  1. I buy candy every year and just put it in the building lobby. I'll probably dress up as a sexy ninja so that way I don't have to buy a costume.
  2. Was playing DDO some more but now my client crashes every session so I think I'll go back to CK2
  3. We have standing desks that drop down to regular desks. There is only one guy in the whole office who only stands and most in the office just sits the whole time. I mostly just sit and take breaks to walk around the building to stretch my legs. I also take push up breaks so maybe I'm a little weird too but I need to get in at least 100 at work
  4. Marijuana is officially listed as a hallucinogen by the Controlled Substances Act. Look it up. I've not seen many conspiracy theorists that trust what the government says. So that's nice, I guess.
  5. ^or maybe he's one of those hollow earth conspiracy folks
  6. Snow today and temps in the low 30s when yesterday we were in the mid 80s
  7. TR was a man of his time, like a lot of historical figures. He had views that today would certainly be considered racist in a patronizing way. That we think differently now says something about us, not him. $20 says whoever did it thought he was a civil war general and had no clue who he was. http://nypost.com/2017/10/26/teddy-roosevelt-statue-doused-in-red-paint/ Maybe they just really wanted to paint the town red and they started with good ol Teddy because of how fun Robin Williams played him in those Museum movies
  8. Stranger things have happened
  9. Just picked up Elex and the D&D bundle
  10. Some interesting numbers and new labels And here's a quiz because those are fun

  12. Wow. That's harsh and I totally agree
  13. It's just a little toggle at the bottom right of the screen and it also asks again for groupfinder stuff. It'd be tedious to keep switching back and forth but totally doable.
  14. Even Benedict Arnold has a monument... well his boot does The Latest: VP: Spain ‘gives us no option’ but to secede
  15. Up to episode 5 of the Orville and I do like it more than Discovery so far. I like how they get Trek bit actors in the show and gives me unexpected warm fuzzies trying to place where I've seen them. I haven't caught up on the last couple STD episodes but we haven't really cared to watch.
  16. Doomsday Prepper Sends 15,000 Pounds of Food to Puerto Rico
  17. I played the first for maybe a week (probably less) and I really didn't get into it so I won't be along for the second ride
  18. Vampire! ..or something else My money is on one of those two
  19. Liked for the Trek reference PS Trump's refugee ban ends, new screening rules coming
  20. DDO Got my drow warlock to level 7 (rank 32)
  21. EA 'Doesn't Care What the Players Want, Only What Players Will Pay For Says Ex-BioWare Dev
  22. A Texas town is offering residents relief grants for damage sustained by Hurricane Harvey — but applicants must first promise not to boycott Israel. Also, this Federal judge refuses to erase Joe Arpaio’s conviction despite Trump pardon
  23. I hear that a lot from people who visit the states.
  24. Was a study I think I posted before but people in general don't like to see bad things happen to children (obviously) and dogs. Adults, unless we know them personally, we just care less about.
