  1. Entirely right. Turning treasure cards "on" doesn't permanently contaminate the vault or anything. What it does is determine whether or not a random selection of treasure cards will be mixed into the "vanilla" vault the next time you start a scenario. What it should not do is have any effect on games in progress. And it should not remove any treasure cards that characters may possess whenever you toggle the on/off button. If you want to have a party play the game "pure", just turn treasure cards off before you pick the next scenario. When you're playing with a party that you would like to encounter treasure cards, just turn it back on again. The "Treasure cards in story mode" option isn't particularly well explained, but to the best of my knowledge it is perfectly safe to toggle on/off without affecting a "pure" playthrough or wrecking the inventory of a party loaded down with treasures.
  2. Probably. I think the most recent Pathfinder apps were built with Unity 5.4.3f1. Any patch release or major release newer should have the audio fix. If you're wondering "Well, why haven't the devs upgraded their Unity?" the answer is mostly: "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Unity generally recommends caution when updating your setup because the little changes here and there might bug out an app and require some testing to verify things are still ok.
  3. Your best option would be to start a quest mode game, select a bunch of characters, grab the "SLOT99/game.sav" file off your device, forfeit and repeat until you have a representative quest save with all of all your characters. But without knowing how a potential re-implementation of Quest Mode might work, it is doubtful what good those file files might be useful for in the future. But if you want to archive your characters, that's really the only solution right now.
  4. Yes. That is quite true. Cards should be immediately added to your account when the transaction goes through, not when you tap open the four chests. It should be really hard to have a situation where a chest was spent but no cards were added. If you force-quit the app and restart, it should refresh your inventory and show you the updated list of cards. If you can't tell which cards those last couple chests might have given you, the guys who run email support (support@obsidian.net) can look up the transaction and let you know what to look for.
  5. Try forwarding this request to support@obsidian.net. The forums have been little quiet recently, but someone usually answers the emails within a couple business days and will help you figure out what went wrong.
  6. The Restore button actually doesn't do an awful lot. Its function is to lookup your Google Play or iOS Game Center account and check for DLC packages you have purchased (real money or gold) such as the "Rise of the Runelord bundle" or the "Character Add-on Deck" and make sure that your app knows what it is authorized to use. There are relatively few circumstances where the Restore button will solve a problem for you. Other non-dlc things like Gold, Chests, Cards, and Collectibles are synced with the server periodically while playing. If you suspect that one of those things is bugged, the best thing to do is force-quit the app and restart it. Usually, the syncs going on behind-the-scenes when you see that "Logged in" popup is enough to get your local account back on track.
  7. I think that it is likely the mysterious "heal bug" too. I use the club all the time (also with Kyra), and it appears to work just fine. Assuming healing is still working at all...
  8. It stinks when things like this happen, but it is usually safe to delete the party save and then create a new one. Characters "live" in a file outside the save, and you can just chose them under the "Experienced" characters section and continue on where you left off. The good news is that starting a new party with old characters should get you back to the last scenario you completed. The bad news is that you will lose Heroic/Legendary completion data in the process. Sorry. There isn't much else to do as the App or cloud don't really hold backups. It just keeps your most recent save.
  9. If I recall correctly, the reason for the change was that it was getting to be a nuisance when a Warchanter popped up and you had multiple characters at that location. Every character had to roll for wisdom whether they could even assist in the check or not. The fix was to only wisdom-check characters playing prohibited cards This modified behavior also extends to the other "Warchanter-like" banes with similar powers. I forget when the change happened, but I think it was sometime before AD5 was released.
  10. Sorry I don't have much more than a suggestion to reboot the app. There aren't any other workarounds to troubleshoot funny business with the challenge server. Best I can suggest is to post your username or PFID and hope one of the devs stop by to investigate if there's an issue on their end. Out of curiosity, do you recall if you completed the previous daily challenge to acquire 5 allies? I did not, and it shows that I haven't completed today's Lem challenge.
  11. Just try a force-quit of the app and opening it up again. Due to the asynchronous nature of how the app communicates, it is often possible to get the updated challenges without refreshing the challenge progress. Last your app knew, it was pretty sure it was at 100% on a daily. The app then got a notification that the challenge changed, but never double checked what the completion status is. It is just sitting there thinking: "well, the challenge changed, but I guess I'm still done with the daily... right?" It's been good advice for a long time to periodically force-quit the app and open it up again. You don't have to do it every time you play, but when you do so, it fires off a round of syncs that often resolves some funny behavior.
  12. I don't believe it was present prior to the Valentines' update. It is fairly recent, for sure.
  13. Cool. Glad it turned up somehow. The blessing deck is drawn from the "leftover" blessings after pulling cards for the location decks. The fact that it showed up in the blessing deck means that the card is still "live" even if it isn't visible in your vault.
  14. The Wand of Enervation has a long and amusing history as the Wand of Generally Benevolent Glitches. In some ways I'd like to understand why it seems to go bonkers, but it is a lot more fun to assume it just works through wild magic that occasionally goes awry.
  15. Sorry to hear that. It is possible that the card isn't 100% implemented, even though you managed to score a copy. Although it may not be displayed due to a glitch, it should still be attached to your PFID. At the very least, it will show up in your vault after the card is officially "released."
  16. Unity of Sarenrae - Same as above examples, but with "Constitution non-combat check" Cyphermage - "to your check"
  17. Yes, that seems to be what the devs indicated. If have played Quest Mode between that last announcement and the coming patch, you will get one set of rewards based on the stats of your highest-level character. If you have multiple lvl 40s, you will not get multiple piles of loot.
  18. That is actually not too surprising, and was likely intentional. Does someone in your party already have a Black Arrow Ranger? At Quest Tier 3, there is only one copy of that card in circulation. Despite the quest reward feeling like it should just summon a new card out of thin air, what actually seems to be going on behind the scenes is: - Filter through the quest vault for indicated card rewards, return one random card of those matches. - If no cards match search parameters, return a Blessing of the Gods. The quest mode rewards have been known to derp out from time to time, but your issue is likely the above.
  19. If you are just looking to find the names of the legendary treasure cards, you can view them in the Gallery (Options --> Gallery). Even if you don't have them, they are the "?" cards with the fine gold border. At last count, I think there are just under 40 Legendary Cards in circulation.
  20. Correct. Play Quest Mode now, and after it disappears in a coming patch, you'll get some goodies to remember it by.
  21. FYI, it looks like we may be temporarily without a weekly again. The valentine's weekly ended, and nothing appears to have taken it's place as of yet. The goblins that run the challenge system must have skipped town with some of that sweet PoE2 money and went on vacation. That has to be the most likely explanation, right?
  22. Try using a weapon anyway. At some point in the history of this app, Warchanter behavior changed from: Roll for wisdom upon encounter to Roll for wisdom only if you intend to use one of the prohibited card types If you try playing a weapon, it should prompt a wisdom check and then behave as expected.
  23. Correct. Despite "Unlocking Tier 4" when your character reaches Level 40, there is not a Tier 4 set of questing scenarios. Level 40 characters have just been playing Tier 3 quests over and over. The reason that you occasionally see some AD4 cards show up in play is that the Quest Decks and Adventure Decks aren't 100% in sync. The devs bumped a few cards up or down to add some balance or variety to the game. For example, there are 3 AD4 cards that should appear during Quest Tier 3 play: Chain Mail of Cold Resistance, Lizard, and Greater Luckstone.
  24. That's pretty curious. Game/character saves don't include specific information like card traits. Card traits should have been globally updated the next time you restarted after 1.1.6.4.2. Android, right? The only thing I can think is that the split load didn't go smoothly and the APK part updated fine, but you never got the new OBB file with the updated card database. It could also explain other weird loading problems if you have had them lately. Which version does it say you have in Options-->Settings? 809-20170214?
  25. Yes, it is intentional. The designers of the physical version of the game even confirmed it a few years back. [Rogue Ape is not an animal?] The Rogue Ape is more like a "Planet of the Apes" ape. As such, the creators of the game found him to be more of a sentient, intelligent ally, instead of just an animal.
