That is was, although it was sort of obvious in retrospect - but then, I guess a lot of games have been made into movies lately (id est Hitman, Dungeons and Dragons, and Dungeon Siege).

28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later - they both make me want to play Left 4 Dead.

Well, those were less impressive than I thought they were going to be - but neither were they a complete disappointment. The focus of the shots was, obviously, both the infiltration of locations and the avoiding of hostile forces - although the latter seems to also be tainted by a focus on the prospects of engaging the aforementioned hostiles. I would have liked to have seen the more clandestine aspects of the game, but that might not have appealed to the main console target audience.

Whenever you start a new character, it pushes the saves from the older one to a different page - there should be a button labeled "next," or something similar, that will bring those up.

The Kot0R II no-cd crack -most likely a hacked .exe- is not supported for obvious reasons - nor are most cracks.

Did you mean Robert Kennedy, or was there an assassination attempt on Ted that I do not know about?

Are you sure that the other forums log the IP addresses and check them against the last one used? I believe this feature might have been a modification Obsidian built into their system - but I am not certain. Also, you might want to try Firefox or Internet Explorer to make sure it is not a problem with Opera - as I do not know if that browser is supported by the forum.

I think they are legal if you own a copy - the same as ROMs.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling - this time without the crack. If it still does not run, then we know there is another issue - if it does we know it was most likely the crack.

How do you like Hellgate? I've heard that most people, even those with super rigs, are having problems running it.

This might seem like a stupid question, but are you sure you did not pause the game? I am not implying that you are stupid, but that would be the most obvious answer. Try un-upgrading, as I often find that older games do not like the newer drivers - although the more resent games often do. Try running Kot0R II on only one of your cores, that might fix the game.

Do you know if you are using a dynamic IP address? If so, that might be the problem - the forum asks you to log in every time the IP changes. Also, make sure you have cleaned out your old cookies, sometimes there is a bug if you have too many, and have your browser set to accept and remember them.

I had fun critiquing some people's microbiology presentations today - bloody fools who picked malaria botched the job and provided the night's entertainment. The Yellow Fever group also did a horrendous job - didn't even bother to remember the name of A. aegypti or the ultimate sacrifice made by Jesse Lazear.

I feel outclassed - as I just use a ten-dollar pair of Skullcandy earbuds I got on sale (They're normally twenty-to-thirty) or an old set of iPod earbuds.

It sounds like the games might have problems with one or more of your drivers, or you might have the bug I talked about in my other posting.

I do not know about Half Life 2, but Oblivion has a problem exactly like the one you are describing after being patched up to version 1.2. If you are using that, the problem with Oblivion is most likely linked to it. You should also try disabling any mods you might be using, as bad, or incorrectly installed, modification could also cause the black-screen. Videocard drivers are another thing you should check.

I feel your pain...

I've had more problems with newer drivers on both XP and Vista, than with Vista itself when it came to compatibility.
