  1. Its about time a thread like this was started :D. My vote as per the rest goes to Goto as worst character ever! Edit: Cheers DarthVala for this poll , this is one for the records...
  2. IMO, a gungan NPC would be worse than Disciple AND Goto COMBINED. And thats saying alot!
  3. Isnt it a little pointless by that point, considering there is only Kriea left to kill <_<
  4. Indeed there there are a few: http://www.pcgamemods.com/mod/18505.html http://www.pcgamemods.com/mod/11275.html Would have to be an NPC for only DS. I dont think it could work having a "LS" Sith, because the "Sith" are evil by nature, and so wouldnt side with LS people. Just think Hanharr, hes an evil person who wouldnt want to hang out with the LS Exile.
  5. It would be interesting if the only two people in the poll were Disciple and Goto, as these are the least favourite chars. I would be curious to see who is voted "Worst Ever" between ONLY those 2
  6. Light Side Sith Seems like the best way to defeat the enemy is from within. What you said about the endgame depending on killing the Jedi Masters seems bugged, because I thought it should be about your LS/DS alignment like in the 1st game. oh well, yet another bug to add to the list...
  7. I thought i'd have some fun and warp to the Droid planet modules that can be downloaded from a variety of websites, and to me it looks like the core planet is done, with even a "Sith Base" section. sure its barran, but there are a hell of alot of battle droids to fight (pushover actually, despite the numbers, I was still able to defeat them at level 12). There are also many consoles aswell that seemed to have served some original purpose before the planet was cut. My question is how much of these things will remain intact, and will you try to fit them in with some storylines that the modders will implement, such as will you have a sith base or something similar? would you retain a mission that involves the planets core? will you allow the player to take over the security system? etc. It just seems shameful that the devs built this whole section of the game, complete with consoles (non workable I might ad), droids, mines (think Gotos yatch!) and crates, then throw it all away! That must seem like a drag, but to summarise: Rougly how much content is there that is already existing on the Driod planet can you leave in your mod? All your efforts are very much appreciated by the community im sure. Cheers
  8. Do you have any mods installed? They might make the game even buggier "
  9. This is why I always save, save, SAVE plenty of times. I have about 120 saves by the time I finish the game As to solving your problem, warping could do the trick.
  10. I want John Rambo, as he'll be able to take out everybody without a scratch! As for a non humanoid, I would love to have a Yoda like character around, because I could let him go up to a gang of thugs alone, they would tease him about his height, then he would kick all of their butts in 2 secs using the force!
  11. Dont take anything over 14, cos I think you spend more points per stat if you do. I still think you need more dex, as it helps you avoid hits too, but you could add them during the game. take note that if you want to repair T3 M4, a higher intelligence can help with that. There are many items in the game that can spawn your stats to very high levels (I had most of mine in the mid 20's by the end of the game) so by the time you get half way through the game, you will be complaining on how the sith managed to overwhelm everybody else
  12. This is a no brainer... HK-47 wins every time . Im not suprised nobody has voted for GoTo yet...
  13. Well I found out that the guy you can save on dantooine in the enclave (the mercs say he stayed behind... hes the one locked in the room that wants to sell you his crystals), well when you leave the jedi enclave, save the game before you speak with him. Now when you speak with him, ask to buy his "jedi equipment", and you will get 3 or so random items (one crystal, one lightsaber and one component typically). if you save before you speak with him, the random generator will produce different items. If you are a fussy player, you could just keep reloading and buying his stuff until you get what you want I got the silver about 3rd time I asked him. This is a way for those who dont want to mod/cheat
  14. I believe one way of doing it is through the merchants. I read somewhere that once you talk to a merchant and ask what he sells, his items will become fixed each time you go. so if you dont like what he sells, simply reload a game before you speak with him (maybe in another area too im not sure). Could someone please verify this technique plz, cheers.
  15. You can find out that HK 50 was on the Ebon Hawk (if you play the tutorial, you see him briefly). Before the Ebon Hawk, he was on the Harbinger before it intercepted the Ebon Hawk. 'tis all ingame, you just need to read every log and ask all the questions If you were refering to the HK 50's in general, then they came from the droid factory on Telos (which was cut). As for all the Telos coincidences, Im not suprised, since it is a major reconstruction site, and Bao Dur IS a technitian helping out with the restoration of Telos and all.
  16. In reply to your 1), I have never played BG before, so i didnt feel dissapointed about that. It did however feel familiar as you said, plus it wasnt a real suprise as Vrook all but tells you you are Revan, what with his speech about falling to the dark side "being an all too familiar path". Now going back on topic, I tried to play through the Droid factory modules just to see what it *could* be like, and it does have alot of promise, but alas I didnt play too much as it dosnt make alot of sense without HK 47 (I only had a save game from Telos )
  17. I have the Exile use the Silver single hilt lightsaber most of the time. sometimes i use Cyan too, but Silver is my favourite as it reflects my good side who dosnt follow the traditional Jedi order (blue, yellow and green lightsabers).
  18. 3) Kotor 2 was incomplete " 4) Peragus sucks!
  19. In jedi academy?!? The main villain of jedi academy was the ghost of Marka Ragnos, who certainly was never a woman. Speaking of KotOR, he was one of the dark lord of the Sith Empire, which are the ancestors of the "true" Sith... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Marka Ragnos was the guy that the sith woman (Tavion) was trying to ressurect, and when she does ressurect him (LS), you battle a super Tavion whom Ragnos "occupies", so technically its still a woman (with a mans soul ). I only mentioned Jedi Academy as it shows that the main Villan in command of the sith was a woman. I suppose you could think of Ragnos as a Sauron from Lord of the Rings, who dosnt get involved with battle plannings, just merely waiting there to be ressurected  And you could compare Tavion to Sauruman, ordering all the Orcks on the ground (only Tavion isnt posessed by Ragnos in the early stages, but merely wants to bring about the return of the sith, and she thinks she can do this by bringing back Marka Ragnos).
  20. or Wookiepedia (If you can trust it " )
  21. In general context, the female of a Lord is a Lady, but "Sith Lady" just sounds too cute for such a violent person
  22. Yep. I think I got it from Stoffe on the Lucas forums, but I have no idea. There's no readme file with it. I know I didn't download it on PCgamemods. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Quite coincidentally (or maybe not), someone on another forum asked about some Juhani Dialogue, and Stoffe replied with this: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=163818 I would post the file here myself, but I dont have permission, plus its his stuff. Edit: Were those the files you meant Mellypie. I downloaded them and they didnt have a readme file.
  23. Im sure for the sake of avoiding the "sexism" word, female Sith Lords are allowed. I remember in Jedi Knight 3: Jedi Academy wasnt the main villan a female Sith Lord (well the title she adopts anyway!)
  24. My Vote: Handmaiden, "because she's worth it", as in you get to train with her... "
  25. Now I dont know how many Kotor fans read all of the expanded universe stuff (I for one don't), but I think for most casual gamers, Canderous' remark was simply about a strange alien species which he briefly encountered (maybe to return in Kotor 3?), while for the Expanded Universe fans, maybe an easter egg/acknowledgement of the Expanded Universe. Simple.
