Who Kriea actually could be?
SSgtSniper replied to SSgtSniper's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
And so it remains in question. The section on this subject in Wiki seems to have been written by someone sympathetic to our side of the argument. However, it is Wiki, so that'll change in a day or so I imagine. -
Who Kriea actually could be?
SSgtSniper replied to SSgtSniper's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yes! This is what I am saying. Too many bits and pieces thrown in, seemingly at random, but when viewed together, present a very possible story. That's why I came to believe as I do. -
Suvam Tan, from KOTOR one. God I never managed to beat him more than like twice, and wound up several thousand credits in the hole trying.

Im pretty sure its Greeda, that female Rodian on nar Shadda, but correct me if im wrong <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ^^ Correct. You have to complete the new trade routes quest first though.

Now et me preface this by saying I kinda figured this would happen, but I figured it to be worth the risk. If, on Nar Shaddaa, after killing Cahmakht, you leave the ship, under no circumstances should you immediately turn around and go back in. EVER. No matter who you forgot to turn into a Jedi before you walked outside..... hehe. Anyway, if you do, the beginning of atton's message will trigger just as you go into the Ebon Hawk's loading screen, and you will now not be able to meet with a certain slimy fellow you must to continue on your way. Atton will also appear both inside and outside the ship. Both will talk to you. But you will be stuck, and unable to complete the planet. I tried for about 45 minutes to figure out how to re-trigger the message, to no avail. This might have been mentioned before, but I figured I'd post it just in case it hasn't. Twenty seven views, and no comments. Hmmm. <_<

I have problem Vogga's Warehouse Mission
SSgtSniper replied to POLATALEMDAR's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well, there's easy, and then there's quickly. I outfit mine with the highest plating I can find, the renewable shield, Mandalorian Rippers or Mandalorian Heavy pistols with Ion Charger V, two machine interfaces (total repair + and the shock arm and a plasma thrower. I try to make him just as kick butt as any other member of my little army. -
I actually tend to use very few powers myself, Dyan. Now freezing a room full in the Trayus Academy does give me a kick, but for most of the game I use the more 'internalized' powers. Speed, Valor, Force Barrier, Energy resistance, and of course heal. That's most of what I use.

I have problem Vogga's Warehouse Mission
SSgtSniper replied to POLATALEMDAR's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I went in there with a pair of Mandalorian rippers outfitted with Ion Charger V and targeting scope III's, and took that poor thing out in one combat round. Even ate up the HK's pretty quick with them too. Only the best for my astromech. -
I've often wondered that, but I don't know if it ever comes up. I've helped her, kissed her butt, argued with her, everything short of kill her and it hasn't been given to me yet. And apparently killing her won't give it to me either, from what you are saying.

How To Get to A Higher Jedi Class?
SSgtSniper replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Exactly. I've gotten my prestige class on Nar Shaddaa without yet having Visas. (Did it first, hadn't gone back to the ship yet) All you need is 15 levels and 75% alignment. -
I hang on to it, and have Bao-Dur break it down late, I get a decent amount of components from it, so it's useful in some way.

Buy a action replay then someone could make a save for the xbox people I might do that when the mod comes out! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Here's hoping you do, although I have AR, I don't have teh linux.
-
Thanks, it just popped in my head. I also have a combo theory. What if Vrook, Adare, and let's say some of her closest friends, what if they decided to secretly rebuild topside of the academy when Vrook first returned to Dantooine? Project the image of damage with holograms, then inside start the slow process of rebuilding quietly. Would have taken time, but would have hidden what you were doing. And then, when the time comes you are ready for everyone to know, just switch it off.
-
Who says they didn't fake much of the damage? Some force power to create the illusion of utter destruction, or a holographic field to do the same? In other words, who knows, and ultimately does it matter much?

No kidding. I'd like to try a few of those bad boys on... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> (For the Xbox version to be clear on this)- @ level 44 acra jeth was the robes fassa rewarded me for his pylon mission, I went back to a earlier sith tomb save and leveled up to 50 and went back to fassa and now I'm getting Darth Malak's Armour instead, with the same character but @ level 50 vs 44, has anyone else tried the levels between 44 and 50 to see what other robes fassa gives you? I'm guessing certain levels drop certain items as when I repeatedly reload it only drops the same robes listed above @ that certain level. FYI sidenote-I didn't talk to the salvager that sells jedi relics until after I reached level 50 and she dropped a silver crystal, you have to save prior to talking to her and reload until you receive the items you want like kasha crystal +1 attack +2 wisdom, but to be clear she never had anything better than the usual robes she always has. No special robes from the list previously mentioned from her. But her crystals did seems to improve. Does anyone else have any info about these robes and what level drops what items? It seems that you can get these special robes but only after you just through a series of rings of fire. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, that's one way to make people go to Korriban first... Hssiss glitch, here I come again!

Tell the people who got permanently stuck in the Onderon Castle or could never activate the main quest on Nar Shaddaa! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or the hapless fools that decided to destroy that terminal just to see what happened in Citadel Station...

In fact, the first mention of a Sith species goes way back, before Tim Zahn in fact. The first mention I remember was 'Splinter of a Mind's Eye'. According to several books, now made Canon, The Fallen jedi, the first fallen jedi, weren't called "Sith". They found and dominated a species called Sith, and over a century or so took up the name for their own empire. Thus, the birth of "The Sith Empire" that fought the Republic in the Great Hyperspace War. All this stuff comes from books and established materials, most eventually made Canon, that predate the Xbox. So why are we all arguing again?

Okay, let me fill the majority of you PC exclusive gamers in. For us Xbox people, there's a device, called AR (Action Replay) which operates as a gamesave transfer across the interent. It also has had more, dastardly, uses. (AR was the main weapon of choice for the Halo 2 "softmod" cheaters this past year). However, it has been used by non cheaters to creat parameters that can be put in a game to let you gou outside a world and explore, creat custom avatars and color combonations maybe not present by default, and other non disruptive uses for a ton of xbox games. What I am wondering, is with the "patches" created for PC gamers, why have I heard absolutely nothing from the legit modding community of xbox. All of the issues you guys have fixed could have easily been fixed for xbox with Linux and AR, but it's deathly quiet on the xbox front. I guess I'm hoping I can attract someone who has used his AR to fix some of the issues/ missing planets/items that cannot actually spawn, and see if I can find a source to take a look at some of the neater stuff myself. Before all of you people start with "Buy it on the PC", I cannot. Believe it or not, my xbox has a better graphics card than this old out of date hunk of junk.

Discussing your least favorite planet
SSgtSniper replied to SSgtSniper's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Nar Shaddaa feels like it takes forever, but it's still got a variety of things to fight/talk to/fix. Peragus is just kill droids, and kill more droids, and fiddle with some computers, but not too much, because you have virtually no spikes in your inventory. Malachor at least has monsters outside, assasins, troopers, and a few Sith inside. More variety in what you fight. -
Who Kriea actually could be?
SSgtSniper replied to SSgtSniper's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
How hard I try I cannot see Handmaiden's face and Kreia's as similar... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> When you live years on Malachor, look as good you will not Hmmm? -
Actually, it could now. Obsidian could build a patch for it that even without the content downloader could be released for the "smart LIVE" on the 360. Which could do two things: 1. give current 360 owners and option to "fix" the game. (they could even do things like put the HK factory back in if they so desired, they being Obsidian.) 2. Give xbox owners holding off on the 360 a reason to at least consider the upgrade. As it stands now, I'm waiting for either KOTOR III or Halo 3, so a KOTOR II bug fix/Droid planet patch would make me at the very least consider getting the new system.

I would beg to differ. I'm playing through my 21st character, and I haven't even begun to explore every possible Jedi setup I can think up just to see what the stats wind up being. <-- Final Stats whore.

Who Kriea actually could be?
SSgtSniper replied to SSgtSniper's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
No, but the sisters do. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry, but no. Both are mistaken. Brianna tells you herself. It took me some time to find it, but here it is. (Influence: Success) My father broke his oaths. He shamed us all. I do not wish to follow his path... I swore not to follow his path. ... He went to war to be with the one he loved, but not the one he had pledged himself to. He was disloyal. ... I am the mark of that disloyalty. It is said that such things run in the blood, and I have fought long to prove that this is not so. Mark that Yusanis is the betrayer not Kae for he betrayed his wife and their family. Still, this does not disprove Kae = Kreia, but it doesn't support it either. It does seem interesting that with certain people it's all about "betrayal", though. With some betrayal runs in blood, while others just need to hold the knowledge of betrayal. " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry, buddy, but you are wrong yourself. The sisters do talk about her, and how "she shames us all". "You know why- she bears the face of her mother." So, I guess I was right, after all, huh?
