Nae, it should work when you 1st put them in the folder. But seriously, I can hardly tell a difference in that Harbinger one, they both look aweful. As to the scaling, what resolution are you actually playing at? If you are playing at 640x480, then it souldnt make a difference, as it will be scaling the 1600x1200 resolution to the lower one, making the patch useless. But seriously, I agree with Darth Blivion, Exile defeats 3 powerful Sith Lords, whereas Revan defeats former apprentice, a head master, and your aprentices aprentice! I mean Revan was stronger than all of these people to begin with, so it was only a matter of time for Revan to return to his position of power, whereas Exile was never more powerful than the 3 Sith lords to begin with, so he had to work and earn his victories.

No harm in using everything at your disposal to defeat Kriea, since you wont be fighting after that. Set up mines and activate stims and sheilds before convo, then use force powers, especially master speed.

Yea, so despite being a Sith Lord, you will have "good" Jedi following you and Vice Versa. I suppose they did it so that people dont complain and say "hey Goto is boring!", which he is, but at least with 0 influence you *should* get a background story.

Assasins can *sneak* by and only need to take the one critical shot. Thats the point of Assasins, they attack from the shadows, and if they do their job right (HK-47 would) then Nihilus would be slain in 1 shot :D . To the second point, everyones favourite modable encyclopedia, Wookipedia! Home of information that can be edited by anyone. I would take Wookiepedia with a pinch of salt.

The thing is there is only 1 Sith Lord (Palpatine) and 1 dark Jedi (Vader) in the original Trillogy Movies, plus your thousands of Storm Troopers. All he need do is Blaster deflect all the Storm Troopers to death [They are killed by their own weapons as Revan waits effortlessly], and once they are dead, he can vanquish Palpatine and his Apprentice Vader . All Palpatine needs to do is to fire the death star on the Ship Revan tries to board it on, thats the only way to stop him IMO. It worked for Malak ... sortof

What about droids. I think HK-47 could assasinate Nihilus, since Droids are void of the force too :D

Looks like you have an onboard graphics chip. They are no substitutes for real graphics cards in gaming <_< Maybe your machine just dosnt meet the minimum specs. I know my Laptops Go FX5200 wouldnt play Kotor 2 properly (The image was always broken and you couldnt make out anything) until I updated the drivers which solved the problem.

Dont forget that the HQ Movies patch ISNT all its cranked up to be. All they do is show them at 1600x1200 resolution instead of 640x480. There is no Anti Aliasisng or anything else going on. I play at 1280x1024, and I notice most of them are a bit better, tho the one with the Harbinger and the 3 Sith lords always look rubbish. I only have the patches because I have Broadband and the space for them :D. I believe if you search through the forums, there was an article which did an extensive review of the Music and Movies Patches, and most people agree that the Music patch is worth more than the Movies patch. EDIT: If you replaced the original movies with the HQ Movies, then it should play HQ Movies. Dont expect a breakthrough in the movie quality with this patch.

the problem with the jedi knight series is that its in the dodgy imperial remnant era which is dodge, would be much better if the game was longer and you could choose more and that it was in the OR era <{POST_SNAPBACK}> JK series isnt my favourite era (I will still play the game. My favourite era is kotor ), but it was the only SW game I could think of off hand that could have such lightsaber duels. If they had "Jedi Knight of the old republic", then that would be something, but as long as it dosnt get in the way of kotor 3. This is all ideas/speculation, as Im not sure which is the best SW period to set such lightsaber duels in. I can see them doing an "Obi Wan in the Clone Wars" game with lightsaber action with the Wii controller

I actually want to see the Player character start off with the Sith, then either continue the Sith teachings or be redeemed with the jedi. Its just boring how we always start off good. why not start off evil then show the redemption and returning to the light. I voted Jedi because as Benjamin Korr, you hardly see them, so if you see more of them then you can start off with the underdogs (Sith) and fight the Jedi

I would say Kotor 2 has more animations for lightsaber fights than Kotor 1 which used the exact same animation for every flurry and power attack , Kotor 2's lightsaber duels are better. If you want a challenge, keep strength low, that way you will keep missing

Agreed, although I think they get a bit more backstory than you imply, like GoTo suprisingly But the thing I dont get about the influence is that you can still get their backstory at zero influence!!! you would have thought at that level they would pretty much hate the Exiles guts, but that dosnt explain why they would be able to be jedified (but opposite alighnment). surely no influence means you cant manipulate them, hence they wouldnt even listen to you, so how could they become opposite side jedi (unless its kriea who teaches them?)

You see, that dosnt make sense if the Exile hasnt got the back story of Mandalore. Im sure Exile would be thinking "Who the hell is Canderous" when Kriea said that. I know the audience who has played kotor 1 will know Canderous, but the Exile didnt know Canderous like Revan did.
