  1. Have you tried to start new party of 6 on difficulty other then Legendary? No, I don't see a point in playing below legendary. Much less gold for the time. And since the complaint is about how much gold is being earned, playing below legendary doesn't make much sense. I don't see a point in playing a story mode on Legendary (other than to challenge myself, but I use solo character for that) but that is another discussion. And not really relevant for this particular issue. OP's issue is that new parties no longer get gold for completing scenarios in story mode. Knowing we still get gold for Legendary is nice (and it would be beyond idiotic from Obsidian to remove that!) but potentially not getting it for Normal or Hard is an issue. But I guess the whole point is to make us "buy" gold...

  3. They keep screwing up the gold farming with each new update... good thing I couldn't care less about gold or treasure chests.
  4. That was not an error. If a card was to be banished at the end of the turn, and the end of the turn did not occur because of victory or defeat, the card should not be banished but instead be brought into the deckbuilding phase. Sadly it was an error... this is relevant entry from Wrath of Righteous FAQ (the current valid rules set): "I displayed a card that tells me to banish it at the end of the turn, but I won the scenario so my turn never ends. I get to keep the card, right?Nice try, but no. Resolution: On page 17 of the rulebook, under "Ending a Scenario, Adventure, or Adventure Path, replace "Once you’ve played a scenario, whether you won or lost, rebuild your character deck (see Between Games, below). Put all other cards back into the box" with the following: After you complete a scenario, if any displayed boons could be banished or removed from the game when a certain condition is met (such as the end of an encounter, the end of a turn, or a location closing), treat them as if that condition is occurring. Then put all cards other than boons back in the box. Next, rebuild your character deck (see Between Games, below). Finally, put any remaining cards back in the box."
  5. Harsk - Torag Sajan - Irori Valeros - Cayden Cailean Granted, Harsk and Sajan don't get much use of those particular blessings but those are gods they follow. And of course, as an atheist Ezren doesn't follow any god. As an interesting note, Paizo switched effects for Blessing of Pharasma and Blessing of Nethys because they wanted Seoni to be able to use Pharasma in RotR...
  6. On second thought, the one Runelords promo card I'd like to see is Tup. Hopefully we'll get him at some point...
  7. I haven't found any that don't work, and I've taken more than a few characters into a party that carried them through AD3 first, then went back for B-2 to get the power feats. My guess is one of the the problems with AD4 is that if you don't complete 3 you can run out of available power feats. I wonder if they'll just go on and implement solution for that issue (running out of available power/card feats) which Paizo came up with for Wrath of the Righteous considering most people used all 12 power feats there. It might be a bit more work now but it would solve a lot of issues later on...
  8. I don't think at all. The problem is just come only in Quest mode, a feature with random generation added in the digital game for long term players, because Boa is classified as henchman and still comes out from the pool as other normal henchmen. That case doesn't exist at all in the real RuneLords physical game, so the physical game developer never intended it. The other situation you describe doesn't exit in RuneLords from what I can see. The only similar scenario is 4.4-Under Jorgenfist, with 2 villain but still with henchmen and closing condition for defeating them. So it 's reasonable to suppose that decks in RuneLords don't let you win with full explorations in any circumstances. Also, Hannibal explained how to win that specific Quest scenario: with heavy scout. So or you have a lot of those scout cards in your decks or you statistically fail. That s the reason why this thread exists imo. Yes, situation like that doesn't exist in Runelords but it does exist in Wrath of the Righteous... scenario 0.2 The Elven Entanglement include a henchman that doesn't allow immediate closing of a location. So in both adventures released following Runelords developers gave us scenarios where in order to close a location we need to go through every card. Considering decks in those adventures follow same rules as decks in Runelords and provide even less scouting (no Augury or Scrying spells in either Skulls or Wrath!) the only reason why we didn't get similar scenario in Runelords is because it was their first attempt and they were still learning what they can and cannot do. But now, with three full adventures released (and fourth being released in few months) there is no reason to assume that having Boa appear in Quest mode is not something developers wanted or intended. Does that make the game harder? Sure. Does it make scenario "unwinnable"? Possibly, but then again, "winning" Runelords story mode is borderline impossible if you try to run it with just Ezren...
  9. No, they haven't been added so far. Hopefully we'll get one of them with AD4 when it's released...
  10. Don't forget Birdcruncher Crown... in early stages when you face a lot of goblins that one is rather useful.
  11. Well, you could consider it a "training" for one of the more annoying interesting Skulls & Shackles scenarios (hopefully Obsidian will do that eventually)... Bizzare Love Triangle. In that scenario you have 3 villains, no henchman (you add regular monster instead) and victory condition is to defeat a villain when all three are in the same location (naturally, if all three are not in the same location villain is undefeated and opening a closed location if there's nowhere to run!). So to answer OP's question: yes, this is most likely what developers intended.
