  1. ... ... ... Shield Bearer/Evoker. Potions of Final Stand. Not only can you blow yourself up, you can survive it.
  2. Some Cipher powers need to be looked at, but the real problem is that all the enemies are tissue paper. With no pressing threats to CC, and no loooong fights to take advantage of the Cipher resource system, they flounder. Wait for the POTD rebalance at least.
  3. Evoker/Beckoner. Evoker for fire spells that sometimes double. Beckoner for summoning many things that spit fire. While singing chants that burn everything.
  4. What combination of abilities and modals creates the fastest attack speed with double pistols? Just raw ridiculous speed. Like a veritable flurry of bullets for as long as possible.
  5. Who is the best summoner in the game? Is it a single classed Conjuror? Druid/Chanter?
  6. Is it a meaningful increase in duration, like an extra round or two of attacks?
  7. Wait. Does this mean a Conjurer gets no bonus from their +1 Power Level to Conjuration spells?
  8. How many games can you name where every achievement could be accomplished in a single playthrough?
  9. Thirded. Guts is a Barbarian. Especially with One Stands Alone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qacgb2b8LVU
  10. I know it says Defensive Shooting exists on the wiki, but whenever I level a Ranger to 12 through console commands, I never get the option to take that talent. Which is a shame, because I was brainstorming a Tank Ranger for Solo Triple Crown.
  11. Most Kickstarters are a labor of love. They often require more money than they intake to reach all stretch goals and create a finished product. Would you do all that extra work for free? If so, I'm sure I've got some work you could do for me for free!
  12. Auto-Attack is already in the game. Auto-Cast would be... interesting. I'm not sure how useful it would be in a game like this, where there are a small number of harder battles. Compared to other games where there are a large number of easy battles. Unless you're playing on Easy/Normal that is.
  13. 12 is the highest I've seen. Which means 10 + the +2 Mechanics Gloves will handle anything in the game.
  14. If I put a sword in your hand, and you couldn't hit me even after a dozen of your best swings, would you reconsider your tactics? Do you mean playing the game so well that you take one step and the enemies stop chasing you, then you take another step and they turn around to chase you again, and then you take a step back and they stop chasing you again, until some of them forget to chase you and you only have to fight one guy at a time? Personal skill like that?
  15. Well, the first order of business is deciding if it is cheese. So you pump your deflection so high the AI cannot hit you, but still continues to try... Is that equivalent to attacking an enemy who is just standing there bugged and not attacking you back? Is the result any different?
  16. The biggest problem with animal companions is that they do not scale to the difficulty. That means their defenses are often VERY low, which draws enemies like flies to honey. On PotD enemies will almost always drop what they are doing to murder your pet in a second flat.
  17. One strange character coming up! Ivy (Female) Natureborn Druid (Bear Spiritshift) Might 10, Constitution 10, Dexterity 4, Perception 18, Intelligence 18, Resolve 18. She is your tank. Hold the Line + Sword & Shield Style + Other Tanky Talents. NO DIRECT DAMAGE SPELLS! (CC is okay)
  18. We know this is PotD, but is this a solo run? Resolve is useful because: Chanters make decent tanks, and Resolve directly contributes to tanking. Resolve is heavily involved in many dialog choices, and may improve your roleplaying experience. If you use a bow, Resolve prevents enemies from interrupting you. Resolve is NOT useful if you are: Never getting attacked because you are in the back line shooting a bow.
  19. I just cry "Twist It!" Cool. They're an invulnerable statue. Like an offensive Withdraw.
  20. Pale Elf Chanter Str 7, Con 18, Dex 7, Per 18, Int 10, Res 18 Rautani (Excellent Newbie Items) Pros: Fire / Ice resistance (especially if you get Rym's Cloak) let you effortlessly handle shades and phantoms. Fire / Ice resistance let you stand in the middle of your wizard nukes (fan of flames, chill fog, etc). Stats are not so low you feel like a total powergamer. Cons: ??? Not a Moon Born I guess.
  21. 1) Congratulations on killing him the second time, and doing the brave thing and going through with it because of the Ironman commitment, 2) Those are some brutal stats, and a very nice picture. 3) I wish you could get the solo achievement if you only recruit follows to immediately sacrifice them for stats. >=)
