  1. According to numerous sources, a saber is supposed to reflect the individual person. sith or dark jedi have mass produced sabers that they keep (not out of temporary necesity). Thus for true jedi, no two sabers are the same.
  2. You gave credit and can't be faulted I guess. My input was just myself though. Haha. This is one of the only places where people won't recognize me for the fool I am.
  3. Significant, yes. Completely intertwined, no. I think it was said in an intervies (I think I've said this before) you can play the second game without playing the first. No complete reliance there. The fact that they are five years apart only means that some of the people are probably still alive, and that things can't have changed that much.
  4. The man has a point (that has been mentioned before, but a point nonetheless). Building a saber should be a quest in and of itself. With getting the materials yourself and the crystal...
  5. Yah, but it's kind of fun to sound all impressive like I know what I'm talking about.
  6. whoa...ya he confundido. You have confused me. I now consider myself confused.
  7. Whoa, I was making a joke about we who talk about how hot computer generated "people" are. No need to get offended or to offend here.
  8. Story driven. You can't get them until a certain point. My guess is then you get something like 3/4 of FP you would have gotten at the levels if you could get Fps.
  9. Could someone keep track of how many times this has been asked? I count 2 polls and I think more questions (not including this one). I still say no, as she was too important in the old game to bring into a new game. Minor characters only.
  10. Characters actually doing something after you get them (the initial entry dialogue)...has that ever really been done in an RPG (gasp!). This is one of the major shortcomings I find in RPGs. You get a character, they have alot of dialogue, and that's about it for the game. Sometimes there's a character sidequest, but it doesn't really make a difference. The character often doesnt' say that much even in their own sidequest.
  11. Works better using the mechanics and common sense. You can't access force sensitive, but haven't lost what you already had. As for common sense, you wouldn't forget how to do the powers, you just don't have access to the force. If you get it back you can do these things again.
  12. I wasn't thinking deep voice...not at all...but the rest is right. Which american accent though? We do have 50 states, each with their own little accent (some barely different than each other) and speech quirks.
  13. I'd say your FP goes way down, not the powers you know. This would show the cutting off from the force. You still know the powers, you just can't use them.
  14. I'd guess there would be a dispersal effect somehow. Maybe the energy can' sustain that straight linyness and breaks apart somehow...
  15. Has powers, can't use them. S/he was a jedi when gaining those levels, no?
  16. I was afeared of that. But still. I reign supreme!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know what i have to reign over, but I still do. Anyway, the Krath used snubfighters, no?
  17. (Chanting) Barabel! Barabel!
  18. Whoa. I almost understood what you said too. I think we all know that sabers of light can't be built, but question: how would a crystal that focuses energy fit into your theory? That was a SW lore provoked question. I heard somewhere that energy naturally forms bars, wouldn't there be a way in theory to cause the energy flow to be released after a certain point, and thus making it have a specific length. I imagine it would look more like a flaming sword if that were to happen with the energy at the end dispersing.
  19. We are all such losers. Anyway, I didn't like Bastila at all (sometimes I think I'm the only one). Mira has far more potential than Bastila. Also, Mira really doesn't look good or ugly right now. Maybe we could tell if we had more close up screens.
  20. Someone actually refrences me? Yay. This is actually the first time yay. I don't know who to thank. I"d like to start with ... Anyway, thanks.
  21. Can you ever really change someones mind in an argument?
  22. Should is another good question, and the one most relevent here.
  23. Isn't that what I just said? Almost exact words and everything?
  24. 1 exp point away from second level maybe? Starting at lvl 1 would be more fitting and less fitting at the same time. I'd agree about force usage.
  25. I'd agree with removal of shields. Put in the superconductive metal. Don't remove snubfighters. They were used in the Kun war and probably before. Sabers are always supposed to be rare, as a jedi only weapon. I don't think they're that new. Blasters are around, but not as good accuracy I think. The style looks very different (read the tales of...comics). Double bladed should be in (Kun used one and I don't know about anyone else), but alot harder to find and use. Alot. More than alot.
