  1. I wonder if some of the "haters" out there even tried LEGO SW or not. I mean jodo kast 5 tried it and dosnt play it, which is a fair comment for him to make since he did try it. Note: I am not Implying ALL the haters just flame it because of its LEGOness!.
  2. This is in the Star Wars Universe forum " (w00t) lol [Not that anyone would ever encourage such a thing :D]
  3. Agreed, because with Light and Dark there is Balance in the force.
  4. a simple program to use is Windows inbuilt CD/DVD burner, just drag n drop, then write as a data file. I dont use it tho, its slow, so I use something else, something better...
  5. erm, she kinda died and left them in the hands of Obi Wan, Yoda and Mr Organa, so I wouldnt exactly call that motherly (w00t). A true mother would not give up on life because her husband became a Sith Lord! A true mother would be there for her children I would say a good mother would be Anakins mum, who knew he would have a better life (initially) off Tatooine, so kinda like letting her son go to University, only for him to drop out and into a dictators assassin
  6. It is a very good game, but be warned, the single player campaign can feel repetetive, and I feel that some of the Rebel units in particular are silly/inappropriate. Thats why I only play Imperial when I do play it, as I never really liked the Rebels in this game. The balance of this game is strict Rock-Paper-Sissors, like a bomber is bad against fighters which are bad against corvettes which are bad against capitol ships which are in turn bad against bombers! Dont get me wrong, it is still good to kill all those misserable Ewoks with the Emperors lightning and AT-ATs
  7. As my title Implies, I am looking forward to LEGO Star Wars II, considering the amount of fun I had in the 1st game. The question I pose to you all, What do you think about LEGO Star Wars Games? At 1st I thought "bah, this is for kids", but after playing the 1st game, I am now excited about the second game. It is a very fun game that removes the seriousness from Star Wars, plus it fun killing Jar Jar Binks in the cantina
  8. What did you say that could offend people if you dont mind me asking? was it the english language beta tester thing? If so how is that a problem, the team needs people to communicate bugs clearly and with clarity. If a person cant communicate clearly then that person shouldnt be a beta tester. Hard fact of life, not a racial thing IMO. Just like if Team Gizka were German, I would have no hope in joining the beta team Sorry to hear your departure, you seemed like the most active beta tester on those forums
  9. You can have that, while I take the ship obliterating Death Star II behind it :D
  10. Well the Organa Family was mentioned in K1 and Mira mentions Alderan in K2 "
  11. I always try to Master Power and Flurry so I can alternate when I get bored. Does anyone use Master Critical for the PC. I always give it to Aton and Mira cos I want to see the attack animations. I have to say that Wave is better than stasis in that it deals with damage and has a high chance of stunning them, whereas Stasis just freezes them at a distance. Wave is very effective for the Koriban Hisiss glitch to make you reach level 50 however, the enemies on Trayus Academy are really tough at high levels, I was even gunned down once as a jedi Master by those darn Sith Commandos but not to worry, I got my revenge when i reloaded Hmm, I wonder if those Peragus droids have an animation for Force Crush?
  12. Thats like asking how long a piece of string is :D
  13. The game looks stunning, but im dissapointed I will never play it maybe they will port it to PC a few years from now when the hype is gone with Halo 3 Now what I would like to see in this game are "true" worlds, but by that I mean a planet with more than one eco system. the only Kotor game to show that was 2 with Telos. I mean you get your "desert" planets and "jungle" planets, but if you look at our planet you can find all known eco systems. I wonder how many planets you would be able to visit, I mean the universe is infinite... I hope BioWare use their creativity to create a new kind of eco system that is truely *alien* [i.e. more than just deserts or jungles with alien animals ]
  14. Give me a mouse over a controller for FPS any day. I admit it works out ok on Xbox controller, but nothing like the old school Mouse and w a s & d keys
  15. That does look very promising and original(ish)
  16. I was looking through the initial screenshots, and one thing that caught my eye (other than Super Star Destroyer :D) was the planet Mandalore [its the bottom most one]. hmm, I wonder if you get to hire/kill wats left of the Mandalorians, or maybe they are already extinct
  17. According to a new QA session with an EA exec on C&C3, the sidebar will be back! here is the link: http://pc.ign.com/articles/705/705757p1.html
  18. I dont think the 5th option could work IMO. Im not sure how I would want the game to begin, but I do want it to end knowing what happens to Revan, Exile and the Real Evil behind the mandalorian wars and possibly destroying them. EDIT: I voted for the join Jedi on Cor or Sith on Kor, as that would give you a huge replayability value, with both games going off in different directions. eg as Jedi, you visit 4 planets to explore Revan's descision to go into unkown and follow him either to help him (LS Revan) or kill him (DS Revan), while as a Sith, you could go to 4 planets retracing Exiles steps, going to Mal V, then following him to unkown to either join DS Revan and Kill LS Exile or join DS Exile to Kill LS Revan etc
  19. It was just an example of how they took a plausibly realistic Original and turned it into a cheesy expansion. I loved it at the time, but it is still cheese, and now its just way too cheesy, like looking back at the 60's . Back on Topic, I think LucasArts should have set it in the clone war era, simply because you had two proper standing army's fighting each other. This game expects you to believe that the Rebels were more powerful than the imperials! I mean it was just rediculous that the Rebels had those double barrelled tanks (Mamoths anyone?) and those artillery units. They were a rag tag bunch of freedom fighters, how do you expect them to have a standing army like that. If it was Clones Vs Droids it would make much more sense IMO. I bet the next EAW game will be set in Episode II era "
  20. We're not touching it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm glad to hear that. I don't think this scene presents a problem. It's called "Death of the Ebon Hawk" because we see the Hawk fall to its death... We do not see it die, however, which allows for whatever outcome is desired. If Bao-Dur and T3 (both notably absent in the endings, even in the cut content) were aboard repairing the Hawk, then there is basis for saying that it fell, but managed to restart its engines before it was smashed. In the LS ending this was significant, because the Hawk is necessary to save the Exile, when Malachor V is destroyed. In the DS ending it doesn't matter, though, because Malachor V remains unharmed. "If it ain't broken, don't fix it." <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Amen to that
  21. I liked the Piano Music, it seemed to be fitting for the final part in the trilogy. If Halo 2 will only be for Windows Vista, will Halo 3 only be available for Windows Vista 2? This is unfair of Microsoft. I refuse to buy an Xbox just to play 1 game, I will wait for PC
  22. Charisma is good for using opposite aligned force powers, eg LSers using Force Storm, or DSers using Master Valour etc. Im torn between DEX and WIS. They are both good, but since many more items boost Dex, I would say Wisdom
  23. No offense intended for non native english speakers, but I believe the American expression is "Lunch" money Make sure you dont choose "I dont care for your reasons..." line, select the "You have broken the law, I have to turn you in" line, but I believe you can work out for yourself which is DS
  24. It does make sense *if* its explained, for which Obsidian did not do I think. Maybe Team Gizka can add that cutscene of Kriea Frying T3 (Im not sure if it was already done by Obsidian or not) when Exile is DS only? that could help explain it :D
  25. I was just refering to that cutscene whether or not it was Obsidians intention for it to be in there, and mentioning an example of what I think Obsidian didnt intend to be in. Ofcourse there are those well known bugs, but maybe Obsidian had a wakky idea of The Ebon Hawk Falling into the abyss then off camera get its engines running on time to save itself from crashing, then fly off to the Academy to save the Exile. I mean come to think of it that cut scene might not even be appropriate to the DS game, because why would the Ebon Hawk only fall into the abyss *Specifically* due to the Exiles DS alignment? What the DS Exile makes the rocks more unstable because of his DS aura?, thats rubbish, and isnt even explained. Team Gizka should either cut it from both endings or leave it in for both IMO .
