What if you ask Mandalore for his real name? He tells he has none. I think that if he would be Canderous his identity is known right from the start. With the screenshots they would give away to much if they'd shown his face.

These are the moments where I am glad that Lucasarts calls the shots and not the fan base.

To avoid misunderstandings better use comments next time making clear which person you addressed.
-
The person you are talking about is an ultimate master of the force and has accidentally lost his lightsaber in combat. Or he is unable to construct one.

That was 40 years ago in KOTOR Time. The New Mandalore from TOTJ left Dxun went back to his Sector with his Mandalorian Clans. The New Mandalore in KOTOR was Leading from Mandalorian Space. So no Mandalore on Dxun, unless FAKE Mandalore. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Mandalorian who has picked up Mandalore's mask on Dxun, is he really the same one who returned to his Sector? There could be two of them, one real and a FAKE...

If it is THE Mandalore, he'd better not be a joinable NPC until very late in the game. Otherwise it'd seem rather weird for him to be tagging along with "low level" characters. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The many lost wars could have made THE Mandalore a "low level" character as well. After the extinction of his people he grew lonely and therefore joins your party.

Perhaps you pick Mandalore in the jungle on Dxun. According to the TOJ comics some surviving Mandalorians holed up in the underwoods. And with them the new Mandalore.

OMG

I hope that unarmed combat will be viable only on Peragus where weapons are forbidden. Unarmed attacks on guys with lightsabers/blasters are even more absurd than swords vs. lightsabers/blasters.

"Screen Time for Flash" (ScreenTime Media) I don't know the product myself but Lucasarts has used it to create their KotOR2 screen savers.

Do you know whether the Kaminoan "Kyber Dart" can be used as ammo for an wrist mounted launcher?

The ship drops out of hyperspace as well when it goes astray. If the calculated course will be missed the board computer's security routines stop the ship to prevent crashes with stars and other space objects. This can be caused by a gravitation field which the nav computer didn't knew before. ps: all of this, of course, only applies to the physics of the Star Wars universe...

Kriea's Drawback: Spends most of the game as a Force Ghost! She can probably cause hostile Force powers directed against you to affect her instead, and this is how she will die. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This idea is not far fetched. IIRC it is said that she would also sacrifice herself for you if it is necessary.

Hey some of ur prayers may have been answered?
jedipodo replied to Ne'rou Karrik's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Imagine you cut a big artery by choping somebody's leg with a lightsaber. Does the artery cauterize immediately or do you think the blood is still flowing? ps: But I think our well known physics won't help much, last but not least because in our world a laser beam doesn't have a definite length. -
Let's say MSx from now on. :D

No, no, the Balance of the force doesn't mean a balance of Light and Dark, it means there is no Darkside, the Sith and the Darkside throw the force out of balance.....becuase at first there was the Jedi, who used to force to protect, then Jedi started leaving and etc. and the Sith was born (once they found Korriban and the original Sith Race) And then the force was thrown out of balance.... (...) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, this must have been the Jedi Council's take on the prophecy of the Chosen One. Well, why should any Jedi want a balance if it involves the death of the Order? They knew about their weakness to use the force at that time (EpII). That's their interpretation of imbalance.

The last 20 pages contain vast numbers of ideas getting less attention. There are numerous topics/posts/replies which have been totally ignored. It is near to impossible to say what he is referring to. But his statement implies that some of the ideas accepted so far by the majority are wrong.
-
So now all we have to do is look at all the threads with ideas in them and see which ones the devs have ignored and we can piece the story together like a puzzle. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think he meant the ideas ignored by the forum users rather than by the devs. An example: "MSG is a female". No one wants to hear about that.

Anyone ever imagined that it could be the new look of the armours in TSL?

I think they have added diverse force powers (with up to three stages of expansion each) to the game. And some of these powers may be bound to a minimum level of 20 or 25. This could make the player to have a wider force knowledge than it was necessary/possible in KotOR1. It would make much sense because it is uncommon that a force user is a master of Force Storm/Lightning and doesn't know how to fend of a force attack or to use another elementary force power. Force Sight, Battle Meditation and Force Clairvoyance i.e. could be very useful force powers. Maybe a Consular will be the only one who has enough points left to learn all of them and not only one. But at that time we can't decide about how useful the Consular class will be. I think the devs have done a good job balancing their new class and force power system.

Sith Lords Searching For You?
jedipodo replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
That can't be the sole reason. I don't believe the existence of one lone Jedi would make a difference in the grand scheme of things, especially when the Sith have control of the universe. There must be a reason why they fear you enough to make them seek you out. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, I agree, there must be something more. And there also has to be be a reason or event why they know about you. I mean your character has been in exile for a very long time. And you forgot to use the force so there wouldn't be any "vibrations" of the force. If they believe all the other Jedi to be dead then why not you. -
Well, we can't take credit for K1, we didn't develop it. (...) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think Nur Ab Sal had some sort of black-out. By "Avellone & Co." he obviously meant Bioware.

Darth Revan vs Darth Vader
jedipodo replied to KOTORFanactic's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
okay luke does defeat vader but hey lukes no weakling and if you say that you will be torn to shreds by everyone. im more interested in your criticism of vaders speed, firstly you quote his age, here i say look at dooku, he was close to vaders age when he battled yoda. secondly the suit, i take it you didnt notice jango fett wearing a suit, but hey he wasnt cumbersome he was quite acrobatic, then take a look at boba, same sort of costume just much slower, why: TECHNOLOY USED IN FILM MAKING. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's true. Jango Fett in action is CGI. Boba Fett is an actor in a suit.
