  1. I linked to the Ogrekin in case the root cause was the same, but thought it worth pointing out that it happened (a) in 1.1.3 and (b) with Dr Habe. Hopefully it's a general issue with Henchmen, but I've not noticed it before (and I've fought a lot of Henchmen and Encountered Dr Habe a lot too) so there must be some special circumstances that trigger the effect.

Ezren Discards Toxic Cloud, Valeros Reveals Frost Battleaxe +1, Lini Discards Blessing of Pharasma. Imagine my surprise when ​two​ D10 are added to the check! You can even tell they are from the BoP because they are Lini's colour. So I cancelled the BoP and played a different Blessing (the one for Barriers). When I came to take the second Combat Check, Lini Discarded BoP but this time only one D10 got added. Dr Habe was, however, the last card at the location so he was auto-defeated. But the Scenario Power Summoned Ancient Skeletons (the whole party was at the Farmhouse 'cos the Villain (CZ) was top card at the only other open Location). When the AC summoned for the first Character (Ezren) he immediately took 4 damage (I didn't notice the die roll happening). Good job I was able to exploit the Ring of Protection bug :D
  5. I recognise this issue, pretty sure that I've reported myself. Very annoying! There's always been issues with Legendary - in particular, some combos of wildcard just seem to combine badly. Sad to hear the bug isn't fixed in the latest patch as I reported it for an earlier patch.

Trigger: Spyglass Valeros used a Spyglass to find a Ghoul Scarecrow, didn't change the order and then used Smith to Encounter the GS, but the game completely locked up and required a kill/restart to recover (Vault round trip wasn't possible as game was locked up)

He chooses to Encounter the Spell, acquires it and then doesn't get his Arcane Enthusiasm(?). I guess that for some reason acquiring something with the Magic trait via the Detect Magic "Encounter" might not count as an Encounter. The text from his character sheet from the physical game says "When you acquire a card that has the Magic trait during your exploration, you may immediately explore again".

This time I went through the whole scenario without taking any Poison Damage as a result of defeating Undead. (Mind you, I took poison from Chain Mail and a Falling Bell!)

The only thing that I really captured 'cos it was all so confusing was that Lini took 1 point of non-combat damage.   11. This has been reported before (I've done so myself). It's not 100% of all situations and I've not managed to figure out what the trigger is. It's a shame that it didn't get fixed in 1.1.3
  12. The point that I'm trying to make is that Heroic should have a difficulty range of (arbitrary number scale here) 20-30, with Legendary being 31-40. At the moment it feels more like Heroic 20-30, Legendary 25-55. I'm happy with a high difficulty (otherwise I wouldn't countenance playing at Legendary), but I want a bit more predictability. I don't want to play on Legendary and have a cakewalk, neither do I want to know from the beginning of the scenario that I cannot possibly win. Variability is fine, but over a better controlled range. Currently it feels as though zero thought went into the scenario generator as it appears to be "pick one of those and two of those" with no thought for the balance of effect. +3 on Bane checks, +2D4 on Goblin/Undead, Bury most Boons gained isn't Legendary, it's Nightmare! IMO
  13. Every Blessing always provides at least one die to *any* check, so it's irrelevant what the Blessing was.
  14. I'm not a strong advocate of building new code on top of code that doesn't work properly, which is what Obsidian are doing (presumably at the behest of Paizo). I warned that the coloured dice "feature" would introduce bugs to an already shaky code base and that is exactly what happened. The same introduction of bugs by changing non- gameplay-related code has now been observed with the UI changes. All of this is bad. It's bad development practices, it's terrible project management and it's a bad experience the customer. How will OBS ever release AP4 if they're always tinkering with the base code? How will AP4 ever be regarded a quality release it is built on a poor foundation? OBS needs to knuckle down and fix the existing code base before they do anything new. I don't expect a bug free product, but I do expect major gameplay issues to be fixed. All that notwithstanding, I get it that you're done with the product, everyone has their limits (I've been close to mine several times, but I keep coming back because I enjoy the game despite the flawed implementation and because I want to help make it better). But I think that advocating a general boycott is going a bit far. Not that I expect that people will be following your advice. Why would they? I'd expect intelligent people to make up their own minds. Hopefully this patch will draw a line under the rush for new features in preparation for AP4 and the focus will be on fixing what is *currently* broken and building a stable AP4. Surely they can't risk delaying AP4 any further?

  16. I've noticed that there's no moderation of difficulty at Legendary/Heroic. It seems that the wildcards are randomly picked and are not affected by the scenario power or what other wildcard (if any) picked. This means that sometimes a Legendary is easier than some Heroics. It also means that some Legendary are significantly harder than others. Sometimes you can get a Legendary that is at the easy end (e.g. no pluses on Bane checks and no automatic damage taken) or a Heroic at the hard end (+ on Bane checks and + D4 Goblin/Undead), which seems harder than the Legendary. It would be really great if some moderation was used instead of complete random, so difficulty would be more (but not completely) predictable. It's there a list of wildcard and scenario powers that I can refer to in this sort of discussion?
  17. Awesome! First patch in a while that updated smoothly with no update process issues. Of course I've logged 6 bugs after the first scenario, but nothing game-breaking this time around, it's mostly related to the UI changes and dice visuals. Perhaps we're moving toward a stable code base! I hope so.
  18. What is the version number for the patch? I'm only showing 1.1.3 in Google Play. I'd expect it to show 1.1.3.1 or later.
  19. I think ferrisvalen means "can you see the cards that you have in your deck at the end of the scenario?". I often want to add a card feat for a type of card that I've just gained (e.g. find an armour that would suit Lini, add Armour as a card feat for Lini so she can keep it instead of a crappy Basic card) I know that the Gallery helps you see *new* cards that you've not found before, but it doesn't show what's in your decks and it doesn't show cards that you've had before but have found again in the last scenario. Knowing what you have in your decks after the scenario really helps decide on card feats. Or it would, if you could do it!

  21. Anyone seen this with Gale Armour? I have only played one scenario since the update to 1.1.3 and I've logged 6 bugs as a result, so I haven't got around to using Valeros's GA yet. It's goung to mess with my play style really badly if I lose the ability to move characters at the end of their turn!

But it's broken 1) It seems to be passive effects that are most broken - Valeros's D4 to others at the location never shows up in his colour *unless the check is for a summoned Bane*. 2) Only the most recently contributed dice is shown in the correct colour (so if two blessings are added, one by each of two of turn characters, only the most recently added shows in the correct colour) 3) Undoing a played card causes confusion. Location: General Store Trigger: Detect Magic I was having a nightmare vs. the Villain "CZ", what with the scenario power "villain checks +2 per Henchman" and CZ *always* restarting the check (anyone else get this on Legendary? He rolls a 1 or 2 *way* more often than 1/3, *way* more often). I had CZ trapped in the last open location and had about 8 Blessings in hand. But on Legendary there seems to be a bias toward low dice rolls (I expect to get at least half the dice to roll a 1 on a multiple dice check - and no, I do not get the compensating highest value), so Valeros failed to defeat CZ, then Lini failed, then Ezren failed. After Ezren failed (with a Fire Bolt at lvl 23!), he played DM and found CZ on the top of the deck (has anyone else noticed that the Bane shuffled back into the deck comes out next card more often than not - a real pain with a failed Barrier!)? Strangely, at this point I realised that the Location Deck was indicating that I could Explore (I hadn't been offered an "Encounter" button with the DM and besides, once you close the Location Deck dialogue, that's it anyway with any Scrying effects). So I Explored, Encountered CZ and on this attempt finally Defeated CZ!
