  1. I think Obsidian realized that Bioware's flaw in KOTOR was that everybody just used the Jedi and left poor ol' Zaalbar and Mission sitting in the dust! Now you have no excuse to try out all the characters, as almost all of them can be Jedi!
  2. I thought Handmaidern was supposed to be as fiercely loyal to you as Visas and the two of them were supposed to fight over you. Btw, anybody know Handmaiden's REAL name?
  3. You know, there's an awful lot of confusion over several plot devices (ie. Darth Treya, etc.) May I suggest that with different Revan beginnings (Light/Dark, Male/Female) and idfferent beginnings and behaviors of the PC in the game, that different things can happen?
  4. Mandalorian Girl? What Mandalorian girl?
  5. It's Handmaiden and Disciple that you can't have at the same time. One's for male PCs, the other for females.
  6. There's lots of game footage at ign? i believe, with both of them together. if you get handmaiden at telos, you'll get visas later in the game, and handmaiden won't be terribly pleased about it.
  7. Is it this one: 3, 17, 13, 5, 7 ???
  8. Well, I guess it's to be expected considering the vast amount of people on the forum. It doesn't bother me as much as questions like: "Is KOTOR2 a Star Wars game? Because I've seen a lot of swords. Where are the lightsabers? There aren't any swords in the movies!"
  9. Yep. That's straight from KOTOR2.com
  10. Not as pretty as KOTOR? What's wrong with it?
  11. I'm still not quite sure what you want, so here's this: Disciple The disappearance of the Jedi drove many explorers to search for them and attempt to discover their fate. One such seeker is a lone Disciple working for the Republic. He has traversed the galaxy in search of Jedi and any trace of their teachings, much of which were lost when Saul Karath bombed Dantooine and turned the planet's skies to ash. Why the Disciple seeks the Jedi so fervently, or what he hopes to learn from their ancient teachings is not known. While he shares the distrust much of the galaxy feels for the Order in the wake of the Jedi Civil War, he is nevertheless drawn to them, and is acutely aware that their skill is needed if the Republic is to be salvaged from destruction. The Disciple is a skilled healer. In addition to making medpacs and other healing items, he functions as a portable medical workbench, capable of breaking down items into their chemical components so that more valuable items may be made. Visas Marr A Dark Jedi Miraluka from the Mid-Rim world of Katarr, Visas Marr is the lone surviving member of her species. Gifted with the ability to see only through the Force, she perceives the world through Force patterns and flux, allowing her to see the true nature of her enemies, and her own true nature as well. This power is called Force Sight. When looking across The Sith Lords landscape, Marr can see through obstacles to the sentients waiting in ambush beyond. When her homeworld was obliterated by the Sith, Marr was claimed by one of the greatest Sith Lords as his apprentice and slave. Why she was spared when her people were slain is unknown. Her enslavement has broken her will and corroded her spirit; she is deep in the thrall of the dark side. Echani Handmaiden The mysterious Echani Handmaidens, 5 sisters, have faithfully served the Jedi Order for years, acting as scouts, soldiers and missionaries. Vowing not to learn the Jedi way after the destruction wrought by the Jedi Civil War, they have maintained a galaxy-wide vigil, watching for re-emergent Sith or fallen Jedi. However, they too have vanished, their fate unknown. The Echani pride themselves on physical combat. Well-versed in hand-to-hand and melee weapon techniques, they are lethal fighters, able to shrug off damage with deft blocks or by anticipating and evading their opponents' strikes. The Echani believe that a person's true nature is only revealed through combat; thus, their highly stylized, ritualistic fighting is a kind of dialogue between adversaries, testing their enemies' spirit and resolve. It is said that the greatest Echani warriors can predict the outcome of a conflict several hours, weeks and in rare cases, even years in advance simply by knowing the nature and numbers of the enemies they face.
  12. I think it's her too. I was being facetious.
  13. Well, if nothing else, there's definitely going to be a character in te game who looks like Bastila, dresses like Bastila, and sounds like Bastila. Whether it IS Bastila remains to be seen, but we'll see.
  14. Which characters did you have in mind?
  15. Nope. I just know that Jennifer Hale is in the credits, therefore Bastila returns! Plus there's that one screenshot from the magazine.
  16. If you don't want to know, don't read on. The following characters will return in one form or another:
  17. Me? I'm making speculations on little facts that I've had access to.
  18. You can get them both at the same time.
  19. Handmaiden does not start as a Jedi. Read the Echani Handmaiden bio on KOTOR2.com -- the 5 Handmaidens were not trained on purpose! However, there are sceenshots of her with a lightsaber, so I believe she CAN be trained. As for Disciple, I think it reasonable that he could also be force sensitive, as he is searching for Jedi. It may be a Disciple of Handmaiden choice... If that is so, forget Disciple!
  20. Visas Marr and Handmaiden CAN be in the same party together. There are several (at least 3, probably more) HK-50 droids hunting you. Handmaiden's name appears as "Handmaiden" in the footage from Gamespy. G0-T0 is not Bao-Dur's droid, which looks like Luke's lightsaber training droid. G0-T0 looks like Vader's interrogation droid. Maybe "Goto" of Nar Shaddaa IS G0-T0, a droid crime lord who joins your party...
  21. Yes, it is rather silly.
  22. There's both G0-T0 (a droid) and Goto (a crimelord).
  23. Possibly. I think Atris has ties to Handmaiden, too. Maybe one of the 5 Echani Sisters?
  24. I don't mind it. It was always a distinct possibility that Canderous could become the Mandalore.
  25. In Gamepro's Review, they say: "The main cast is completely different, but characters from the first KOTOR make regular appearances, (something sure to cause veterans to exclaim, "Oh, c'mon, there's no way he became a Republic admiral!")." Carth maybe? "Now With 20 Percent More Severed Hands" Kreia maybe?
