Yes. Up until now, all those cards you didn't keep after a scenario got "salvaged" on their way back to the vault. It never usually amounted to much. Maybe 5-30 gold depending on your haul. The little gold animation was on the far right of the screen and disappeared fast. The only way to really tell anything happened was to take note of your gold after the scenario (the cool numbers "crashing" animation), and compare it to your gold when you're back on the the world map.

Aside from the fact that we're in the middle of Patchageddon (or is it Patchpocalypse?), I doubt you'll hear much until they finish out AD6. They've committed to releasing the full RoTR, and have dropped hints that they'd maybe want to do more. Both Obsidian and Paizo are reasonably-sized corporate entities, and it would be very unlikely you'll hear anything about finances or success on the mobile market until they hit some sort of decision point like working on Pathfinder Adventures 2.0 (or not). An indie dev might be willing to post some numbers, but any company big enough to have a legal staff probably won't off-handedly drop stuff like that on a forum.

Patch Notes for 1.1.3 is now live!
Ethics Gradient replied to Aarik D's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Announcements & News
This is still one of the best mobile games around and some of those features that vere planned in the beta stage Era, Are really interesting and I am really waiting to see them come though eventually! Good things Are coming, just don't Expect to see them bugfree in the first patch Yes, every patch is narrowing closer to what may end up being a really cool implementation of the entire Pathfinder Adventures card game. I'm happy to see where things are going too. Nobody here is excited by bugs, but this is still only a mobile game. For instance, I'd be really upset if Obsidian released a patch that made the batteries in my iPad explode (I'm pretty sure that's not in the Unity SDK...), but anything short of that means I'll just find some other way to spend idle time for a bit. So things are broken for a while, its not like the devs want it that way either. -
I'd say chill out, but it looks like we're a little beyond that. Since you've already resolved that you're "done," feel free to put it down for a while and maybe see where things end up 6 months from now. Remember, this is just a mobile app. It isn't like Obsidian just set your house and fire and walked away laughing.

Changes on some dice
Ethics Gradient replied to MauGibrin's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)
Sky Metal was a bright dark blue, Opal was a pinkish-purpleish color. Lapis was somewhat magenta, and I think cinnabar was somewhat yellowy. Cinnabar and Lapis actually got "fixed" because they should have been displayed as dark blue and reddish in the first place. The dice designer actually posted a comment a little while ago that they were having troubles getting things to display correctly on different devices. -
1.13 ui bug

Ezren's judging gaze says it all. -
New install for me, so the problem wasnt definately in the client side. You also need to check that your iOS Game Center or Google Play Store accounts are logged in and working. The PlayFab service works something like: - Get your Google Play Store or iOS Game Center account, and look up the PFID it's associated with (or make up a new one if nothing's found) - Log in the PFID with your device - Connect to the game server and get account info like gold and chests and DLC and stuff If your game account isn't working right, you won't log in. If your game account is working right, but has an out-of-date login, your app will think it is connected when actually it is not. PlayFab actually recommends implementing Facebook/Twitter logins into their apps because they can occasionally be a little more reliable, and provide secondary authentication methods when the host OS method goes boink.

Patch Notes for 1.1.3 is now live!
Ethics Gradient replied to Aarik D's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Announcements & News
Don't worry about gold/chests/saved characters all that much. It is all in the "cloud." Some of the problems you see are related to the game having an outdated connection to the server. Once you go through the appropriate troubleshooting steps (force-quit the game, reset, throw your tablet in a river and buy a new one), your stuff should be all there once it syncs back up. -
1.13 ui bug
Ethics Gradient replied to Hannibal_PJV's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Here's an example from me. Of note, the "Discard" button is missing on an Aid spell. I'm seeing similar stuff happen with blessings also. It's still there, because if you tap approximately where it should be, it will activate the discard and fire off the spell. Also, there's a faint "ghosting" of the d6 and d8 coming through the card. They are right in the middle of the Aid guy's chest. iOS 9.3.5/iPad pro -
If/when a character editor ever gets patched in, that should mitigate things a little bit, right? At least you'd be able to re-spec every now and then to try different character traits. Also, characters, parties, treasure lists are all stored in the PlayFab "cloud" which does have some set storage limits. Fully utilizing your tiny slice of cloud space now could potentially cause problems if Skull & Shackles ever gets the digital treatment.

Stalker Mask is a special loot card. You don't get it from the deck's big boss. [Spoiler-type stuff regarding the Stalker Mask. ] Obvious spoilers are still spoilers. Click if you've finished AD2, or are the sort of person who probably wouldn't fall for Clark Kent's "disguise" being a pair of eyeglasses.

Monk Ally showing as Item
Ethics Gradient replied to Thorfur's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I haven't acquired the card myself, but it looks like you aren't the first to notice something funny with the Silent Enforcer card. I assume that's the card you were talking about. The only other monk-type ally I know of is a Deck 5 card. -
Rare ivory cards (glitch)
Ethics Gradient replied to RedPred's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I've occasionally noticed that too. A card would appear white in my character's hand, and normal (purple) in the vault/gallery. Seems like it is just a quirky rendering bug in-game. The card still played as expected, just briefly displayed funny. -
Ok, here we go. Freshly mined by the Dwarves at Janderhoff, this is what I've got so far: 8/10 Unstoppable Force Defeat 25 Banes 8/11 Quest for Knowledge Defeat Approach to Thistletop with only Ezren 8/12 Unstoppable Force Defeat 25 Banes 8/13 Quest for Knowledge Defeat Approach to Thistletop with only Ezren 8/14 Battle-Hardened Steel Reduce 30 points of incoming Damage 8/15 A Friend Indeed Acquire 15 Allies 8/16 The Most Toys Acquire 30 Boons 8/17 Fire Misgivings Defeat Foul Misgivings with only Seoni 8/18 Into the Shadows Evade 30 Banes 8/19 Touched by the Gods Assist other characters 15 times using Blessings 8/20 Battle-Hardened Steel Reduce 30 points of incoming Damage 8/21 Utterly Legendary Win 2 Scenarios on Legendary Difficulty 8/22 The Most Toys Acquire 30 Boons 8/23 Unstoppable Force Defeat 50 Banes 8/24 Got Your Back Play 10 Allies 8/25 Completely Normal Win 2 Scenarios on Normal Difficulty 8/26 On the Head of a Pin Defeat Angel in the Tower with only Sajan 8/27 Touched by the Gods Assist other characters 15 times using Blessings 8/28 A Friend Indeed Acquire 5 Allies 8/29 Fang's for the MemoriesDefeat Black Fang's Dungeon with only Kyra 8/30 Got Your Back Play 50 Allies 8/31 Into the Shadows Evade 15 Banes 9/1 Unstoppable Force Defeat 100 Banes 9/2 Quest for Knowledge Defeat Approach to Thistletop with only Ezren Dates are a little tricky due to time zones and whatnot, but that should be the sequence of challenges thus far. There are only a couple dozen different challenges (several with multiple tiers of difficulty), so I'm not sure the point of maintaining a historical record. Nevertheless, here you go!

Button questions
Ethics Gradient replied to deadboy's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)
Yes. And the Trash Can can be used to do optional discards as well. Before pressing the big blue "End of Turn" arrow, tap the trash can, and you can can dump cards before you reset your hand and end your turn. -
