  1. That was actually a damn good game. I kind of wish Bio had kept with that franchise. Please no , don't. I wouldn't want anyone currently on BioWare's staff working on the Jade Empire franchise. They've already ruined Dragon Age and did their best to ruin Mass Effect. I hope they leave JE be.
  2. Browns: Pray . . . for . . . Momo. Anybody who actually gets that reference wins sitcom nerd of the year.
  3. My Jets won and the Bills and Pats lost, not only that but my Sooners won the big XII. An excellent weekend.
  4. I very much disagree. Bayonetta 2, Mario Kart 8, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Super Smash Bros., and Shadow of Mordor were all awesome games. Bayonetta 2 was my personal GotY for 2014, that's a 10/10 game IMHO, freakin' amazing. Heck, Bayonetta 2 is my current frontrunner for Game of the Decade, it is the spectacle fighter perfected. I didn't say there weren't any good games, but buy and large it was a disappointing year for RPGs (which is about the only genre of games I really play). Destiny and Elder Scrolls Online both suffering due to being online games rather than single player offline, and DAI was alright but not great.
  5. That's because the game is slightly better than average. After DA2 and ME3 the expectations for DAI were low. Many were pleasantly surprised that it was okay. It ended up winning a few GOY awards because 2014 was a really bad year for AAA gaming.
  6. Ten game into the season and the Jets are 5-5. This is great . Yeah, that's right, team, make my .500 at best prediction a reality. :'(
  7. If it's turn based with interactive environment like Divinity Original Sin, I'm all for it.
  8. I thought Joseph Randle looked great (or at least ten times the runningback McFadden is) before he got the boot.
  9. I also wanted more quests in Oxenfurt, if only so I could run into some witch hunters. It would've been fun to be able to wipe out their base of operations.
  10. I do not quite understand how that'd help me any, unless you mean "keep the monster nests alive, keep killing infinite monsters for XP", or White Orchard has some bug where monster nests come back even after exploding and looting them. Anyway, wow, Skellige main quest chain in Act 1 is super short, did not remember that from my first time. Really, the banquet was the longest bit. Now back to rushing through Velen main quests. The actual nests respawn after a week of game time, and blowing one up grants you 20XP. You can walk over to a nest, kill the monsters, blow up the nest, gain 20XP, meditate to pass seven days, and then blow it up again. Continue until you run out of alcohol, go buy some more, etc.
  11. I'm not a Cowboys fan but because I live near Texas I get all their games locally televised. Seems like since Romo went down every week the Boys find new and interesting ways to lose.
  12. Unless CDproject changed something in the most recent patch, you should be able to grind on monster nests in White Orchard. The gold rings you get when looting the nests are enough to cover the cost of alcohol for bombs. The hard part is all your equipment and alchemy still sucks.
  13. As a Jets fan, I approve this message.
  14. It's become more and more prevalent in resent years for wide receivers to push off the back of a DB to slow their own momentum to catch jump balls. In retaliation, many DBs try to reach out to gab onto the wideouts in order to maintain the spot they had been previously occupying and get called for pass interference. I almost never see a WR get called for doing this (when there is no retaliation) when it is, by both the letter and spirit of the rule, offensive pass interference.
  15. Is it just me, or is there some really bad games on that list?
  16. The Jets win a game after consecutive loses. Next is Buffalo on Thursday night (I hate Thursday night games). On a side note, watched three nationally televised games yesterday. Is it just me or do wide receivers get away with some pass interference? I WRs boxing out DBs on the goal line (which a defender would definitely get called for) or Greg Olson's "push a DB into me to get a call" act. Defensive players are being held to a double standard. I wish the league would be honest about it and just come out and say offensive players can do whatever the heck they want.
  17. Bio fanboys did the same thing for DAI at an E3 showing a few years ago all because it was a brief glimpse at Morrigan.
  18. The main issue is that the 'life sim' bits of the original Dragon Age were by far the most popular ones Yes, and it worked for DA:O because it was an epic. Putting little moments to get to know the companions better was a breather in the midst of a blight (that threatens to destroy everything, bla bla bla), while DA2 was a fixed protagonist wondering around a city for a decade. In DA:O your the savior of Ferelden. In DA:I you restore torn reality. In DA2 your a cheap mercenary.
  19. In a life sim, sure but not as a sequel to an epic.
  20. The expansion has a higher level requirement than just any quest in the main story. The devs assume the players have already cleared game first. The expansion stands best, story wise, early or post-game. ***MINOR SPOILER*** It disrupts the flow only if you do it after you've found Ciri but before you've finished the game.
  21. Axii is the single biggest reason I wished there'd been a stealth mechanic. It would've been so much fun to cast it from a distance and watch from cover as you make bandits attack each other.
  22. That depends on whether it's a movie of the books or rather a movie of the games. Take A Song of Fire and Ice for example, the recent video games have all been licensed through the TV show. Shadow of Mordor was the same, the Token estate made (depending on the wording of the movie contract) between little to nothing off the sales of the game.
  23. As someone who loves the books and games, I adamantly DO NOT WANT.
  24. I'm INTP-A, but just barely Prospecting.
  25. There's a balancing reason they didn't add it too, the only place it would have been useful is during monster contracts which were supposed to end in a boss fight not a stealth kill. Also, I hear everyone dig on the crossbow, but it wasn't that bad when used as it should be. In every class there's a means of performing all combat function; the crossbow is for crowd control in the combat class, not for dealing damage. Its not as good a crowd control option as bombs or most of the signs, but you can still use bombs and signs even with a combat build.
