As long as they can find a way to limit the exploitation of the use system, I'm sure I could support it. I don't want people casting "light" simply for the sake of getting Fire Magic points or something. Although I hear the Fable implementation wasn't too bad.

One thing I was hoping about the consoles (particularly the XBox) is that people would push the envelope a bit more for games graphics wise, so that those with phat hardware could play it on the PC, and those that didn't want to shell out the bling could still play it on the XBox. It hasn't happened to the extent that I wanted, but I do think that games like Chaos Theory look really, really nice.

What would it take to be in a Fanout project? What sort of tools and stuff are there for modding the game and whatnot?

Nay, it would be so great it would be the game by which all others would be judged! Hmmm...as much as I am a fan of choice....I do think there are inherent constraints that should be recognized.

6800 Ultras are out now though aren't they? I wonder what will be out when the consoles finally arrive. Plus, it'd just be silly for them to not find ways to take this uber technology and make it work in a PC box. Especially when there are wackos that don't mind spending $1200 on an SLI PCI-e system so that he can get 400 FPS instead of 380 FPS.

I was disappointed to hear it wasn't at E3. Although perhaps this means they want to just work on the game rather than building up hype for a game that could be delayed again. Sounds like a neat idea, and I like how it's plans are to support 64-bit archetictures out of the box. EDIT: F.E.A.R. also looks cool too! Acronym games for teh win!

One of the jokes that humans say in WoW if you type in "/silly" is great. It's a bit paraphrased, but it goes something like this:

That is actually a good idea. More substance. It's probably why I also liked the dude that made the Dreamcatcher series (and the series that preceded it). I think the big problem with romances is that, given the short duration of the game, they can't really be any more than some goofy infatuations.....which actually is probably why so many people like them <_<
