  1. You are supposed to play them online, you know "
  2. Hundred auto-saves Something went screwy there...you can only have 1 auto-save And what do you mean with "recorded games"?
  3. These guys never heard of "downloading" <_< ... damn not even "save target" works... Guess that'll be (even if it rocks) a one-time view. Bye bye drooling (if it is good) Anyways...loading...loading...even more loading EDIT; Ah well it sucks. And not even one bit ingame footage. *starts going back drooling over major SupCom battles and nukes*
  4. Interested in getting a console? " Or is PS3/X-Box 360/Wii even more difficult than AMD>Intel? " If they do that expect a flood of spammers trying to get to lvl 10. Think "Other Games" [/Off-topic] That the system specs. They look pretty low to me... Please take up any moderating issues via PM.
  5. There has been ALOT of cutting in DX. Despite that it has been great; UNATCO storyline Female JC Moon base White House mission etc. etc. etc.
  6. Savegames aren't that big either (5MB a piece or so). Each save contains 5 files (1 an image indeed) Then in Nero just choose create data-DVD and I guess all should come well (don't use Nero, so cannot help there)...
  7. Another question; Reading up an old review I noted how there was mention how due to the use of the Infinity engine (painted backgrounds) PS:T could be made how it could never be made with an engine that actually uses 3D backgrounds. Also in the earlier days of PS:T one could get away with a "she kneels down, close her eyes and starts to pray" line; while in these days you have to actually show it...taking it far longer to create an actual scene. So here is the actual question: Do the modern graphical engines and graphical expectations disallow you from putting as much creativity as you wanted into a game? (both in term of actual scenes as the using of creative maps/chars/weaponry etc.)
  8. [Query:] With the influence system (in Kotor2) alot of people instead of just roleplaying the system started to meta-game the system in order to get the most background/XP/bonusses from them and to "jedify" them as fast as possible. Is there any alteration done to the NWN2 Influence system to have people more focus on the roleplaying aspect of the influence system or is meta-gaming the system not seen as flaw and still included to do?
  9. What program do you use? Have you used it (succesfully) before?
  10. Yeah, it is not like they have been in the temple themselves and saw it... " Hmmm, maybe because they were planned to go home afterwards, not on another mission. And why would a cruel evil guy leave his guy alive to be tortured by the people they attacked... hmmm, no idea? PS. Nice Avatar Musopticon!
  11. Well, the X-Box has a hard-disk where it can try to find such info... But then there probably will be an issue if K3 is for the 360...
  12. Nope...not happened... Scary ain't it... and also a bit ironic...
  13. Easiest would be if a "possible" K3 would just find if you have Kotor1 and 2 installed and then allows you to pick the Revan and Exile from your savegames... " Then alignment/stats/looks/etc. all match, there just has to be ingame support to make the NPC's also understand what your chars are and they properly respond on that... (thus the lines should be there for every possibilty)
  14. But that was not the original wish, was it... and that original wish (branching lines) was was opted for adventure games as Fahrenheit; but just not use-able... (as apparently the now used method of pseudo-freedom like you describe is not good enough for some people to replay...)
  15. Prob 23-24 in age. You got the yound kids and the old vets. On loads of occassions (*cough*Hades*cough*) the older folks act less mature than the kids do; so mentally it would be around the age of 16... Same here... no doubt the main reason so many actually never get the point I try to make...
  16. Hmmm, most "spammers" find themselves with a PPD of around 10. For some odd reasons the mods have the highest PPD. Number #1 is definitely DR with a PPD of 64 . Now who are the spammers, eh? " It even attracted the Devs to flame him ! Good times indeed...
  17. Yup... unless you have a beta-version of the TSLRP (no, no, not jealous or something, no sir! )
  18. Restart? Do you mean Format? And ofcourse you can burn savegames onto a disk, just burn the content of (Default) C:/program files/lucas arts/kotor2/saves with the burn-program of your choosing...
  19. Damn the fact we have 3 threads talking about the exactly same thing... There is even a worse part than these 2. The cutting of things without re-adding where the costumer can notice the cutting. So in order of being worse (lease worse on top): 1. Just cutting it. If that happens without a dev. EVER noticing it would be ingame it causes no damage to anyone. Afterall we didn't know about it; so how could we complain? 2. Cut it and then offer it later. Face it; Folks don't like to get incomplete games. Even if they get the content later they rather have it right away. And who blames them? The longer it takes the more annoyed costumers get too and that isn't good for buisness... 3. Cut it and leave it noticable ingame (patch version). Worst a dev can have is actual cutting being visible ingame. Everybody cuts content out of there game but when you hide it really bad people expect to actually get it. If there are loads of hints to Factory X people expect to get there and finish that storyline. Patching it up helps to heal the wounds a bit but severe damage is already caused. 4. Cut it and leave it noticable ingame (non-patched version). Well, you cannot get any worser than this. Costumers notice missing stuff and not getting what they deem they deserved won't make for happy costumers. See the Kotor2 forums in May for example. Lockdown of the entire forums announcement and stuff remember? <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  20. *cough*Third post of the thread*cough*
  21. Hmmm, OE-devs on E3 have stated NWN1 and NWN2 are MP-RPG's. That's right Multiplayer Role Playing Games. Meant for Online Gameplay. So I love all your guys "It's all about the SP being playable" but even the devs don't think that is the most important stuff. Hell, it is not the seller point! SCRAP IT! We hate your relentless optimism on this and the easyness at which you accept that OE screwed up as much as you guys hate our wish that games are shipped when done and work for all people right out of the box like they want. Unless one group stops (or dies or whatever) discussion will continue...
  22. Alot of demo's are produced near the final shipping or short after... very few would use "early version" as an excuse atleast. And no, most demo's are not like that. Most are level 1 or part of the begin or whatever and therefore totally not the best part of the game (Fahrenheit, BG2, Freelancer, DS2, Rogue Spear are just a few examples)
  23. Like buying stuff to make your stripped down version fully functional for gaming
  24. Hmmm, how would one test a game without shelling $50,- nor getting the full copy for free (cfr. Piracy)... Hmm, difficult... very difficult. It is so difficult I nearly base all my game buying stuff on these things... DEMO'S
