Hey welverin, Yes, the disc version only works with patches we release that are specific for disc users. Steam only works with steam and GOG only works with GOG. You cannot buy the game with steam, and then purchase The White March with GOG and expect them to work together. Any user that has received a disc version of the game, also received a key for either Steam or GOG. So if they do not wish to wait for the downloadable version, they can purchase the White March with either platform they choose.

I believe I may have found the problem. In your save, one of the Algul is hostile while the rest are friendly. When I creeped up slowly, combat initiated first but then the dialogue was prompt. I was able to get the one hostile Algul to run in the back and kill him separately. Then I walked in and the dialogue came up again. I have entered the bug into our database and forwarded it along to the appropriate department. Thank you for your help and support!

The pre-end game save is designed so that you have a save file right before you enter the pit so that if you cant beat it or get stuck, you can go back to that save file and do whatever you need to do. This file is marked as "xxxxxxxxxxxx noreturnsave.savegame" You should be able to use that save to play The White March. You will not be able to use the save "gamecomplete.savegame" for the expansion. Thank you for your support.

Hey Fibes88, As of now, there is no option for you to hide just the character portraits. The 2 things that you can hide from the UI is the center controls and the chat/combat log. If you want to completely hide all of the UI just hit CTRL+H. Press the same thing to bring the UI back. Thanks for your support!

I'm sure you have done this already, but check to see if you video drivers are all up-to-date and have the latest drivers installed. Also try this out. In your steam library, right-click Pillars of Eternity > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

Hey hamskii, I loaded your save in 2.00.0706 and everything turned out fine. Also, your save didnt have the sword in your inventory. So I went ahead and to level 4 to get it and returned to the statue. Thank you for your support!

Hello lakrids, Make sure you have The White March installed. There should be a checkbox in your steam library for Pillars in the DLC section. Otherwise expansion saves will not show up if you just have the base game installed.
