They have this bizarre, addictive nature like a drug!!! I remember swearing that I'd never buy an MMO, but the WoW beta sucked me in....where no other beta has. I had no problems with Guild Wars since it's not pay to play.

On topic: I can actually thank a game called Uprising for finally teaching me how to properly play an FPS on the PC. It was the first game with a first person perspective that forced me to use the mouse to look.

Someone asked me about my avatar, so I explained it. I also went on to say that at one point, I had mad GoldenEye skills, but now I'm a bumbling fool in console FPS games. I guess it wasn't perfectly clear, but it's because of the control scheme.

Mostly I was just bored. But it helps me pick out my posts when I scroll down like a maniac as well, so I guess it is functional. Perhaps it is a gesture towards my younger years, when I probably was that skinny.

I remember the first time I caught a filing cabinet fired at me with my grav gun, and fired it back and killed my attacker. Gold! And I got chills just REMEMBERING that scene in Call of Duty with Red Square. It was cool, because you had overrun the German positions, and you were only bumping into some token resistance before continuing your push. Then the guy gets up there with the flag......<shiver>

I'll admit that I often attribute a sex to someone based on their avatar as well. But I guess it doesn't mean anything. I'm not a stickman with a big "ME" beside me all the time But it was my creation, and I it nonetheless. Plus it helped me find my posts, and I figured after a year-plus with no avatar, perhaps I should finally join the club.

I really enjoyed Final Fantasy Tactics. It's like a neat game of chess, vying for position and getting the chokepoints and all that.

Odd, considering you certainly don't stray from the definition of a bigot, which is someone that is essentially intolerant of any opinions differing from their own. I've lost track of how many times you've flat out called people names and simply "Wrong" because their opinion didn't match yours.

Which is why I also think tutorials should be skippable. A tutorial that is 'Push X, push Y, blah" is less interesting though.

If he's against the draft policies, then why even enter the Draft? Being on a solid line facing defensive lines that don't look to score can do that. Professional sports is not like any other business. Concessions are made for parity and competition. Which is why goofy things like the draft exist. He knew full well what the draft was like prior to joining the NHL. Odd that many players that are better than him didn't partake in the same actions that he did.

I would say the impact of market-size only matters, given many other variables are already present and accomodating.
