  1. Nooo!! Divinity 2 is a third person action RPG. Much like Skyrim, but much more story driven and actual abilities you can use in battle. You're talking about Divinity: Original Sin. Divinity 2 is an older game and was on sale. I played it a while back, but never got around to getting into it. And because it was on sale now I bought it.
  2. Yeah Endurance is HP per encounter and Health is overall HP, which when reduced to 0 will leave you in Maimed state until you rest (or die )
  3. I bought Divinity II: Dev edition on steam for EUR 2,50 during the Halloween sale. Great fun. Maybe try that
  4. Hi, good idea! Although I don't think you should give your opinion on the subject matters if they don't add anything to clear things up. Saying Endurance and Health is weird is your opinion. I don't think it is weird. The point you're trying to make however is that you have HP per encounter and overall HP and this is differentiated between endurance and health. Keep it short and simple. State what the facts are and explain why they are so. There is also information on the wiki (albeit quite dated in same cases). Also less wall of text per block. Use paragraphs, and cleanup the info.
  5. You can accept to help her and then betray her. This is better anyway because it gives you more experience than actually helping her (you get to complete the quest plus experience from the kill). AND you get the Scale-Breaker talent which makes dragon fights much easier. With some food, potions and the right positioning and spells you can win the fight without losing anyone, even on lower levels (if you like a challenge).
  6. Early game your stats are evened with the enemy, but you'll outlevel them so you won't miss much and become tougher. 7 con is lowish. I wouldn't go lower than 8. And on easy mode you may as well put con at 10 and lower res. Every point in Constitution increases your endurance by 5%, which in my opinion is more useful than 1 point in Resolve ie. deflection.
  7. Well you took the min max advice from a person who has played this game multiple times and knows how to work around low constitution. If you don't have a whole lot of experience I would advise against doing that. Low con hurts front liners unless they have some sort of other defenses like a fighter or a paladin.
  8. Just tried the keeper and you can't do this. Perhaps if you have a more detailed editor like the TlkEdit I use for NWN2. I don't know if what Jojobobo suggests is possible and whether or not doing so may break you character during level up. It's worth a shot I guess. Don't forget to use IEMod for this: http://www.nexusmods.com/pillarsofeternity/mods/1/?
  9. Thing to note. Early game fights are easier than later game fights (unless you are on PotD). And the higher the difficulty the more enemies. So if you play on easy mode you'll have an easier time. Later you'll have fights with more and more durable enemies so spirit shift will run out before the fight ends and then you'll be happy you aren't naked
  10. Yes, totally lore friendly. Setting yourself on fire disturbs me somehow. I don't care how strong it is. It doesn't do it for me.
  11. Yeah that's a really old post and refers to patch 2.0. We're on 3.03 now and 3.04 comes out soon.
  12. Hm, perhaps Eternity Keeper can do this. I've seen the option to select a model for your character, but I don't know if it actually does what you want. I'll try later. If it works you may be able to change the appearance of the Godlike to a Human for instance.
  13. What do you mean stack? They both look at the amount of wounds. There is no stacking involved. Turning Wheel gives +5% fire damage per wound Iron Wheel gives +1 DR per wound If your question is if they can both be active at the same time, then the answer is yes.
  14. Yeah, I never pick that, because something about the whole "I'm going to set myself on fire" doesn't sit right with me. But to each his own.
  15. Also, I always configure Pallegina as an extra damage dealer. Her stats are so high that she doesn't need a shield. So I give her: Dual wielding weapons Bloody Slaughter Two Weapon Style Savage Attack Next to her defensive talents. That way she can also kill stuff and not just stand around absorbing hits.
  16. If you want only companions then that is the way to go. After you get passed Caed Nua you can get Pallegina rather quickly (completing the side quest "At All Costs" is required). If you give her the Zealous Endurance your party will be more durable. Make sure to set the options so companions do not auto-level up in the options menu. To be fair Fighters are more all round tanks when concerning only themselves. If they can take aggro they can hold out for a long time. If not then their role is diminished, yes they can "leash" enemies to focus them, but that may not be effective in all situations, especially when there is a lot of enemies (on higher difficulties). Paladins have aura's to support the party and abilities that benefit others more. Their stats are naturally higher due to faith and conviction passive. Note that they do not gain or lose any stats when your disposition is different from their preferred disposition. The stats increase with levels. Eders personal quest can only be completed by gaining high enough reputation with Defiance Bay and then unlocking access to Clîaban Rilag through the main questline. So if you plan to complete this then you'd have to switch in Eder again at that point when you meet the prerequisites.
  17. Even for PotD you only need one real tank. I opt to go with a Paladin, because they will stay alive and be able to cast their per encounter support abilities (revive, heal, suppress afflictions, all the good stuff). The other frontliner can be an off tank and if you feel hyphy then you can go with a full dps non tank. Just send the tank in first and follow up with the non tank.
  18. In order to have hte boar be as evenly balanced as the others the bleed damage needs to be a 2-use per rest ability. I just tried it and it's just disgusting even at level 1. Needs nerfhammer.
  19. Pfffff. I'm going to see if I can make it so the spirit shift looks like a wolf, but has the boar passives.
  20. Man, too bad its ugly af. Probably not going to use it. What are the other bonuses? Cats get more attack speed and another speed buff when activated. Stag get carnage and a defense buff. But what of Bears and Wolves? And my question regarding Taste of the Hunt?
  21. That's cool. And how's the spell "Taste of the Hunt"? Is that in any way useful with a spirit shift build? And what is that wounding thing you're talking about? I don't see that in any description.
  22. That was something I was wondering. Do all items become inert while spirit shifted? Or do some things carry over? The description does a spectacular job of explaining this, so I don't know why I'm asking this.
  23. Well that is good to know. Spiritshift Druid here I come! Too bad the duration is so short.
