set it for ten seconds and calmly walk away....

Funny. I just had a friend recommend that this morning, and when I went to their site I got this from the scan "Our scan was unable to determine exactly what type of Intel system you are using." I read this off the label on the RAM card itself, maybe you'll be albe to tell me for sure if I am understanding it right: DDR400 256MB 2.5v UI Now, as I understand it, that means I have 256MD DDR SDRAM running 2.5 volts. the 400 and the UI I don't get. And if I get any DDR SDRAM will it "plug and play"?

However, I require some upgrading, mostly in the RAM department. My computer's graphics card will function for the game (not by a lot extra, but it does meet the recommended criteria by just a hair, not the minimum mind you, the recommended)but I don't have the recommended RAM. So, I am investigating upgrades to either double current ram, (256) or to just get an entirely new 512 card. Now, I don't plan on spending a LOT lot of money on this so don't try to sell me on more than the reccomended requirements. What I'm asking for is the info to discover what kinds of RAM sticks I can buy for this system, and best site/store/catalog to get them from. Help in this is very much appreciated.

Advantages because of glitches

Fairy tale. They do, and they give even more XP (but no goodiees) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Xbox doesn't award that bit of experience properly though, so be advised, it's better to be boarded in xbox. -
Actually my favorite combo of melees are the Sith Tremor against the Zabrak vibroblade. Ostrine edge, either the best ion cell (early) or the best energy cell (later) and the best Nagai grip I can manage at the time. In both. In leiu of the Tremor, the Echani sword is good as well. I wish the double bladed ones could take power cells, the sith double looks pretty cool.

Only possible on X-Box <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just like bashing the terminal to the exchange door on the Citadel....

You get that when you have more influence with Visas than Handmaiden when you first re-enter the ship after you pick up Mira. My favorite is Exile: "You could always play pazaak with Atton" T3: "Beep boop beep" Atton: "What, pazaak again?" Handmaiden: "No, I do not trust him." Exile: "At cards?" Handmaiden: "That too." I laughed for two solid minutes.

Mines, mines, and more mines for experience. Infinite Hssiss. -
Xbox does get the download, you just have to have live. Vala, you should try and get a two month trial and pick it up. It does add a certain amount of replayability to it, because Yavin Station has it's own "sidequest" as well.
-
Um, you must own the xbox version and don't have live, right? There's a DLC pack that includes "Yavin Station" which orbits the gas giant, and if you look out the window, you can see Yavin 4.

Who Kriea actually could be?
SSgtSniper replied to SSgtSniper's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yes, but I think it seems better somehow without the "kid". It's my sig, deal with it! <_< They probably said that Kreia was Malak's mother because they're both the Final Boss. I find it hard to believe they could be related. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh, no, my child.... "Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a GOOD blaster at your side, kid." --This from the man who carried a blaster so powerful it was known to explode in the owners' hand from time to time..... -
That's right, because it'd be free to them.

I eventually realized I had gotten so rich, I kept looking around for Mandalorian stuff to buy and then sell it back to Kex to "help" Mandalore rebuild. Lost a lot of money on the deal, but then what did I need with that last 100k? I had 400k left anyway. Spread the wealth, is what I'm thinking.

Your Revan and Exile - Gender/Looks etc
SSgtSniper replied to Swinneh's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
My "Favorite" Revan actually looks kinda like a mirror image of me. I think of him as my right-handed twin. Anyway, Scout/Sentinel, (sorry, but you can't beat all those immunities) Double Bladed, usually with some version of "Mantle of the Force" and the solari crystal. As far as in KOTOR II, I actually created Four that I have kept. They are all named after certain friends. Scott: The "Jesus" face, Consular/Master, has the implant that allows for BOTH single and dual wield, although I actually had him single wield the most, Player/Solari crystals, viridian blade. Ossus Robes. Jenn: Blonde white girl, Guardian/Weapon Master (I don't usually cross-class) She wields a double blade with the Player/Pontite Crystal. Cyan color. Master Robes. Tanya: Black haired white girl (there's only one, the others are all "asian") Sentinel/Weapons Master (I said usually, not always). Hand to hand fighter. She carries a pair of regular blades (both orange) that she doesn't actually equip. Player/Barab Ore in one, Kaiburr/Pontite in other. Always wears some form of unarmed gauntlets. Master Robes. Me: My same mirror image, white guy with dirty blonde hair, Sentinel/Watchman, Dual wield or single (actually has both sets of feats) two single blades (both orange) Player/Pontite, Kaiburr/Upari are his crystals. Ossus Robes. Oh, and I use the mine glitch quite a bit, leaving ten mines in every area to pick up and put back down until I leave the planet, so these guys are all high thirties in levels. Tanya is high forties. (Don't ever do that on xbox, the vitality of enemies becomes annoyingly high. Not skill, mind you, they can't hit her for the life of them, but they just don't die quickly like they ought to. Rack up 250 damage in one attack round, and that's only a third of their vitality? Geez....) -
Ankarres saphirre, Kaiburr Crystal, Barab Ore Ingot. Most powerful crystals I came across. The Pontite Crystal is pretty good too, but it's a quest completion drop for Onderon. I have run into it once as a random drop though as well. Ankarres: +2 DEX, +1 STR, 2 REG, Keen Kaiburr: +3 CON, +3 WIS, 3 REG Barab: 2d8 Fire damage. Pontite: +1 ATK, 1d10 Cold Damage, +2 CHA

Who Kriea actually could be?
SSgtSniper replied to SSgtSniper's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
That's pretty accurate anyway. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So true, so true. -
Always was restriced by armor. I noticed in the DVD that comes with the Priam book, they don't mention it once as a "must have" power. Maybe they aren't as good a guide as they think? It's a must have, dark or light side. two extra attacks, and you get places much quicker? I'm sold. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Very true. Makes the game much easier and the travel distances more tolerable. Use it with a Double-Bladed Lightsaber and Master Flurry and you'll get like six attacks in a turn. Prima must be drinking. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, with two blades, flurry, and MS, you get five attacks. As a Weapon Master, throw in Juyo form, you get six.

You're welcome. -
You have to be kidding me, that's half the appeal of one of these, is the ability to chat with each other on a subject at a pace even my father's typing can keep up with . As far as boss fights.... A defensively stacked Watchman has no "hard" fights in this game.... Just fights in which it takes a while for the other guy to die. (I tend to build Watchmen that cannot be hit by anyone short of rolling a twenty, and have UBER vitality just in case. ) The hardest area in either KOTOR game is the run up to Bastila on the Star Forge. On xbox, (I assume it's the same on PC) it spawns fresh enemies constantly, at the rate of five-ish every three seconds. So unless you had Master speed one all three party members, they spawned faster than you could kill them. (Poor Jolee bit the bullet quite often and got left to be force spawned up at party location.)
