  1. So you're just going to ignore the question about missing out on level rewards when dying? This has been addressed in other threads as a bug and is being fixed. Then why hasn't it been added to the known issues list? http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/86273-updated-known-issues-and-some-possible-fixes/ - If a character dies in a scenario, they will not get rewards on a subsequent playthrough. Potential Workaround: If a character dies, forfeit the scenario Please check the official known issues thread regularly, it is updated as issues are confirmed.

  3. I'll look into it, depending on the level and number and type of banes defeated it maybe it was barely moving. You have to defeat, not evade, the banes to gain XP for them.
  4. Quest mode's deck box is curated differently then Story Mode or the Physical card game. You will run into some cards sooner (such as Deck 1 cards in Tier B), and some later (Deck 1 in Tier 2) then you would in Story Mode. Right now some of the variables need to be re-worked for a better level and difficulty balance, you should notice a difference as more decks and patches are released.
  5. The story mode works like the board game. Once you played through the story mode you are supposed, just like in the board game, to start over with a new group, to try out different stuff for fun. Most video games don't work like that, but rather offer constant progression. The point of quest mode is to make Pathfinder Adventures work more like a video game. Correct, story mode is like the physical game with added narrative elements while Quest Mode provides extended game play through randomly generated scenarios.
  6. Story Mode and Quest mode have separate characters. Think of it as 2 games in one!
  7. XP is awarded for defeating banes even if the party does not successfully complete the scenario. An XP reward is given to completing the scenario successfully. Adjustments to bring larger party XP in line with smaller party XP are being made.
  8. To answer OP: Sort of, like in the physical game, locations have their deck list, these are Static Values. HOWEVER The game treats each card as a unique instance of a card (same as the physical game) so the more Smiths you have the more likely it is to turn up!
  9. Having to hit level 20 to unlock Deck 1 boons (so levels 1-19 are just deck B and 20-30 is deck 1 and 2) doesn't sound bugged to you? I don't see why it wouldn't be 1-10 deck b 11-20 deck 1 21-30 deck 2 And at level 12 I'm not seeing a single deck 1 boon. That's either a bug or a decision that needs some serious re thought, especially since it takes like 3 missions to level up past level 10. Having to run 30+ missions to get to the deck 1 boons isn't my kind of fun. I just checked the deck boxes, can you guys give me examples of what you guys are seeing? It might be something else but without more details (Specific cards etc) its a bit difficult to tell.
  10. It is, It will continue to show up as 1.00 until we push 1.03. The labeling was an oversight but, as long as it does not say "out of date" in your Android updater it is up-to-date.
  11. Heroic has a very specific use in the Pathfinder universe in relation to items. Legendary is a generic enough term for super, duper, difficult to beat/acquire that it works well for it. I'll look into the tutorial portions related to this, it should be explained more explicitly.
  12. Welp that backfired. I would probably be the one to test if those features actually worked... The rage online would be real if you died in Supreme Iron Man Permadeath Mode and a bug sent the assassin squad to your neighbors house instead... "THIS is what $25 gets me? You guys send the assassins over to someone else's house instead of mine? Fix this bug NOAW! 1/10" I tried for this, Nathan said we don't have the insurance for it
  13. I don't know if I'd need eye-bleach or popcorn for this.
  14. I can confirm we're not skewing them, at several points in time I have had to physically go into the editor and check to make sure nothing was somehow spilling over that could cause it. There has been at least one incident where Stormbringer's usually consistent terrible rolling was a good test case and then some how he rolled a different kind of terrible when I needed the other way...
  15. You can get cards for future decks! And in answer to another question: yes the Gold border is Legendary
  16. True Story: My dad called me because his friend noticed a bug...while playing in an important meeting.
  17. This is how I am going to refer to that from now on. Alpha Strike.... We love doing that in our Lunch of Righteousness games, I forgot what the record is, but I'm pretty sure Nathan holds it. And now you know why I take FOREVER on my turns during that game... That being said, we'll look into some possibility of making temp closures more obvious.
  18. While there is some duplication to be expected we'll be adding more variety to the drop tables. Speaking of drops anyone gotten any legendary cards yet?
  19. It will be up by tomorrow, that is the closest ETA we can give at the moment.
  20. There is a great saying on the internet: Source, if you/they didn't hear it from us don't trust it until we say something! We'll keep you all updated with accurate info but, we're not going to jump the gun if we're not 100% sure. We like you guys, we'd rather be 100% sure when we say something rather then less then 100% sure. Seriously, would be worse if we didn't confirm it was going to be changed to the 28th and then suddenly it's up on the 26th!
