  1. Enchanting needs to be deeper. It should be it's own skill. Possibly restricted to wizard. Or maybe not restricted to wiz but wiz should get a bonus to enchantment. Cooking could be it's own skill too.
  2. I agree I was going to post the exact same thing. I was actually surprised when my warding seal knocked drakes out of the sky in searing falls my first time fighting one. I thought they would be immune or resistant. It seems nothing escapes the knock down cheese
  3. With estoc being the exception they don't hit that hard actually . Dual wield saber hits much harder. Keep in mind that the sabers strike over twice as fast at the same accuracy. I'll leave you to do your own tests . Simplicity is not that great. I think there could be more variation while still maintaining balance. The balance is not perfect as it stands. At the moment if I want to make a defensive dual wielder I am forced to pick hatchet. More option and more varied bonuses would be nice
  4. Im with the OP on this one. Carnage should get a boost from using two handed. Two handed in general in this game could use some love. Except the estoc is pretty decent, especially the special one you get from doing the bounty (the 8 damage pierce one). Secondly the profiles of the two handed weapons should be buffed up a little. Increase the damage of two handed weapons. I dont like that scimitar basically gets to hit as hard as a great sword (check the damages of the weapons if you dont believe me). Dual wield gets 20% faster attack so increase two handed spec damage from 15% to 20%. Secondly, it would be nice to have a great weapon that increases accuracy. General comments about weapons: The bonuses and damage for weapons could all be tweaked and switched around a bit. Why do they all need to have the same damage values? Why is dagger identical to rapier? Imagine this: Long sword: slash/pierce 10-14 +2 accuracy +3 deflection Rapier: pierce 10-14 +2 accuracy 1 DR bypass Dagger: pierce/slash 6-10 +5 accuracy 1 DR bypass And so on. Numbers just made up on the spot so might not be perfectly balanced but I think it would be cool if the weapons were all more different.
  5. Those are awesome. Did you notice in the guilded vale tavern if you listen closely some guy says "Uhhh, ive seen all the good UFC fights"? I had to listen carefully a few times. I have a request if you have any free time. The portraits with the Full Helms. Modified to have Black armour, Red eyes, as evil looking as possible - I want to make some bleak walkers for my next play through. These ones. Or if you have any other ideas for modified evil portraits Id love to see them.
  6. The harder the game the better. When I play a game that I can breeze through even on the hardest difficulty it usually gets a prompt uninstall.
  7. Path of the damned is already pretty zergy. But if they wanted to add one difficulty notch higher I am down. That would be awesome actually. Make it so it unlocks after beating path of the damned. Travel encounters would be good. Personally I dont like respawns. Fixing the exp would be nice. IEmod is basically essential IMO to increase the leveling up exp requirement by 50%. It would be nice if that option was just included in the game itself then I wouldnt need the mod anymore. What do you think about gold? If seems a little excessive to me. Maybe add option to reduce gold by either 25% or 50% if you choose.
  8. Havnt yet. I played BG2 so many times I cant bring myself to play it anymore. Icewind I never finished because it felt like it was missing too much. No kits would be the main thing that turned me off I think. Character creation and advancment is very important to me. After BG2 spoiled me I couldnt get into Icewind because it felt too dated.
  9. Awesome. Two questions. If you dual wield speed enchant weapons does it stack? When is 2.0 coming out!!????
  10. 20% is huge. So huge that you would never consider using any of the weapons that dont have speed enchantment (if it was working). The exception maybe being sabers. Sabers are so strong that they can live without the 20% increase and still be viable.
  11. Will these be tweaked more? I often find myself wondering why a certain spell is level 3 and not level 1. Other low level spells are so powerful they are boardering on broken. Warding seal and slick are both too powerful. Electrical seal does too much damage, it puts the mages fireball to shame. Warding seal is fun at first but just feels like youre cheating and using a crutch after awhile. Other examples?
  12. Can we get some confirmation that this is being looked into? It is really saddening to find out that your speed enchant weapon doesnt actually do anything extra. I cannot figure out why you cant get this to work when the 20% increase from two weapon specialization works fine. From a balance standpoint I think 20% might be too much. Maybe it would be easier to code to allow these weapons to grant a 10% passive alacrity spell (always active)? I dont actually know, im not a programmer but im just suggesting it because the alacrity spell seems to be working as intended. Or just remove the speed enchant and give these weapons some other useful ability please. I am really bothered by this and am waiting for this and individual stealth to be added before I start playing again. But I do love the game and will most likely support you guys by buying the expansion.
