  1. The System Shock games were some of the coolest stories I have ever experienced in a video game. I have high hopes that Bioshock will deliver in that regard. Though I'm sure Bioshock will have stats as well Morgoth And you play through the game (much like Deus Ex, SS2) based on the choices you have made with said stats. There was a cool article about it in the latest PC Gamer too.
  2. Wait a minute...you're still a teenager? How old are you? EDIT: I see you're 15. It might be a bit early to claim you truly are asexual. Especially if you're starting to have some sexual curiosity.
  3. I have the Radeon X1900 XTX and it's been very good for me. And it has 3 X's in it....that's like the eXtreme eXtreme XTREEEM edition.
  4. That helps kill everyone around you... So? People driving like maniacs help kill people around them as well. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's why driving like a maniac is illegal...at least in the US. Those taxi's in Mexico are another story. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> To an extent yes. But you can get away with an awful lot, while still being within the confines of the law. Heck, do you see the police cracking down on tailgating, which is actually a pretty significant cause of traffic accidents? I'm sure most drivers all obey the two-second rule where you live. I wouldn't consider a maniac driver as being someone that is breaking road laws. Heck, every time you change lanes you increase the chances of an accident happening. Or perhaps you could look at the act of driving cars period. There are people that find gas emissions exceptionally irritating. I'm betting that hanging around cities that have frequent smog warnings is as bad for one's health as second hand smoke is (especially if you already suffer from breathing conditions). Any motions to outlaw fossil fuel emissions in the near future?
  5. It's not baiting. It's taking Hades' application to working and seeing how it applies to reality.

  7. You essentially said that it's an attempt by men to control the reproductive organs of women. How does this explain the women that want abortion made illegal? This all started because you are curious why people think that they can tell someone what they can and cannot do to their own body. Is it so fantastic to think that just maybe some of these people feel it includes more than the woman's body. As for a case by case basis, there are many "pro-lifers" that understand that there may be situations that call for an abortion. A great many of them are willing to allow abortions in these situations. Why do you think it should be handled on a case by case basis. Your argument seems to be indicating that you should allow it, no questions asked. What's the point of looking at it on a case by case basis, when you seem quite adamant that it's the woman's body and what she wants to do with it she can. I don't understand the need for a case by case basis.
  8. Who said it crashes? By Hades' definition though, virtually no piece of software is working.
  9. I'd put linearity way down on a list of what makes a story lame.
  10. Ahhh, the dddooo doooo - DOOO dooooo
  11. Then stop talking as if you have any idea about what it's like to develop software.
  12. Really? I don't remember hearing him say anything like that.
  13. I always figured it was a play on Biosphere, which is why I enjoyed the name.
  14. The issue with PNJ I think was the lack of a publisher. Might as well work on something that has the funding (Sega project)
  15. The word tech brings KOTOR 2 questions! And probably NWN2 questions!
  16. My boss wholeheartedly agrees. In fact, in a discussion with him, he feels that AI won't truly get a fair break unless a dedicated card and API is created. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm still not convinced on the benefits of AI middleware, but I've only ever coded AI first hand, have you used any middleware? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nope. The benefits, like the benefits of a graphics card, is that it frees up resources. People use the CPU for other things, and in the end, AI usually ends up getting the shortend of the stick.
  17. Is it the beep of the 24 logo coming on the screen at the beginning?
  18. What about women that are against abortion?
  19. Ah. Okay thanks for clearing that up
  20. Go Skeeter's Junkyard. I'd take this time to state that I am Skeeter's Junkyard's campaign manager, and am willing to field andy questsions about its awesomness
