  1. you know, what I wrote originally was f*ggot...

  2. Yup # Louhi, the matriarch of Pohjola, hostess of the Underworld. # Loviatar, the blind daughter of Tuoni and the mother of Nine diseases. # Luonnotar, spirit of nature, feminine creator. # Mennink
  3. I feel like **** right now

  4. Game won't run with weaker GPU lulz
  5. Also, don't forget gods Mielikki and Loviatar
  6. Uhh, actually, it's just Action RPG with pre-generated character. Click click click. But for such this sounds interesting, even though whole "darkness and 'maturity'" for its sake is downright silly.
  7. Hmh, sounds rather interesting I might eventually pick this game up
  8. **** **** **** That's so frickin' awesome I'd liked to NOT be spoiled about that. Well, **** happens *shrug*
  9. wait wait wait, Tale has kids? run to the hillz
  10. 2. Elaborate 3. Every thing makes sens. Bhuh?
  11. So, I just took my glasses off (I only use them when I'm watcing tv or I'm on computer) and snap, frame broke and lense dropped on floor. Srsly WTF?
  12. For me Safiya's ending was very nice Of course my PC did have romance with her so naturally it was happy-happy ending. Isn't the other version something like she buries herself in her studies and live alone in Founder's chambers and dies alone?
  13. hahaha newbs i has ipod ...yea im gay
  14. It's been some time I've checked all the cut audio logs. I didn't remember this absolutely hilarious gem
  15. I recommend reading (now that you can do it without fear of spoilerz) reading this topic. That Wall bit been frustrating It's propably WotC's fault. After all OE can't rewrite their damn cosmology... Anyway, there are 4 endings, "optimal good", "good", "optimal evil" and "evil". "Optimal" here meaning best possible ending for your companions. If you get "optimal good" part for Kaelyn, she and her siblings keep fighting "guerilla war" against wall, attacking and freeing few souls at time and escaping before Big K could do anything. That change from "unoptimal" Kaelyn ending ( it deeply saddened me, Kaelyn was my favorite companion  ) which I got first time I completed game made difference and the fact I couldn't bring wall down didn't annoy me as much. Sure, maybe we couldn't bring God down in his own realm, but at least our cause wasn't completely useless and/or defeat. Long live guerilla warfare! You got that if you triggered the "optimal" good ending. (Of course, if you didn't take Kaelyn with you into city of Judgement you didn't get anything but who wouldn't take her?)
  16. What ending you got?
  17. Gann/Spirit Shaman PC/Favored Soul PC is very effective healer. edit: nvm, none of them have spontaneous heal...
  18. Was there quest related to these vremyonni? I just happened to stick my nose where it didn't belong and since my intimidate skillz weren't convincing enough it ended up in bloody mess.
  19. holy f*cken **** /b/ is awesome now. <3 mootle

  20. I was way too low-level for that battle and completely unbuffed. If my party would've been fully buffed they wouldn't had a chance. Now my characters were isolated and nearly completely without buffs. Kaelyn, Gann and my PC had enemies everywhere around them with horribly effective sneak attacks. Being flanked all the time meant they'd get sneak attack after sneak attack dealing insane amount of damage (as none of us had any items to give immunity against sa's ) and clerics kept on spamming with their damn spells. Gann was quickly brought down thanks to his low AC and hitpoints. Kaelyn was nearly completely useless although (barely) managed to survive through whole battle. Only use she had was he gathered some of the enemy's attention and thanks or high AC she survived in middle of them (interestingly my PC had clearly higher AC and better tank abilities anyway, but he had much harder time). And few random Mass Heals that took care of summoned shadows. But overall she had nearly no effect on course of battle. Luckily combat casting and high concentrate meaned (on average) only every fourth spell failed which I casted. Only character who wasn't in deep **** was Safiya. To my greatest pleasure priests casted blindness on her all the time and only my spirit shaman had restorations left to deal with them. Too bad he was kinda, uh, busy with those nasty backstabbers.. And eventually restorations ran out (luckily, so did blindness spells). I couldn't blast them with meteor swarm since that would've killed PC and Kaelyn who were "badly wounded" nearly all the time but not every enemy who would've then just casually removed lone wizard. And as transmutation specialist she didn't have any summonings (they were next to useless anyway, Kaelyn's planetar and my elder elementals were dismissed in a heartbeat). Finally I managed to bring them down, mainly with maximized disintegrates (one of my favorite spells which was useless until Mask clerics ran out of blindness spells) & Isaac's greater missile storms by Safiya and careful Greater lightning storm/heal tactics by my PC (Actually he was once killed but Kaelyn's restoration took care of of it) but damn that was close. Great battle Vampiric feast definetly is must have spell. PC in middle of enemy swarm + vampiric + few AoE spells like greater lightning storm to finish them off = perfect win
  21. Which reminds me, that encounter with Mask followers was tough as ****, one of the hardest encounters. I wasn't prepared at all for that battle, I thought they would give me quests.
  22. I'd rank ME as space opera (which borderlines both fantasy and scifi )
  23. LOL wow, you and Tale must be a newbie tag team to this forum. Both of you really need to enter reality, Mass Effects is going to do HUGE numbers and be a top earner and most played game of the year easily. And how do you know the combat sucks? Since the pre sales havent even gone out yet? Sorry but its not Nov 20th yet little one. Let me guess, you call Mass Effects in the Fantasy genre (and not sci fi) as well dont you. How about you actually play the game before you pass judgement. Uhh, you were sarcastic there, right? Right? "Both of you really need to enter reality, Mass Effects is going to do HUGE numbers and be a top earner and most played game of the year easily." So I criticize game and I need to enter reality? 'Mmkay. ME will do huge numbers, no doubt, will be top earner, no doubt, most played game of the year, not likely. Sell success doesn't correlate with goodness of game. Oblivion was huge hit yet bad RPG. What's point of this part of post? "And how do you know the combat sucks?" From videos, previews and that one review that's out already. Heck, that review was raving hype but hilariously it did cricize combat pretty much (and some other aspects too). And yet it got 10/10. Hilarious. "Let me guess, you call Mass Effects in the Fantasy genre (and not sci fi) as well dont you." Nope, not from what I've seen. Originally it looked like it would have some sort of magic a la Dark Power, but the explanation for these abilities is tied with black matter/black energy (can't remember which one) so technically it is not of supernatural origin. Of course, that's just typical space opera jargon and in all but name that's magic. But that's not the point here. "How about you actually play the game before you pass judgement." Sure, I might be horribly wrong here, but so far I've yet to see anything that would interest me in this and take back my words. Just read last part of TA's post would you. I haven't claimed my opinion being factual.
  24. With bare hands, of course Unlocked "optimal" good ending and I loved Kaelyn's part. In fact that part made ifference and the fact I couldn't tear wall down didn't irk me as much as it did - long live guerilla warfare! I just created my Neutral Evil tiefling Wizard/Fighter/EK/Rogue for my deliciously evil campaign. If you're wondering what's the reason for rogue: I have able learner feat and with 1 level in rogue I could "unlock" all of its skills, meaning I have just as high bluff/diplomacy/intimade skills as single classed rogue. And since rogue levels don't affect tiefling's multiclass penalty I only suffer 20 % penalty for fighter levels (since EK levels stack with my wiz levels ) Fellow Spirit Shaman players: Any idea why I couldn't get any new spells after some point in epic levels? in the end I had 24 levels as spirit shaman and 5 as fighter, but IIRC for last 4 spirit shaman levels I didn't get any new spells, unlike Gann who got to choose new spells every level.
