Like this Except unintentional

It's actually really, really good. I quit soda except as a mixer and my cousin left some over when she was here for my son's bday.

Thanks for mentioning that, now I'm drinking. Speaking of nuTrek, John de Lancie let it slip that Picard is filming seasons 2 and 3 together. It's been rumored that they were going to do that but since season 3 hasn't been officially okayed it makes me wonder since rumors also say that Picard is only going to be 3 seasons in total. Hopefully they actually manage to plan the story out this time.

I just went Bacardi Gold and Mango Pepsi. It's just what I had on hand, this wasn't premeditated, but it's actually pretty good.

I just re-watched Blade and while I don't think the CGI was ever that good it looks especially terrible now.

Ooh, ooh. My top 3 T2 The Abyss True Lies

Sweet Tooth reminded me that goblinization day was just a couple of days ago. Though they just spontaneously changed we should have had elves and dwarves being born to human parents for about a decade now. There was also a virus that killed a bunch of people. Now that's a Netflix series I want.

I watched the Tom Clancy thing on Amazon. I liked it. Michael B Jordan was great but the rest of the movie was a little off somehow and not just because I kept expecting Kate Mara and Miles Teller to show up.

Inherent leftist racism against conservative minorities. All jokes aside, I agree about his story being inspirational but since I disagree with him on almost everything he remains my least favorite. Maybe some of the other conservative judges can catch up in time. Bonus points to Kavanaugh who also had his Anita Hill moment but handled it way worse.

I still always think of this when it comes to Jason Statham

I did half and half and served it over tagliatelle. We're out of that so it's going to be spaghetti today, I think.

Made a Bolognese yesterday and have been enjoying that.

I've only ever refunded my Bloodlines 2 pre-order. It was pretty simple and quick but not click one or two buttons easy like I expected.

I always at least skim this thread because it's generally been the most active one for a while. I dunno why I can't just click mark as read. Also, the mention of rape gangs immediately brought to mind Tasha Yar. Maybe I'll go watch TNG for the unknownth time.

Lately I've been making mine by sprinkling the bottom with a little five spice powder and rubbing the top with salt and a little pepper. I tend to eat it plain or with ramen but when I serve it to others I usually provide hoisin and garnish with green onion. I'll even occasionally make buns because my son likes it like that.

We finished it just to see it to the end but have no interest in seeing what happens next.

Err on the side of caution... by NOT allowing vaccinations against a deadly virus. Okay then.

Making my way through Shadow and Bone on Netflix today and it's taking everything I've got. Taking a break from all this YA sure would help a lot.

The problem is that you're suggesting that BLM, and not for the first time, be something that it is not. As I've said, there are many groups dedicated to gang violence. 1 and 4. You've gotten feedback on this before from me and a few others and most of the people that you're getting more outrageous feedback from aren't American. 2. This is silly. Heart disease kills more black people than anything else, why aren't BLM talking about that? They're not about black lives after all so what are they really about??? It's like the joke about showing up to a breast cancer march with signs that say all cancers matter. Again, BLM is about a certain set of issues, that's it. Even if they did decide to be about this issue then they'd just get attacked for that as well. Like, if police brutality and racial violence are really issues then why are they now talking about gang violence. 3. What makes you think that nobody is concerned? Because BLM hasn't changed it's goal to combat this issue? Just because the groups that champion this fight aren't in the spotlight doesn't mean they don't exist or that there aren't many of them. There are probably a lot of reasons why gang violence doesn't get the same level of attention. It's not a polarizing issue, nobody is pro gang violence or denies it exists or whatever.

I think it'll be cancelled before it comes to that. That doesn't celebrate the right people.

Speaking of school, my wife was just freaking out because she had a group assignment due and all of her teammates turned in too much content. Their assignment had a maximum of 35 pages and they were at 46 so she's spent the last couple of hours furiously trying to edit it down. I gave it a quick read and it's full of so much fluff and filler it makes me wonder if these folks have only ever had assignments with word and page minimums.

I don't know why but it always seems like you are fishing for reasons to validate your dislike of BLM. BLM isn't about gangs and gang related violence and if you don't want to support them because of their focus on police brutality and racially motivated violence then that's perfectly fine. There are many other organizations and movements for you to support that focus on gangs if that's what you're interested in.
