I think you hit the nail on the head when you said that if a character levels too fast, you don't feel like you've earnt it. - Or words to that effect. I don't mind how often my character levels so long as I feel he/she/it deserves it. Provided I've done something suitably worth undertaking and have been rewarded for it, I'm happy. I feel sold short if I don't level properly or been given a "reward"/whatever after running around for hours performing some stupid/plot based task. Likewise, when I get given five levels for taking a coin from house a to house b in the same city, I feel frustrated because clearly, its making a mockery of the rules/character.

Doesn't it say somewhere that Revan built HK47 using the starforge? It's been a while so I'm not 100%...

K3: Death of Chuck ?
-
I knew someone made it ^_^

Maybe it would be worth going back over the 76 pages and finding all the decent suggestions for K3 and putting it into a new thread, rather then continue this pile of bull about Chuck Norris?

At what point did Revan turn to the DS?
Dyan replied to Darth Sun_Tzu's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I didn't say I believed it - hence the smilies, but you're right. It is a nice way for a DS to sum it up. I wouldn't trust Kreia's words as far as I could throw her. -
Correct me if I'm wrong, and I probably am, but doesn't Kreia make some comment about betrayal running in Handmaiden's blood?

I hate you all so, so much.

Arcanum Kotor 2 (first time playing darkside) was playing Pirates of the Carribean, but got sick of the glitches.
-
What the heck have you people done to the thread? ! No more Chuck Noris!

There was one game where I named my Revan "Mommy" - simply for amusement value. It was er, interesting when they revealed who Revan finally was - and when Mission says along the lines of "Darth Revan was who you were, but your Mommy now." ...well, it amused me at the time.

I tend to do Telos first, then Dant, Nar Shaddar, Dxun and then Korriban. I'm not altogether sure why I do... I guess its because of K1 and how I took on Korriban last. "I am Darth Revan" I'm not fond of Nar Shaddar and I guess thats why I leave it until second. I enjoy storming the palace, so I leave that until after Nar Shaddar as something to cheer me up. <_< Maybe next game, I'll try taking on Nar Shaddar first.

I'd forgotten about that sceen to. Yeah, you're right - they recognise her. Kreia does play the whole "no one can remember me because I used the force on them to affect their memories" card an awful lot though.

Discussing your least favorite planet
Dyan replied to SSgtSniper's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I don't like Nar Shaddar. I'm not especially fond of Peragus, but it isn't as bad as that blasted Hutt planet. There's something about that moon that just pisses me off. -
I agree. However, whether or not its just there to tease us gamers, I don't know. However, I'd like to think that Kreia is Kae - it gives her character more depth and makes things more interesting.

Who was the better Sith Lord?
Dyan replied to Jedi Master Revan's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Kreia is HK47 Malak is HK50 Finesse and art vs. Wanton slaughter -
Did ya play SWG after nov 15? OR before that? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ^ And holocrons to recover from krypt dragon's lairs too?
-
They do? What's this you speak of? "A real life?" " Seriously though, with the amount of offtopic discussion that goes in here, I wonder if anyone would have the patience to wade through 66 pages of ideas/debate/aruging/stuff. On another topic, if you want MP starwars, you've got SWGs. Leave Kotor out of it, if you please.

*snicker* I'd pay to see that. I know the topic seems to imply only one character, but I'd like to see these four return: Bastilla Shan - 'coz I miss being lectured about the evils of the dark side and winding her up. Annoying Kreia just ain't the same. Jolee Bindo - because he's insane and a crazy old coot. What more needs to be said? Yuthura Ban - because she genuinely could have been a really decent party "bonus" companion. Juhani - who doesn't like ickle kitties? (to smite of course )

LSM Revan: Exile (without ever having played K2) DSM Revan: Darth Revan (second play through) Exile: Revan (I just couldn't resist. )

Revan turned evil/darkside to show the republic & more importantly, the jedi council, what a true enemy was. The mandalorians were of no threat to the jedi or their beliefs - but a war of conversion with a dark jedi/sith lord at the helm was. Revan shattered their nice, little secluded shell they had built up around themselves. Maybe he was "good" to start with, freeing slaves and all the rest; maybe he was a brilliant leader and maybe he did fall to the dark side to save the republic, but I don't think that's what's important. What's important is, he showed/shocked the jedi into seeing what the "true" threat of the "sith" were. At least, that's my $0:02

At what point did Revan turn to the DS?
Dyan replied to Darth Sun_Tzu's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Revan never "fell". He became the dark lord out of necessity. And that is something the council will never know. <_< I expect that Revan really turned to the dark side because Kreia talked him into it - or more likely, foretold what would have occured if he did not. Since manipulating people is what she does/did best, no doubt she manipulated Raven into proving her teachings - that one can never be complete with having studied only one view of teachings. Either that, or she was simply trying to justify the fact that Revan was "good" and sacrificed far more than the Jedi council - thus making them hypocrites. Yeah, she had a point to prove and used Revan to prove it for her :D -
You know, I noticed that Atton made a remark on-board the Ebon Hawk shortly after Peragus and Kriea lost her hand... He makes some comment about how Kreia won't speak two words to him, but will talk off [your] the exile's ear. Now, I know this might not make a lot of difference, but it always struck me as odd that Kreia would tell Handmaiden what the force was like - I mean, she almost reads her a lecture. Kreia will barely speak two words to anyone else, except in contempt, so why would she explain something like that to Handmaiden? Unless she's speaking to you (the exile). -- Edit: another point, but one I don't think anyone's mentioned... in the original movies, Obi-wan said that Darth Vader had killed Anakin Skywalker - "from a certain point of view." Could it not also be true, that perhaps, Darth Traya (or whatever name Kreia is using at that point) could have killed Kae?
-
Ah... but even in that case, you'd still have to use your ship more in order for the feat to be effective - otherwise its just a waste of space. They'd also have to upgrade/alter/improved the mini-games, like the turret one, or again, the feat would be pointless.
-
Problem with that is, there aren't enough ships you could pilot to make it fesible - unless they introduce that in K3. It'd be pretty cool I guess, but I'd rather be able to upgrade my ship and customise it rather than have a ton of ships that I'm unable to customise. Just as long as they don't make it like Pirates of the Carribean, I'll be happy. (the whole ship thing I mean)
