Technically Xard, that should be the inner geek not nerd.If you need more write fanfics the plot might be better than the movies and perhaps more satisfying. -
Interesting point actmodern. However,I am not as familiar with Nietzche as I should be. I agree with vaxen on the reasons for Kriea's teachings, though the Exile to me seemed to already think that way.I point to the conversation with Atris, and Brianna also. In my opinion Kotor 2 in the whole was referencing Dante and the Roman concept of the 'Body politic'.That is why I am Purgatorio. The 2nd of the Divine comedy trio.

Game ending glitch at Czerka offices on Telos
Purgatorio replied to Zerakis's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The only suggestion I can give is to go to your dealer and get an exchange. 1 question is your Xbox a 360 or a big black box? I ask this because some one else on this forum has had trouble with their 360 backwards compatibility.Which I know nothing about I am just thankful that I don't have a Playstation..... -
Ponce, punce language content edit wouldn't let me say what I wanted.... <_< I say ponce you say punce. Google spell check, ponce also.Either way it is still what he is.

Kreia's REAL name?
Purgatorio replied to Brooklyn Dark Lord's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It is folly to build a theory on something when the available information is lacking in volume, and or validity.... IMO I am glad that part was cut. That is if it was considered in the first place, what a incredibly crappy plot twist that would have been. -
According to wikipedia.I don't like to quote unofficial sources as you can't build an argument on conjecture and in this case it is made more difficult being a theory of a theory in fiction... The council didn't agree with the idea of midichlorians,or testing for them, though Qui-gon did and tested Anikan for his percentages as we all know. But why did they the council consider the prophecy? Surely testing for superiority of some trait and and looking for some god like figure from some prophecy of dubious origins to restore balance was stupid in the least....the merging of science and religion is a slippery slope indeed. Where did the prophecy come from? It is possible that it was came from the Sithari legend but I do not know...I hope not.Palpatine might have known of the Sithari legend...a prophecy based on a religion of perfidy, pfft, pure idiocy. The idea of midichlorians is similar to a theory of Duchess Margaret Cavendish,a 17th century scientist and playwrite. The Duchess suggested the universe was made up of intelligent particles.Though I am not certain how this fits into the symbiotic relationship of force user and midi-chlorians also I am confused as to whether the relationship is indeed symbiotic. Why did the Jedi continue to ask the force if the midichlorians are the bridge between the two the answer might have been tainted? Is it not wiser to find out the answer for yourself? Dark Wastle, Would the force really be put back into balance by the two Jedi being victorious, what about the echoes caused by the murders and exploding planets over thousands of years? How is one side tipping the scales in their favour balance?

The phone that won't stop ringing
Purgatorio replied to icebox15's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Towards the end of K1 when traveling between two worlds you would land somewhere physically impossible eg:Dantooine or Kolto research facility, causing the Wookie or Bastilla army, and the ability to go back to Taris. That glitch got dull quickly, how many times can you kill a Rancor with force storm. It was also a bit inconvenient to have to save to make sure your game didn't screw up for example the auto mission complete ,where if you go into the tomb of Tulak Hord and the console jams completing the mission for you, giving you dark-side points but no tablet. <_< -

That's my lightsaber. If you tell atton it was a double-blade she does not have a double at the end.I did not know there was a bug for Atris's lightsaber as it has always been my lightsaber in the beginning and a single red at the ending. -
Well I say when Chodo remarked about "healing", he was talking about the "Wound" and not the Force connection. Which to comprehend the concept you must put aside the bonus force points. The points are more related to game mechanics, and as I feel, Exile had already been reconnected when Kreia made the initial bond, it was only a matter of feeling it completely, extra Force points dont entirely mean re-connection. If anything Chodo helped to strengthen your connection, but in no way healed you because the wound had remained. Chodo was extremely vague on the subject. The following is not a spoiler, but a related issue of my interpretation <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes the connection was already reestablished and chodo failed to heal the wound. But in the failed healing the connection was strengthened. My interpretation of the wound was that the pain was why the Exile cut himself off, that act left the emptyness.Yes being connected to all the others that died on Malachore was simply to much. Dark side there was no choice, light side fear,so there sort of was a choice though not conscious, more instinct. But Nilihus could not cut himself off or wouldn't so fead on the pain craving the force until he became a shell.True that he and the Exile are opposites though IMO the Exile is not a shell.I think this because of what Chodo said about having no choice in enduring the pain of a planet, and not wanting to gain strength from others. It is because Exile has no choice than to live with the pain and grows stronger by enduring.He/she doesn't become an unthinking animal like Nihilus. I don't agree with the theory that is floating around about the Exile only being so strong in the force by leaching of the crew. That is only evident by killing the masters individually *sorry moderator* instinct filling the hole and the bonus offered to you by Kriea when you ask why Hannhar is on the ship...*sorry again* though that could be considerd a gameplay issue they are optional as is with chodo's healing of the wound itself attempt ....It is just my interpretation.

Yes and how exactly did Vrook help against the mercenaries. <_< The way she killed the masters might not have worked on the Exile.I didn't find the final battle particularly easy, unless using force crush. You chopped off her remaining hand are you suggesting Kriea is an Axolotl, where would she make replacement hands and how? Oh I see the force could be a substance that burns and she could mould them with the force....all that scrap metal on Malachore's surface she could build an entire fleet of cyborgs.Yes an army of 7 of 9s!!!!11 <_<

Yes red is the colour of Mars God of war. Imo the others don't really seem to have any significance.Blue is pretty though as is silver and Cyan.Silver could be complete light-side. You should be able to have the blood red crystal in K2 as an option. <_<

How perverse,it is the best. EDIT:Don't squeez it to hard or it will pop.

Thank you Zulu 86 and like wise. I like the concept of the rotting arm of the Exile,it's like the tomb stones of the Black Death era suggesting mortality. Malak giving a speech I like.Your eye is drawn to Revan and you consider why she is not up there instead. If I might offer a suggestion as to what is bothering you about 'Mind-wiped Revan as Bastilla's Padawan on Tattooine'could it be the bridge of the nose. Personally I have trouble drawing three-quarter profiles especially those of female faces as they don't have brow-ridges.... Thank you and I hope to see more.

Technically I would have to agree...but I have never got Niman form in a play through, that I know of so it is probably a consular form.

The phone that won't stop ringing

I would find it rather funny that no passer by or TSF has picked up the phone. Why would Czerka try to ring, and how can they B4D4 has already left. -
About the whole 'Sith eyes' thing
Purgatorio replied to Accelerator's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I thought Uthar had white eyes.Kriea's eyes are like cataracts. It could be suggested that the eye change is caused through stress or blood-rage.I don't think Malak's eyes were as normal as you suggest. -
Do you want someone coughing up fur-balls in the middle on the night?
-
I agree with vaxen83,perhaps it is the act of trying to heal that heals the Exile. Rather than peaceful meditation it is more learning activity that reestablishes the connection. In this instance anyway. Though I am not sure if the Exile is numb to herimself. How do we put the force points gained aside? It is proof that some healing was obtained.

Sorry to late for editing I shall add in Kotor 1 as Revan you can In that I am refering to the conversation with the researcher in the Elders compound. Yes it is a way to measure connection to the force and then that leads to elitism. What happend to modesty and equality?
-
Is it just me or does the Midi-Chlorian and force in blood-lines sound a bit like Eugenics? In Kotor 1 Revan expressed heris dislike of the Rakatan's studies of their genetics. Why would the council of Yoda's time be so stupid to use something that classifies by genetic traits? When did the council start this Midi-Chlorian crap, was it after Darth Bane?

Mandalorian Wars
Purgatorio replied to jedimastercodydevore's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I thought Kreia said that about Brianna's mother,I can't check as my xbox is in a box somewhere. <_< If in the EU the council does not exile those who fornicate then it is possible that Kriea is Bastilla's Grandmother.
