I have a feeling that I'm going to spend alot of time playing RDR2. It's just so easy to die in this game, and I don't mean on missions but rather just travelling on or off horse. 5 bandits attempted to rob me, I took a bit of time contemplating whether I should dismount like they commanded or not. Unfortunately I took too long deciding what to do, I decided to draw my weapon but before long they opened fire and I near instantly died. I love the a.i in the game, it's refreshing to see the systems like in this game being used. Not bad Rockstar, not bad at all.

Hmmm.. should have known the forum members here would be so quick to defend this trigger happy monster and try to somehow blame our current President for what's gone down. The only thing left is for members here to defend pedophilia and call it a disease instead of a crime.... Oh wait. Anyway, here's a video with the proper facts (no alternative facts or fake news biased speculation). https://youtu.be/lY-2sS7hdkE Heh. Yes, guess I'm a fool for doing research, next people will be telling me that the info in the video was made up. Forum logic always seems to work in opposites as it were anyway

So your response to a crazy person is to exterminate them. That doesn't sound crazy at all.

The mass shooter (Bowers) who killed 11 people was an anti-President Trump democrat who was mad he lost his job, had no money. It triggered him. It wasn't just racism/hate crime but also a political one. This isn't a surprise, just another reason why these people are need to be exterminated and to think there are some delusional folks who say "Good he did that, Republicans shouldn't have pushed him" also terrorists/democratic extremists with that mindset as well. What's new...

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - CON SEASON
SonicMage117 replied to Blarghagh's topic in Computer and Console
The most important news this week. Why is it so important? That's why. -
I know the argument against your comment here would probably be "Well even if I paid $0.99, I still have the rights to keep the game" but I agree with you. Unless games are 2D platformers, they don't age well (excluding games for the UHD generation which has different variables all together of course). The great thing about the industry is that games are always getting better, there's something for everyone, so if all the games that aged horribly suddenly disappeared, people will be able to move on and be satisfied with what present games shd the future holds. Unfortunately, gamers don't use logic when it comes to these things so they would complain and whine to their peers if not anything else. Nevermind the fact that pc gamers generally don't even read the terms of agreement from Steam/GoG and Origin to know that the only time they truly own a game is when they buy a physical game that doesn't feature dlc, doesn't require a day1 patch, doesnt require internet connection and so forth. Alot of these "tru-own" games exist but only really on consoles now. So the false sense of entitlement among gamers as a whole is a broad toxin but will always remain as long as logic is not being used.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - CON SEASON
SonicMage117 replied to Blarghagh's topic in Computer and Console
It seems like you may have missed out on pc gaming for the last few years - We got Gun and Call Of Juarez series, more than good westerns. But yes. You should be happy with the PS4, this gen already has better exclusives than last and there's still alot of life left for the console. -
Putting out a mobile/phone game that doesn't suck by who's standard and compared to what? I'm just confused at how we got from comparing a company's efforts as a whole to a single franchise and trying to ship that as a valid comparison for quality.. or how a phone game contributes to risk or a great game design. Candy Crush is great because it's casual and accessible but it shows how easy it is to make a phone game that doesn't suck. How can Yakuza series make Sega the king of game design or become a standard in game design of that very genre or excuse such shameful game design examples such as Sonic 2006, Sonic and all stars racing, Shenmue HD, etc.? I'm glad that Sega's doors are still open because of titles they've published like Vanquish and Sonic Mania but as far as games both developed and published by the two companies, Sega is by far the greater evil and will always be more generic. As far as creativity and Ubisoft's risk go, Steep and The Crew 2 are pretty huge examples, of course that's aside from picking up all the small indies and marketing them but why even mention that.

It would be! It would probably be less annoying than having to click on everything with the mouse, I look at how well Obsidian transferred over to the superior controls and u.i to make the ps4/xb1 versions that nobody bought, still a great game. Well they're marketing on console is horrible, I remember when Josh Sawyer said Obsidian didn't like consoles and didn't plan on bringing Pillars 1 to consoles (this was stated in the Retrospect panel) but yet wasted tons of resources on bringing Pillars 1 to XB1 and PS4 - only for it to turn out as one of the worst selling games this gen, sadly. I do hope they learned from their mistakes, terrible narketing and whatever else.
-
This is a very strange comment, comparing a game series to a development/publishing team's efforts as a whole hehe On the upnote I have to say Sega has far worse trash than Ubi's worst trash. I'm happy that Ubi has been rolling in the cash lately, they deserve it for taking risks at least. That said, I think Yakuza games are great, not Sega's best in terms of their modern games by any means, but still up there.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - CON SEASON

Hmmm... Riddle me this! How isn't it? Worse use of non-Denuvo drm requires periodic authenticity/verification checks in order to play offline, hackers in mp, these are just a couple issues, if course. I'm all for anti-piracy software but GTA5 is one of the very rare cases that anti-piracy software is actually anti-consumer and can keep the player from game. Worst of all is that there is no fix for it, we have a few fake "fixes" floating around but every one has been successfully debunked. -
Birds Of Prey via DC Universe Streaming App, it's pretty badass Legit awesome and great casting to boot

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - CON SEASON

I thought that it would be coming eventually to pc - like in 5 years lol Given at how shoddy the pc version of GTAV is and even the fan-base, I kinda understand if it doesn't (despite it's success). Then again, in situations similar to this, I remember Josh Sawyer saying that Pillars 1 would never come to pc in the retrospective interview and look what happened. They brought it to PS4 and XB1 with a better u.i and superior control scheme - thanks to controller unfortunately it's one of the poorest selling PS4/XB1 games in recent history though. (Not saying a PC version of RDR2 would sell badly.) As both a console and pc owner, pretty glad that pc gamers are just an afterthought to Rockstar Games. I mean, just another reason that validates my purchase against those pesky pc eletists hehe -
I understand what you mean, I'm constantly looking down at the lower right corner of the screen, RDR2's console controls break the immersion at times but hey, anything is better than a keyboard! That said, I'm sure I'll get used to it and it will become muscle memory after about 40 hours or so. Edit: It's still more immersive than rpg titles we play... An open world fetch quest more immersive than a "deep" rpg? Gee I wonder why

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - CON SEASON

The Vita is so much better than the DSi and 3DS, crazy how it almost has no life but glad it's still alive if even by a thread, too beautiful of a device to go to waste. -
Been playing Red Dead Redemption for a bit hours, picked it up in the morning when the store opened, didn't play it til after work lol The game is pretty beautiful, especially right when you transition from the elklands (snowy mail mounts) to the grizzlies (greenery scenery) on the wagon. For those who have gotten that far,you know

I'm pretty excited for Aquaman, was alaways a fan of Amber Heard but even more than that, we finally get Black Manta. Escape Room seems interesting enough.
-
Me too A proper PoPpy reboot would be nice and is much needed. Imagine the reaction of they surprise announced it at E3 instead of an AC game lol One can dream hehe

What exactly do you think is comical about my comments? I think everyone's opinion here is equally a joke if mine is, I mean, defending and opposing political viewpoints on a forum was never exactly deemed "normal" ot worth anyone's time but this is just for fun (as a casual forums should be). And where are the righty's you speak of? Or that just an assumption based on people speaking out that they do not like with where leftists are? Surely this is all just forum politics after all. Nobody. I'm not assuming either, the context per seen daily shows me what the forum members believe enough to make a proper assessment. I'm going to leave you all now with this phrase which triggers the leftists.. GOD BLESS AMERICA! Hopefully no one gets triggered here now, but if I say that I'm a patriotic extremist by today's standard Pecan and waffles, if you don't like the breakfast, then you shouldn't have woken up! #WokeAmerican #ProudShroud #LargeMarge

This has nothing to do with the right though. The left is at war with the USA while the right and non-lefty's are at war with no-one. If only people would open their eyes and see that lefty's vs lefty's is a common now rather than being a non-existent thing. May you all forever reflect on this pic, in your younger days you had more energy and were more intelligent. In your older days, you are as canines who cannot learn, stubborn within the forgotten nexus. I understand that the internet is our way of voicing things but as a non-republican and non-democratic, I am up to speed with the tricks of the left and the hypocrisy/manipulative incentives of their blind followers. Kick rocks kids, we are the doom of our own failures. Best we stop blamimg others and move on, to continue growth the only way possibly. Time for Americans to start acting like Americans, something that hasn't really been done since beforethe 1930's anyway. Any History majors here?

Oh dear. That moment when satire becomes reality: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGDac6Xj7-A Loved that movie! My favorite thing about it was that the moon nazis were nothing like the nazis in earth. They weren't aiming to kill people but rather improve life. They were compassionate, even to the black guy whose skin they bleached who she (the nazi) fell in love with - even with black skin. There was a great message in that movie, comedy? Or was the production just so bad that it turned out comedy? Either way, none of it was satire, that's exactiy how moon nazis would react if they were based on the moon (in reality) and it's actually what most believed - as most Americans believe they are a cure to poverty anyway... No joke there.

Dead Rising are great games... Hell, look at at Ninja Gaiden Z Yaiba, it was hated because it wasn't really Ninja Gaiden but it was actually better anyway. Same thing with the cel-shaded Prince Of Persia that you couldn't die in, the best Prince Of Persia game wasn't Prince Of Persia. Weird hpw that works hehe

So we (as in you and I or EVERYONE) live in a world where total freedom is manipulated by restriction of the liberals, where leftists think it's okay to invade on private properties and shout death threats because they have freedom of speech. Always found the hypocrisy strange among the leftists, they are "free to" say whatever they please but whenever a non-leftist or someone disagrees with them - even excluding politics, then that person is wrong or should somehow feel they do not have that same freedom. It goes to show how weak the argument really is. And while I'm not on the right, even I can acknowledge this. Ahhhh... Yes, we are free to believe what you want to believe but just because we believe something, doesn't make it real. Sadly, this is also a world which neglects common sense and mistakes truth for ignorance. Need I say more? Just waiting for that one person with a snarky response now that tries to make me sound like a looney, just don't forget the "huehue XD" at the end hehe If you want a libertarian/socialist country, you are in the wrong place. There will be a constant civil war which spans hundreds of years before we ever got to that point. And hear hear... Yes, we want this for our kids
-
LOL!!! Well one thing we can all agree on, is the fact that extreme leftist (aka liberals) dictating what we do, trying to manipulate us with their fake news or alternative facts. They're basically modern day nazis and to compare them with such is rightfully so - we all have anyway at one point or another.
