  1. LOL true true, they are too busy being depressed about their dead end jobs When I asked him, he was half ducked down under the counter doing something, hardly paying attention. He probabally picked up a few of my keywords that came out of my mouth and pieced it together "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2" to something like.. Knight Wars 2 LOL probabally thinking I'm just a kid and probabally thinking wouldnt know myself so just telling me some crap which he would think that I would believe hence getting me to move along to get another customer Yesterday at the movies, the girl at the ticketbox thing called my mate first, and he said 1 ticket or whatever, giving him a student or concession ticket, whatever the hell they are called. Then I was next in line, and she asked if I wanted a "Child" or "Student" Ticket. CHILD?! <_< I'm damn well 15, I dont think I would look like a child. Ok well enough of my stories, well thanks anyone for your imput, Ill just have to scout around as jedi exile said and ill check the other EB stores, with more dedicated staff, or just other shops in general. Then if all else fails well ill come to my good friend the internet Only problem with EB is, as ive probabally said, if this is true what the guy said, which is probabally isnt now I might not be able to get it due to their sorta "Getting rid of the crap games, and old stock sale 50% off sale" So once its gone its kinda gone unless they get new stock. But ill just try different sources. Thanks everyone! If you have anything else to talk about, more advice, more teasing of those guys behind counters (jokes) what your encounters are, more then happily post away
  2. not enough dialogue in kotor2, not enough interaction between characters. The only time that you acctually had character interaction between 2 or more npcs was when you where in the ebon hawk at some point. What happened to the good old coversations between npcs at any random point, like in kotor1 how carth and bastila, carth and mission had discussions based on the current stuff in the galaxy, what happened to that good aspect. And I liked in kotor1 there was sorta an influence factor but an invisible one, you where uncovering their total secrets and all and you had to progress further through the game to understand and unlock what they where all about, so you couldnt get it all at once, you had to work and work at it. But on the other hand this was replaced by influence which was sorta a bad thing IMO cos for most characters you where forced to do something that you didnt want to do, lets say make a lightside decision just to impress someone like the handmaiden although you could be darkside, and this could screw everything up, sometimes just to uncover their backstory and then jedify them.
  3. Phew, thats a bit of relief I should look at other outlets, and other stores and if all fails ill end up turning to the net. The only reason I go there is because its got the largest range of PC games. But maybe they will get more stock and maybe like ive said, another store might have it
  4. Ok, after the movies me n my mate went to EB (electronics Botique) to blow our dough on a alright game. I asked the dewd at the counter after minutes of looking and trying to find what I am after. I asked whether KotOR2 was on PC, and how much, details ect. He said that it is no longer selling or being made for PC for it is a discontinued series or something like that, I didnt fully catch his words but it was something on the lines of discontinued series Well instantly it came to my head, CRAP! KotOR is done for. I havent seen either KotOR1 or KotOR2 games recently, last time I saw was ages, months ago. What he meant was either A) KotOR2 isnt making anymore money, not being bought, not good reviews hence not being manufactured B) KotOR1 and 2 are not being manufactured again C) The KotOR series are screwed for good. Now that wasnt pleasent news to me especially wanting to buy KotOR. KotOR2 on the other hand is still being made for the Xbox although I didnt see it. He must have got the wrong thing, seriously you know how those guys are. So Im going to inquire around other places other EB places to see if they have it. Because it was the 'stocktake' sorta sale, although the end of the finantial year is over, its another one of those 60% sales where they wana get rid of all their junk. Now anyone seen KotOR on the shelves recently? Does anyone have any suggestions to how I could get a new copy of it?
  5. I shamefully had a friend ruin it for me, he came along and told me the WHOLE THING ABOUT YOU BEING REVAN. Now seriously that has just screwed up my KotOR1 experience so to speak He isnt my friend anymore
  6. What some crazy options, I say reconsider what you say in the future Time for a Comic Book Guy analergy Worst Poll Ever Poll options that is
  7. Yep, just stay humans Yeah lets fully go some jerk race to ruin the series Besides in that era humans are a dominant species now lets please stick with them screw the other species
  8. Peragus, only good for the first time.... ...nah I wouldnt even say that
  9. KotOR1, after they revealed your Revan, all you hear is REVAN, REVAN, REVAN, REVAN and so on The convos with Bao-Dur could have lasted more, now come on he could of talked of the war similar to Candy did. G0-T0 Incredibly useless. Thats all I have for now, good ideas though
  10. Just a topic Im setting up about what bad experiences you have had during your KotOR journey. Either game is fine. I would like you to post down your ideas, about what ruined your game, what did you not want to have been there or happened. What was a complete shock and you never wanted to go through? In Kashyyyk I didnt want to go into the Shadowlands, it just kept spanning and going and going. Well in KotOR1, after the Leviathan and going to my last planet (Korriban) to find the Star Forge, I never really wanted to do that whole quest thing, I did it so many times, had to go to bed reload, and fight all those baddies again After completing it, I was forced into siding with one of the Darkside goons and I never got it right with the dialogue, I always sided with the wrong guy Ok well when I was on my way to the Star Forge I was like - " (w00t) Finally! I'm going to the Star Forge which I have only heard of and going to give Malak a kick in the pants!" Low and behold, ZAP! goes the Ebon Hawk and Im faced with another Planet to traverse and complete. So that was pretty disapointing the Star Forge left for another day to conquer . My KotOR2 bad experiences are, definately! Number 1, Peragus. First time around it was pretty good but it seemed to keep going, and it was pretty depressing with all the bodies and droids everywhere . Peragus was one of those levels where you wanted to get off ASAP, the Ebon Hawk was right there, but the only thing in the way was a locked door . KotOR2 was very short also, I was disapointed in Dantooine it was short and I didnt expect it to be so.. well.. crap. Well that all i can think of for the moment, I gotta go now and Ill post down later my ideas and thoughts on the matter.
  11. funny stuff. Atton running into Czerka, and the spinning around.
  12. Peragus was one of those levels and stages, where you liked it the first time, but you never want to go through it again, it was shorter then Taris but Taris had everything it was basically more then a prologue and a beginning. Peragus would be better without the isolation.
  13. Never done it, kept playing through
  14. Anything Red satisfies me
  15. I would like Revan and Exile included into your part perhaps, but at the end, or atleast seen and mentioned. Better cinematics More freedom And I would like to be the time period not as depressing as TSL was
  16. I dont think the jedi robes would fit Pamela Anderson up top, if you know what I mean
  17. LOL yeah, the running into the Czerka place, the running towards kreia, the random zooming in on his face and him spinning around LOL
  18. LMAO its just the same scenes over and over Atton being the goon he is
  19. Yeah I know how you feel, Ive basically expressed all my ideas and dont really feel like doing it over and over, because its never as good as the original post. I hate trying to find them as well in your posts lol Yeah it was basically divided up into probabally 2 sections, 1 the massive bit, peragus, 2 the small bit, the harbinger wow was that a relief btw where is the "AH! BURN IT" Option?
  20. No, Acctually thats Dxun... DXUN! *shivers* Its like the Shadowlands revisited and gets boring after you play kotor2 more then twice. Iziz was alright Nar Shadaa was the best in Kotor2 IMO, It was like Corucsant but dark and corrupt, no order and it was interesting to see what the wars effects where upon people, and there where so many side quests *drool* and so much opportinuty for darkside actions and turning your party to the darkside Dantooine K1 FTW, it was like a place for inner peace, very tranquil and peacefull and just lookign and the background, the endless plains the music and the sunset
  21. I believe that this has been done
  22. Not one based on force powers that you would like to see. Lets mould this thread so that it stays unlocked because I would like to discuss this in a non bloated 188 page topic. I would like to visit Tatooine but under my idea of something in kotor3, instead of singly travelling to 1 location like you did in Kotor1 only going to anchorhead. I would like to travel to Mos Espa, Mos Eisley and Anchorhead as well as other major settlements in Tattoine, and other planets. I would like to see NarShadaa again, but more of it and different places, Coruscant would be alright, Alderaan and some other places teeming with life
  23. No evidentlly is doesnt NO?
  24. KotOR2 and its subliminal sexist messages! Damn that Exile!
