  1. I'm coming around to the idea of them just patching and moving on. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the game my first playthrough but much less so on subsequent ones. The reason for me is that the systems aren't complex or interesting enough to keep me engaged and I'm not sure that more content, even though I don't mind it, is the answer.
  2. Regarding the Soviet Union, I have several In-laws that miss a lot of things about the old the old days. If I had to describe the biggest difference I see between them and what I see with most Americans is that they don't think they're all millionaires in waiting and would rather trade a a higher ceiling for a higher floor, if that makes sense.
  3. It was built in 1967. I'll check it out tomorrow and see what's what. Last time I think the problem was a light in master bathroom or something similar. I had to call an electrician and he replaced some stuff in the electrical box
  4. Did anyone else get very specific instructions on what to do when you get pulled over by cops in school? They told us to do what the Army guy did and pull over in a well lit area if possible. They also told us to put our license, registration, and insurance on the dash so that we don't have to reach for anything and also to turn on the interior lights and put all the windows down.
  5. I think I need to find an electrician. The outlets where my microwave plugs in have stopped working and we've had some weird issues with various outlets before. Old house problems I'm guessing but I hope it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg as I'm starting to run low on those. I never even realized how much I use the microwave until I've had to heat something up on the stove or in the oven for while. I also find myself wondering if I'm really hungry enough to put forth that much effort.
  6. I read that the cop who pepper sprayed and threatened the Army LT in VA got fired. That's something, right?
  7. Will Smith movie 'Emancipation' abandons Georgia over voting restrictions Was wondering when this was going to happen considering how much gets filmed there nowadays
  8. Seaspiracy: Netflix documentary accused of misrepresentation by participants. NGOs and experts quoted in film say it contains ‘misleading’ claims, erroneous statistics and out-of-context interviews Obviously there are problems with fishing and how we treat the ocean in general but be warned before you watch this type of thing.
  9. U.S. Church Membership Falls Below Majority for First Time and now for something completely different
  10. I just wanted to see a movie where the superhero's "powers" were faith and prayer as opposed to traditional superhero powers. I'm also curious as to how it would play out because most Christian movies I've seen are beyond insultingly terrible. I also feel like religion really needs a win right now.
  11. White cheddar popcorn drizzled with black truffle oil
  12. I've got to go watch both the Wild Bunch, which I'm sure I've seen at least in part but a very long time ago, and Outland, which I've never even heard of before today.
  13. Last night I made pan seared jerk salmon with mango-pineapple salsa and couscous. Should have made it spicier.
  14. Everclear and OJ. I'm not ****ing around.
  15. I've always wanted to like Westerns but for some reason I can never get into them. I find most old ones too silly and most newer ones too dreary.
  16. Huh, I always thought Zor was English. I know he lives in NZ but I thought he was from there for some reason. Must update stalker.txt. Same
  17. I'm kinda sad it isn't a Christian superhero movie
  18. Fact Check: How Colorado, Georgia Voting Laws Differ Despite Conservatives' Claims I saw some of those claims about CO being just as bad or worse than GA in my news feed and had to post this
  19. The long-lost Lord of the Rings adaptation from Soviet Russia is a glorious fever dream
  20. Bruins afterwards according to wikipedia. Just one season though.
  21. I'm now eligible for the vaccine but no place in 25 miles has had any openings. I want to request that they put each one in a different syringe then tape them all together and then stab me with all of them at once. Seems like a reasonable request. I also have a very "My Secret Identity" type of problem in that I'm afraid that the needle will break on contact with my skin. Crazy people problems.
  22. That link has the IMDb link on the left side of the page https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106308/ It was one of my favorite movies as a kid but it's not exactly a family affair and it's definitely not from 2021.
  23. Never forget that corporations are people, my friend
  24. Finding Ohana is the only one I've seen and it was okay
