6 chanters are hilarious
I think you could do that. Give 2 chanters this phrase and alternate between Dragon and Courage. There would be a little overlap from linger time but that's OK I think.

Yeah, and then you get the message that he showed up... aaand left while you travelled from A to B. Love that... not!

I also read that you should build the merchant stalls as soon as possible. Don't know if that's right. My experience with him is that you can't rely on anything when it comes to Azurro. One playtrough he shows up like a hundred times, selling me the same stuff over and over again (3x Hiro's Mantle, 2x Rimecutter, 2x Rebel's Call - wtf?) - next playthrough I did the same things with the stronghold and he showed up 5 times. I think the guy is on svef.- 6 chanters are hilarious
I just want to see a screenshot of the 12 Ogres.- 6 chanters are hilarious
Ok, did a test: Sadly, "Their Courage Thick as Steel" doesn't stack. It gets suppressed. Same for most of the other phrases and invocations (e.g. the one that lowers DR and so on). But I have to say that the chant itself is not as bad as I thought. Especially if you are a chanter tank with high deflection and you use Ancient Memory, Beloved Spirits and Veteran's Recovery plus a regenerating item it's pretty good. It eats up the min damage that gets through your armor and would otherwise kill you slowly. If the 30pts are gone, your regeneration can do the job until the shield gets cast again. I just cleared whole Crägholt Bluffs with two lvl-14-chanter tanks (one sings Their Courage + Dragon Slashed, the other one only Dragon Slashed). It was supereasy. Took forever - but supereasy.- 6 chanters are hilarious
The whole screen will be full of Ogres. Haha. Now I really want to know if the 30pt-damage-shield chant stacks as Raven asked. The chant itself is quite crappy - if it stacks: not so anymore. Will run a quick test...- What skills are the best to level up for each class in PotD?
I would give rogue maxed mechanics because he can have the biggest bonus from the start. And if he's in front line or behind doesn't really matter for me. I don't run into areas like Usain Bolt if I didn't explore them before. If your rogue is in the front while exploring and is stealthed he sees enemies before they see him - and the game pauses. So no danger there.- 6 chanters are hilarious
But it's 12(!) Ogres. You can pretend they are the dozens... dumb as they are.- 6 chanters are hilarious
"Dragon Shlashed" also stacks, yes. It's devastating with 6 chanters. You will experience a less hilarious part though. Even in the temple of Eothas I found that 6 times "Come Sweet Winds of Death" were not enough to melt some foes quickly enough. And on higher levels the phantoms also start to stink. I never tried to summon 12 Ogres though - THAT should be fun.- Am I the minority?
Yes, unfortunately - and it sooo tiresome to read.- White March Part 2 delayed a bit, coming February 16
I'm from germany and I like pirates in fantasy settings. I also like firearms. I mean in fantasy games - not in my house...- wizard 3 con viable?
Why not? With Spelltongue, fast attack speed and self buffs it should work. No, I will not try this at home.- Teach Me How to Gun My Fellow Pillarites
- Infinite Phantom, wtf?
- Peasants attacking Aloth are wussies
I think they are all apprentices of Zeblastian Hurtstacker.- Let's be stylish
I can just tell Osric that I want to keep it. Gives me bad reputation with the dozens, but who cares? Maybe you have to be cruel or aggressive? I can't remember, sorry. But normally if I want it I just substract the life force from the dozens. I hate them anyway - gives me Cloudpiercer, too.- [CLASS BUILD] Zeblastian Hurtstacker (autoattacking double trouble dps wizard)
I also think that this is negligible. I have not much experience with solo playthroughs - thanks for the info. I'm actually quite happy that this build can also work solo.- [CLASS BUILD] Zeblastian Hurtstacker (autoattacking double trouble dps wizard)
Spelltongue: chest (with a cart) in Russetwood, lower right of the map if I recall correctly. It's great for a wizard: you can use it to prolong all the buffs that are on you. Wiuth Alacrity you can hit fast enough to keep the buffs up for the whole fight. Summoned weapons use the Weapon Focus you have - like Soulbound Weapons do. It's very convinient. Golden Gaze is just great for a wizard because it not only causes 2 blasts for each shot but also causes -5 DR for a long time in a huge area. What I also forgot to mention: If Expose Vulnerabilites hits again while enemies still suffer from it, it's durations get added. It doesn't get suppressed! So most of the time, when I did like 10 shots, the enemies hat Exp. Vuln. for over a minute! This is not the case if you cast it yourself (gets completely suppressed) - it only seems to work with the rod.- [CLASS BUILD] Zeblastian Hurtstacker (autoattacking double trouble dps wizard)
Thanks for the spilled coffee on my keyboard by the way... :D- [CLASS BUILD] Zeblastian Hurtstacker (autoattacking double trouble dps wizard)
Thanks again. The wall spells are great together with Combusting Wounds, that's true. Best thing is it keeps on hitting while you can do other stuff - like shooting. I totally forgot to mention that. All the ray spells are also great for that. I had a druid in the party with lots of DoT spells and didn't feel the need to bite into the tabletop while trying to place the walls correctly - so I skipped them this time. Just for once.- I don't think I am able to get into this game, which is a huge shame and probably my fault or my own stupidity
I also don't know why lots of people say that PoE's combat is difficult. My very first game was on normal without min-maxing or anything like that. I had no idea what I was doing (compared to now) and I had some really messed up builds in my party. But after ActI things turned from normal to very easy.- [CLASS BUILD] The Leech (barbarian time bandit tank)
Good news: Fighting Spirit (human) and Defiant Resolve (wild orlan) both get prolonged by Spelltongue's Time Siphon enchantment. What doesn't work: The duration of the on-kill-effects of the Blood Tempered Helmet don't benefit from this. Don't know why. So my advice is that instead of a pale elf you take a human for better ACC and damage or a wild orlan for better defenses. Pale elf is still viable of course. I took it mainly because you can get 20 DEX with it.- [CLASS BUILD] Zeblastian Hurtstacker (autoattacking double trouble dps wizard)
I have to say I was tempted to write [GLASS BUILD] instead of [CLASS BUILD]...- [Party Challenge] Team Alpha Strike
I think. With some exceptions like enemy monks and this forest lurker bounty. In both cases they are running very fast so that +1 move speed is not sufficient. - Azzuro the merchant
