  1. I saw X-Men 3 this weekend. I enjoyed it somewhat in theater but at home, I don't know, it was, well, boring.
  2. Right now I'm playing mostly Oblivion(started last week) and I just installed Titan Quest.
  3. Good point with that spoiler. I assumed the "friend" could've protected this "distinguished person" as well. The preview seemed to hint that the "distinguished person" is a Cylon, with vague dialog like "You were all fools/fooled" and "That is what I wanted from the beginning", backed by images of this person seemingly gaining power. There was also a shot of Baltar saying, quite shocked:"Are you saying... I'm a Cylon?" Funneh. Of course these are all images edited to lure us back this coming friday...
  4. It felt like it was part of a bigger episode, like part one of two or somefin.

Perhaps Syler has all or most of the powers of all the Heroes. He seems to be extracting pieces of Heroes anyway, maybe to turn himself into one? I have a hunch that Syler is that girl hanging out with Mohinder. At first I thought it could be Claire's dad but that seems too obvious.
  6. BSG

Yeah, well, I dug up the old thread about this with a proper search... " It's Baaaack! Well, as planned someone "distinguished" bit the dust. I won't say who it is here as it's pretty big but the previews after the show seemed somewhat very revealing as to that particular person. Anyway, I kept expecting a big action scene during this 2 hour season 3 premiere but most of it was just drama. Good drama, with some lesser characters having their part getting much more important, like Cally, Ellen Tigh and even Gaeta. But in the end it just made me want to see the next episode asap.

  8. I mentioned it already but it's so good it's worth another mention.
  9. Uwe Boll is so bad as a director that he actually made unbearable a scene involving Kristana Loken having prison sex. That's how bad he is. Now, can I fight him? Unfairly of course. I have knives. (w00t)
  10. Do you have a link to this please? I'm very interested! (w00t)
  11. In order of appreciation: -Rome(Best show I've ever seen, BSG included) -Battlestar Galactica -Doctor Who -Lost -Heroes -Eureka -Deadwood -Smallville
  12. To me it felt like it was supposed to be a 2 hour season premiere. I also think The Others are good people and they are trying to bring Jack, Kate and Sawyer, the only three Lostaways that killed someone(I suspect Jack's big secret is that he killed Sarah's boyfriend. Being a doctor it's a very big deal to him)out of jealousy(Jack) and revenge(Kate & Sawyer), sins, back into the light. Overall I thought this episode was pretty boring, especially since the season 2 finally was so awesome.
  13. Just started playing Oblivion. Me likes! (w00t)
  14. Yeeeesssss, come to the dark side. Highlight the text, you know you want too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No... You have failed your highness. I am a Jedi. Like my father before me.
  15. Finally, Desther is dead. He had an army of undead(well ok, about 20 of them) made up of Mummy Warriors, Greater Mummies and Specters. Linu got wiped out with 3 hits from 1 skeleton Warrior so I was left alone against a series of level drains. My lvl 4/2/9 Fighter/Rogue/Wizard was reduced to a lvl 2 rogue. Against 1 Greater Mummy with Desther still at full health. Reload Even though Linu still dies I was able to take out each undead one at a time. Somehow this time I didn't get level drained once. When those were gone I sent one fireball at Desther. The splash damage took out all his protection minions and he immediately summoned his Undead Chietain which I took care of easily with a hit and run tactic. Finally, Desther fell and chapter 1 was over. Sorry for babbling but although I got frustrated a bit at first, I actually really enjoyed this fight. :D
  16. Only 1 day left to wait.
  17. Hmm. Possibly. I've played it a lot but it's been a while. I remember hiding under and behind desks and cubicles waiting for the guards to move away. You can also do a lot of moving around using the air ducts. I do consider hiding and sniping guards stealth, as well as turning on invisibility and walking past the vigilant staff. After all, "stealth" is evading detection, no?
  18. Yes it does. You can play the entire game stealthy. You can also play it guns blazing or a combination of both. You can also go a long way with conversations. There are many ways to go through the game. It's very good.
  19. I love Deus Ex. I stopped counting the times I've played it. I think I feel the urge to play it again, thanks to all of you great people. My favorite level is the office building in Tokyo, where you must evade guards and interrogate/kill the manager. Stealth and death! (w00t)
  20. Lost is second for me as must watch shows, tied with Heroes. The first being BSG of course. What if they make a musical episode? Or a puppet episode?
  21. I'm playing NWN2... I mean 1. :D Solved my crashing problem(Shiny water on ATI card). Now I'm wondering why my level 15 Fighter/Rogue/Wizard(imported from HotU) has problems with "effortless" revenants and Mummy Warriors in Helm's Hold at the end of Chapter 1.
  22. I assume you patched it? It runs fine on my machine.
  23. First, I'm with Hassat on this. Second, the only law of nature is "Only the strong survive" which, when you think about it, is the same for humans. But we can change the word "survive" with "prosper", as the success of one's life is dependent on one's prosperity or financial success. And to be sucessful financially one needs to have certain strengths(of mind at least). Third, animals have a definite capacity to reason, to solve problems. If you ever own a dog, a cat, even a dumbass bird, you will observe this every day. Saying that animals are stupid is wrong. They have intelligence most definitely. I believe what made humans the top species on earth is imagination, not intelligence. Being able to imagine tools and how to make and use them for example. But thats just me. L@ter
  24. And yet, animals have no laws, they live in chaos and all is perfect. Why is that?
