  1. Way to secure something... what if I "accidentily" slipped that database code to laods of friends?
  2. Always fun to exploit that to murder without penalty
  3. AI: There is a fence. There is a BIG opening You can easily go through the opening. You proceed through the opening Oblivion AI: There is a fence. There is a BIG opening You can easily go through the opening. You make pretty sure you and horse meet the fence just next to the opening! You proceed 3 minutes trying to get your horse over the fence (good thing the AI cheats with flying horses or it would be more) When you finnally get over the fence you turn around and go through the opening back You let the horse walk 360 degrees circles. Finnally, you get off and walk back to the city, leaving your horse in the middle of nowhere... AI: You hit a sign. You walk around it Oblivion AI: You hit a sign You moonwalk it for 2 minutes straight untill the cheating AI-defense makes the sign go "non-solid" and allows you to pass
  4. Most likely because you don't meet AI or physics :D
  5. On the bugs front: LOADS of issues on the AI, physics (who are basically... broken; with all the flying stuff 24/7) and Quest-front... Altough most of this IS minor and only causes immersion breaking and funny occassions For the major issues... largely dependant on your system. Overheating or any other issues (directX, drivers etc.) will be punished SEVERLY. Only had a few rare CTD's (nothing to worry about) and 2 Blue Screens of Death (needing special req. almost never met...) so it is also pretty quite there. Ofcourse I haven't logged in that many hours yet
  6. No lines for Kaah are available (voiced...) so a whole new voice-actor (like TSLRP does) could be an option. I personnally prefer English to bablish (Twi'lek). And to answer GreasydogMeat's questions: The TLK file can be opened with Wordpad. The voice files can be listened with WinAmp after you made them *.mp3. They are also available for download (selfmade, not that high of a quality); search for compilation in the spoilers section and find the wav-compilation thread... (damn loss of my sig with the links... )
  7. Atleast the manual is better than the ingame help Long live forums...
  8. Alts are allowed unless used for misschief (last time I checked)
  9. His CARD can support OpenGL 1.4 if he updates his drivers. Speaking from experience here... when my GeForce2 GTS got from OpenGL 1.2 (delivered with the card) to 2.0 (most recent at that moment) after a driver update... (and seeing his card is 128MB he is above min. system req when he upgrades his card (via drivers) to use OpenGL 1.4 or more...)
  10. Breakdown of a soon-to-be-follower Dispite how un-nice people are toward you, you have to be nice to them. Failure to do so result in complaints at the Green Dragon's Desk... Or so experience tells me Stuff like this is "bye bye" Stuff like this is "bye bye" And now I agree with Nick and Llyranor (for this time) that after 83 pages a Part II may be welcomed... Edit; sig returned...
  11. The fact she is killable on the SF?
  12. 1. Doesn't matter... As long as other posters think it up as hostile. The "I don't do/say X because you are a mod" stuff are some bad omens... " 2. Guess that could be it 3. Because it IS fun... 3.2 I like hunting bugs and than whine about it to the QA-squad; kind of a hobby 3.3 See 3.2 3.4 Probably also part of it, yes... End of list comment reply; The bugs don't bug me... I love 'em. I also love bugging the people who should have kept that stuff out... Oblivion/SS is such a nice and easy target for this...
  13. Just a word of warning metadigital, you are awefully close to the path of self-destruction that costed me my mod-ship... And your sig doesn't work... not even with all add-blocks etc. turned off On Oblivion-front: Haven't been able to play since last time
  14. Bastila, A Carth in woman skin... One whining is awfull according to all the people The other whining the same whine is highly enrousing... LOGIC LOST... [statement]Silly meatbags
  15. Ehm, I do think the card is good enough; as the Config just gives warning instead of FAIL like it should with an incompatable card. Pixel/Vertex shaders are also NOT required to run Kotor2 (this isn't DX:IW) so the only issue is the outdated OpenGL-version, most likely fixed in the drivers given And how did you get 1.2 as version idea if the newest is Version - 16.94.44.50 from 04 April 2006
  16. Advetures in the city of the (Dead) lost Painter; Playtime for all this stuff to happen: 1.5 hour Bethesda ever heard of letting some "random guys with NDA's" just play it and report this stuff (ya know, for free, as they get to play it soon)? And if you are *really* into secrecy just use relatives of the staff... easy to find and kill if anything goes wrong
  17. You'll need these drivers (K8M800); http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?PageI...60&SubCatID=109 New video-cards can be bought at computerstores... (watch out though since you have an AGP-system!)
  18. 1.0B of Kotor2 won't help you if your current cards drivers does not support the running of the OpenGL-version Kotor2 needs. Since the card passes (with a warning though; so barely) your card should be able to run Kotor2 once you have gotten the correct drivers for the thing... Just run WinS3ID.EXE, and tell what it tells you, if you cannot use it yourself to figure the correct drivers...
  19. Site: The S3 one. Hold your mouse over Drivers and click Chrome- IGP (since it seem that's what you have) Now select Windows XP Select Integrated Graphics Then select the drivers of the card needed. From your post I cannot figure what the exact ones you need are, but S3 has some tools to figure that out here (select the WinS3ID.EXE download) And a list here (that you hopefully not need...)
  20. Q. I am at the Telos Academy. Instead of being locked up my teammates stand behind me and they talk about a Cheat Node A. This following issue has been caused by the 1.0B bug. There are 4 known sollutions to fix this issue 1. When entering the Academy first ask who they are before dropping your weapons. The immediate dropping causes this bug... 2. Re-install Kotor2 without 1.0B 3. Download a fix here... 4. (thanks to Darth333 for this sollution) If you have no savegame handy from before the issue (your latest is inside the academy) only this one can help: 4. Thanks to Darth333 for this 4th option. This one can come in handy if you haven't got a savegame from before the Academy, or that one is too far away from your current position The solution requires to set the global variable 262TEL_Atton_Talk" to 1 with KSE. The latest version of KSE is available here: (people who have the non-english version of windows have to download KSEa instead of KSE). It's very easy to do and it takes no more than one minute. Here's a screenie of what it looks like
  21. Yup. Driver issue (GL status). Looking at your card drivers can be found on http://www.s3graphics.com or http://www.via.com.tw
  22. Use Start- Uitvoeren and type DXDIAG. Browse all the tabs and report any troubles given there to us... Also update your drivers... When running Kotor2 in the start screen still press configure, scan hardware, ja, details, save the report and post the content of that report here...
  23. But Bethesda CAN make memoriable characters. Who doesn't remember Fargoth from Morrowind
  24. Kaah has no voice-files as far as I know... If he has they are not to be found in the M4-78 directory (where both IS24 and Vash have their convo in threesome) And Vash mentions that Kaah is dead during that speech (with the "he couldn't feel me anymore")...
  25. Just your avarage report to microsoft error. Would be helpfull if you gave some more info on where you get this... because these types of errors can be caused by 100x10^999 different things...
