  1. Gonna eat Chinese for new year's. Like at the end of every other year
  2. Yeah, the only thing a quad will help me with is GTA 4. e8400 and the i7 are still pretty much equals in most game benchmarks, so I left it alone for now. And yeah gets lot's of DDR2 Ram it's cheap, you can probably get 8GB for under a hundred dollars these days. DDR2 performance compared to DDR3 in games is still only 2-3 fps, not worth the price premium for now
  3. 5. Stupid disappointing game with loading screens every 10 feet you walk
  6. I liked RA3! When it wasn't crashing that is
  7. My mom wishes me to inform you that for the amount of money that you use to power your computer, you could set up a grow op in your house and instead of losing money, you could make money. Money to fund your obscene computer requirements. haha, yeah never get a 30" monitor, you'll blow so much $$$ on getting games to run smoothly on it. They sure do look pretty though (CoD5 @ 2560x1600 with 4xaa and 90fps+ at all times) I just picked up a Thermaltake Toughpower 1200w, it's certified for 3x 280s, while my crappy old 1200w Decathlon was not. Also what's interesting is that the 280s were noisy on the old PSU, while they are dead silent on this one This would work better. Unfortunately, it can probably also kill a small elephant that touches it in the wrong place. Don't you need a special socket for that? Usually the max you can pull from a socket is 1250w, and I think that's where I'm capped at
  8. I'm thinking something like that. why? you want em?
  9. I was fine earlier, but now I get errors in the checkout part, I think their servers are taking a pounding

  23. I've seen much much worse ports, people are just overreacting cuz it's such a well known game
  24. I'm getting 25-35 fps with mostly on 30 but dipping to 25 in the most extreme situations. Surprisingly though I think it's not CPU issue but GPU issue, cuz when I lower resolution fps doesn't dip that much, so I'm gonna upgrade my cards very soon
