  1. You've never seen a shoulder holster? Menze may very well have just used this (the first hit on GIS for "shoulder holster") as a model. Notice the quilted shoulder pads. Or maybe he just knows more than you do. Who are you, again?
  2. Project Georgia's been worked on for at least since NWN2 came out, yes? And no, they wouldn't be able to actually use the trademarks of Bond / Bourne / Bauer. They'll probably have "suave / utilitarian / savage" options. Which admittedly makes the dialogue system sound incredibly facile.
  3. It's not much, but we get our first glimpses of the engine in the first and third panels, and significant NPCs in that last one. And we can reasonably assume that there will be a mission in China and a mission in a city subway.
  4. Sounds like story-wise, it's going Bourne. Besides, I like the odds associated with Bourne movies. 24 would make a terrible RPG, raising ridiculous stakes to ever more ridiculous heights until the plot is completely useless. And Bond is outdated.
  5. The dialogue system was described as ME meets Indigo Prophecy, yes. And STB, ME was fully VO'd and they had two voice actors, one for each gender. So it's not impossible that they get more than one VA, but it's probably expensive. If we were to have a choice we'd probably get three, tops.
  6. NJ is in the ground. Alpha Protocol is PG.
  7. There's always MGS. But that's not necessarily realistic, AI-wise, and rules out run and gun gameplay.
  8. So I have noticed a bevy of newly created developer accounts active in this part of the forum. Do introduce yourselves to us.
  9. I think Fergie has stated that the goal is to have 3 projects spinning at any one time. Some have speculated that a second NWN2 xpac is the third project at this time. but it's possible that there isn't a third project.
  10. It just means that you'll have a radial menu for selecting weapons.
  11. Who throws a shoe? Honestly. I'm interested in seeing where Obsid takes the UE3 engine. How long has PG been in development, anyway?
  12. Question #1: Is Alexander Brandon attached to this game as well as Aliens? Yes? No? Question #2: Who do you think they'll get for voicework? It seems pretty obvious that they're going for ME-style fully VOd dialogue. Is it impractical to record more than one voice? Question #3: How come Alpha Protocol gets its own board makeover, and Aliens doesn't? Did Josh win too many office poker games?

I edited (most of) them out. Maybe it was just a fluke.
  14. I imagine there will be a plethora of choices to be made. How extensive / interconnected they are remains to be seen.
  15. Is Matthew Fox doing voicework?
  16. THAT'S WHY YOU'RE THE JUNIOR DESIGNER, BULOCK. If you can't agree with the team, then you can make your own espionage RPG. Then you can have all the JB characters you like.

Okay, I noticed when I posted in the Alpha Protocol forum that the quotation mark and apostrophe characters seem to cause a slash to appear in front of the character. I don't believe it's this keyboard. Has anybody else noticed this?
  18. Because XBL is highly functional. Steam's pretty good too, though. Besides, if L4D has an advanced version of the Source engine requiring good hardware (which is pretty doubtful, I'd say) it might be a good idea to play on a standardized platform.
  19. I\'m wondering, James Bond had a little bit of an existential crisis when the Cold War ended. That GI cover shows what appears to be a general of some kind. Perhaps a villain? Will this be a "classic" cold-war espionage type of deal, or will it be akin to the "new Bond" and the Tom Clancy oeuvre, focusing on terrorism and the prevention thereof? Or will it be both? Also, what about NPCs? Pretty much the only way this game can play out is going solo, but what about recurring NPCs? Will there be a Q? An M? Or will it be a Bourne type of deal, with the agent on his own against massive organizations? *Edit - Okay, it's going to be a Bourne sort of story
  20. **** crates. Give us barrels.
  21. And will it be too much? How will the weapon skills break down, if at all? We know there's unarmed combat. Will there be different kinds of martial arts? Wonder...
  22. I'll be here anytime you actually want to defend the Witcher with anything other than "but but but roleplaying" and "hurr ur stupid lol hurr" Pop, I beg you, you must go to troll the Codex with actual points. It'll be epic I've had about enough of the codex and I've never actually set foot in the forums.

The McLaughlin Group is operating on a whole other level.
  25. It jibes with Surfer Girl reports from some months back, though. Obsidian seems like an odd target for April Fool's. They're small potatoes.
