  1. While this is true, he gets really great later on. The issue is, a very bad start just got even worse with this patch. There is a mod over up at Nexus to revert Chill Fog, but I need to wait for the GoG Hotfix.
  2. I'm doing a new play-through after this new patch, and me and Aloth low level just really blows compared to vanilla build. (blows more) It's SO much slower Go go race to Dryford Village even faster this play-through to get Grieving Mother, my real Player_Name.
  3. The issue is Wizard starting was already slower than any other class, but now it got downgraded even more. Chill Fog was perfect. Now my tanks with their crappy pathing, if they step 1 foot forward they hit my 4-5x stacked Chill Fog and get destroyed. Not only that, but once the fight is over I actually have to wait for it to dissipate before going forward. This is incredibly annoying. The nerf was a bad design decision
  4. that's pretty risky, i sometimes loose stats last time i tried it as well as paladin/priest religions.
  5. Agreed it is amazing, up there with old CRPG's. Not the same but still great. Although I would like minor tweaks to some stuff like person specific stealth, low lvl wizards, and pathing.
  6. From last place caster to "just replace me with another Druid/Cipher already"
  7. The game is pretty easy (not that this is bad, the IE games were easier), so you can really get away with anything. The reason people are upset is because Wizard is already worse than Cipher/Druid and this just widens the gap.
  8. at lvl 9 your T1 spells becompe per encouter, at lvl 11 your T2 spells also become per encounter. I know, and that is (IMO) the totally wrong way to have done it. It should have been a slow progression starting at low level. Would simply be more fun.
  9. The combat system is great, the spell system can use some small tweaks though. I would suggest making a select few Wizard/Druid/Priest spells from Teir1/2/3 very slowly become per encounter as you level up (beginning at level 2). Not the big and powerful ones, rather the minor ones. For example, the small buffs, the weapon conjures, minor-heals, minor-missiles, small radius casts. More or less to alleviate tedium for those specced to be more pure casters, before late game level 9 and 11.
  10. Do the three retaliation items stack? There is also a retaliation shield/cape.
  11. I find druid to have a much better version of all their dmg/aoe spells. But while Wizard has crazy CC, Druid has healing and okay CC.
  12. Druid/Cipher remain superior to Wizard, and this patch just widened the gap.
  13. As of todays new patch none of Wizards t1/2 are that good tho, making his progression far more underwhelming than release version. Druid/Cipher were already a bit better, now they are more so.
  14. They get good, but druid/cipher usually are better. On really hard fights (very rare) Wizard has insane CC which comes in handy, but for the most part the other two are superior.
  15. SJW double standards, kill anyone you want, but call someone their actual scientific/factual gender and you're a devil.
  16. They can't make shapeshift scale but they can cater to a bunch of angry twitter SWJ who didn't even buy the game...
  17. Weren't you one that in earlier topic asked Obsidian to make changes how wizards work because you didn't like how they worked? And now you are offended when somebody else asked them to make changes in their game and they did? I am bit confused why you think that one change is against all the morals and other is just good service. game balance concerns =/= catering to annoying internet SJW fad concerns
  18. I have personality disorder, Aloth offends me. Remove him or else.
