  1. You know those explosive shuriken and multi-rocket launchers? You get those in chapter 1 on Mentor >
  2. Well, at least there the burning ninja castle didn't have awkward archery battles with awful awful NGB controls against tanks and helicopters.
  3. Whoa, for a moment there I thought Gabrielle came back from the dead.
  4. Yeah man, no one's calling you stupid. You don't have to be so paranoid.
  5. Apparently the camera is being worked on. Though I never really had any major issues with it once I started using the camera reset semi-regularly. I wouldn't mind if they rebalanced the harder difficulties with respect to projectile spam.
  6. I guess it's all relative.
  7. I guess that's a fair point that constantly hitting but doing very little damage with a gun would feel pretty unrewarding. However, as Crashdude says, it's certainly less disruptive than affecting accuracy. Guess there'll be a sense of progression either way.
  8. That's pretty funny, because in reality Carth is an interesting, well-developed character.
  9. It has Dragonball graphics, though.
  10. Looks like they're finally patching R2. Releases March 26th. - 2P retains xp gains now for splitscreen - Superhuman co-op mode; harder difficulty, no auto-respawns, and bonus XP There'll also be a map pack, though I'm not sure what that actually entails. It's 6 bucks, but I'm not necessarily sold on it, since it'll probably be primarily PvP maps.
  11. Ninja Blade does NOT look cool, stop smoking that Hades. I'll probably double-dip here for the online co-op.
  12. More mature than you, obviously.
  13. FF6 is likely my favorite FF, and I think I'd probably recommend it over CT.
  14. Shooting mechanics not based on stats should make the core shooter gameplay more solid, at the very least.
  15. I'm hoping ME2 will have interesting, well-developed characters, personally.
  16. Square-Enix DS games tend to have a 'tax' that makes them cost a bit more than other DS titles. They'll drop.
  17. CT's combat has very good pacing and involves zero grinding.
  18. Well, yeah, I'd say CT as well. Hope you like silent protagonists!
  19. Yeah, really looking forward to that one. Hopefully they won't try to shoehorn traditional JRPG conventions into it just for the sake of it.
  20. Actually, if you are going to pick your game *solely* based on gameplay, I'd also recommend sticking with Last Remnant.
  21. Metroid Claw isn't just a term to say that Metroid Prime Hunters is cool D: If you want to get into FF: - FF4 if you want a more traditional JRPG. Standard 'active time battle' system. - FFTA2 for a SRPG. So, 'deeper' turn-based system, with movement and positioning playing bigger roles, and a job system that allows you to really customize your party members. I'm not sure how much you'd dig the 'kiddy' story, though.
  22. Well, the thing is that you get time to think while the other person is still talking to you. I don't think Obs would want there to be a large pause between that and your response.
  23. Hurlshot is such an ADHD gamer.
  24. Yeah, I found the demo of the Witcher to have pretty meh gameplay, so never bothered with the full game. I'm actually hoping the console version will successfully turn into a proper action RPG, since they're revamping the gameplay, while retaining all the story crap.
  25. In dog years, yeah.
