Who Kriea actually could be?
SSgtSniper replied to SSgtSniper's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
This is true. Although once I get the final crystal upgade, I'm really not interested in her anymore, even if she IS Kae. Side note: Vala, are you aware the quote in your sig is off by a word? -
Always was restriced by armor. I noticed in the DVD that comes with the Priam book, they don't mention it once as a "must have" power. Maybe they aren't as good a guide as they think? It's a must have, dark or light side. two extra attacks, and you get places much quicker? I'm sold.

Who Kriea actually could be?

Oh you dirty minded so-and-so. I like it. -
Sadly, they are more likely to see trouble out of MS than LA. Sales of KOTOR II fell flat rather quicker than they'd have liked, because the word got out about the ending. I even held off for my copy for a while, because while I love KOTOR and the concepts in it, I wasn't too eager to get a swiss cheese ending. So I waited for a lull in my other games before investing. If the restoration mod suceeds, sales may improve for a time, meaning more money for all involved with the making of the game. So they wouldn't tend to care. However, MS has begun targeting the xbox modding community, and the xbox community (myself included) has already asked the Team Gizka at least investigate fixing the xbox version. As I understand it, they have agreed to look into that possibility, and that does mean that they may have troubles on that end, especially since MS has moved on to the 360 and had pretty much squashed most attempt to further support the original xbox games. (Example: Bungie was still releasing playlist updates for Halo 2 until 360 launch day, when things suddenly stopped. ) So this tends to breathe life back into a system they are trying to get people to move beyond, and they may not like it. Just my idle thoughts on the subject.

That particular spot is almost always a regular for me. I've gotten one or two shorts, but never a double there. And Now I'm fiddling with Vrook, and out of six times, I got five singles and one short. I really do think there's an element for xbox, that "reduces" the randomness of it. Too ofetn the sam thing pops up in the sames spots over and over, eventually that no longer qualifies as really random. Edit: 8 times, 7 singles, three different colors, one short. -
LightSaber color of choice?

I tell you what I'd like to see in K3, if there were to be a K3: The return of "Mantle of the Force" and "Heart of the Guardian." Those were two cool property-warping bad boys! -

Nope. Still not random for my xbox. Up to fifteen out of fifteen now. Still doubles. Oh, the color did change once. Once. Out of fifteen times. Methinks it's not as totally random as people think it is. I think that selection "favors" certain factors on the xbox, I really do. I'm not saying there isn't some random to the process, like if it were pulling sabers out of a bag, but what I'm saying is it loads let say five or six extra of one kind in said bag, making that kind more likely to pop up. -
For most it is. I will say that searches on this forum tend to time out for me, so he might have the same problem. Not likely, but might.

Lazy you are. Discussed all over this forum it is. But, since no faith in you do I have, I'll just tell you: He IS the droid, the hologram is a fake. And he has his probes (he has no fingers, what? Stop looking at me like that) in all sorts of droid affairs across the galaxy.

I've got an interesting one, in my current game (and it's getting annoying). Every time I go to a loading screen, when I come back, my guy has lost roughly 10% of his vitality. If I go to a load point (Say the door to khoonda) and just go inside, outside, repeat, I can actually KILL my guy. Takes eleven loads in quick succession, but there it is.

LightSaber color of choice?

Guardian/Weapon Master: Silver. Cyan if I decide to go double bladed. Sentinel/Watchman: Orange. Maybe an Orange and a bronze if I don't have two orange crystals. Consular/Jedi Master: Viridian. pretty much all of my consulars are one handed, (for the extra attack more than the defense) so I don't have to worry about not having more than one crystal. -
I can turn him in two bumps. Go to Dantoinee first, carry him to the old milita guy, he has something to say. Then go in the cave, pick up the sensors, and he pops off again. (awareness check here) ask him to crack them open and look inside, then thank him. Go outside with him, back to the old milita guy, (don't have Kriea, you'll lose influence with her, and she'll sponge the influence) and discuss the innards of the sensors, then take the original agreed price anyway. He'll compliment you, and you can get a HUGE inflence bump from that convo. Bing bam boom, two influence bumps, and yet enough to make him Jedi.

hmm..how would Kreia look like if she were just 20 years old? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Like the Handmaiden, possibly?
-
If all you want is to hear his backstory, you can choose dialog options that you think sound smart ass, and lose influence down far enough to hear most of the story. Then accuse him of being a droid, and the first time you do so, you'll lose the rest of the influence needed to bottom out him. People often forget that both MAX influence and MAX negative influence get you the exact same net effect.

In case you don't catch the joke guy, (don't laugh BattleWook, I've seen people not catch links hidden in text at Bungie all the time) His sentence is a lazy link.

Dantoinee, (the only DS points I get the whole game) the dead salvager claim. And in other games it's been a single before. Don't assume I don't know about the dropped double on Dxun, the single on Onderon, and the glitched dropped double on Telos. (What is up with that Telos double, anyway?) -

Tell that to the ten times I reloaded today just to prove you wrong, came up Double Blade ten out of ten. -
Exile's Lightsaber preference
SSgtSniper replied to Whisperblade's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Just read it, and believe me, it is BS. It has to do with the random generation of lightsabers at receiving point. If you don't get what you wan't just reload and then try again to see if you get the lightsaber of your choise... What you selected as your lightsaber has NO influence on what type of sabers you get... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> BW, I think you might be wrong about this. Let me throw out my three examples on this: Game one, male. I told Atton my old blade was a double, then had Bao-Dur build me another double. By the end of the game, I had racked up eight doubles, two singles, and one short. Reloads didn't seem to effect a change. Game two, female. I told Atton single, Bao-Dur built me a single, I couldn't find a single short the whole game, and only got two doubles. Reloads did change one single to a double, but that was it. Game three, male. Atton double, Bao-Dur single, I got an almost even mix of the three kinds during the game, slightly heavier to shorts. reloads had more effect, changing two doubles to singles, and one single to a short. This is xbox btw, not PC. And subsequent games have tended to follow the same patterns pretty closely, which is why now, whatever I tell Atton, I have Bao-Dur do the opposite. That seems to cause a more "balanced" mix of blades to pop up. -
Who says I'd be interested in asking her to do that? Dirty dirty mind you have, yes. And yet again, as it has been said before, they are drawings. Don't get too wound up about them, it's not healthy.

Who Kriea actually could be?
SSgtSniper replied to SSgtSniper's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Do you spam as an occupation? Oh, and Jediphile, in the dreaded "cut content" there was supposedly a line in the cut ending where Kriea called Brianna "One who would slay her own Kin" or something of the like. Who would slay her own kin? Kriea is kin? Hmmm...... Yes, I know, it's cut content and therefore void, but just a nugget I found interesting. -

Disciple's a Soldier/Consular, and he's actually pretty good in a fight with some weapon finesse: Lightsaber. I have never leveled Goto up, nor has he ever left the ship. (Kinda goes hand in hand, I know.) And I don't think I ever will. Also, you can sit and insult Go-to into telling you what you want to know out of him, mainly that he actually is that stupid droid, and after that, I never talked to him again. -
The sacrifice thing is true, but it's very specific in its parameters, and I don't remember what they are right now. And like my friend there, I've never done it and wouldn't. That would be wrong. She's totally devoted to you man, that's just wrong.
