My first game I played as a mage but grew board of it. I'm used to being the melee player and not mostly a spell caster. I generally took control of another character like Sten or Alistair and let the AI control my character. My current game I'm more happy with it. Playing as a rogue that specializes in two handed fighting. I probably won't try a warrior since I don't really like the two handed abilities, they are naturally slower in hitting their target. A warrior that specializes in sword and shield isn't very interesting so I would go for two weapon style again. But a rogue is better since they have their rogue abilities. Yes I think I stay with a rogue from now on.

Dragon Age. Finished the Broken Circle quest, went back to camp. Cheated on Leliana and slept with Alistair and Zevran, well basically all three of them that same night. Broke it off with the two boys and went back to Leliana. Went back to Redcliffe with the mages help. After that on to Orzammar for the final quest before Landsmeet.

Been getting around. Slept with all three of them in the same night. Ended up back with Leliana though.

Doing the dreaded Mage's Broken Tower quest. I dislike this long winded puzzle solving quest. Just give me some hack n slash. I usually do this quest last.

I will never look at Zevron the same again.

More like steam punk than Fallout.

Everything about Orzammar is great. The quests, characters, encounters and scenery.

Sten as a character in general and his frustrating humor = +100.

I am so loving playing as a female character who can romance a hot female character.

Ferelden = Rohan with dogs? Tevinter Imperium falling to blood magic reminded me of the Roman Empire & the Mithras cult decadence. I imagined Ferelden the old celtic communities of western Europe. Some seems inspired by old germanic tribes like the Franks (Orlais), Lombards (Antuvia) and I wouldn't be surprised if I some day found Goth and Vandal influences I imagined the Qunari more like Huns than Almohads though, seeing that they feature here and there as mercenaries. Funny thing about how games and fictional stories mirror reality in many ways like Andraste. Someone at Bioware must have an interest in the Dark Ages, the Roman Empire and other sources of Medieval time period. Your quest for the Urn of Ashes is similar to that of the Quest for the Holy Grail.

Demos? Haven't heard that word being associated with games in many a year.

Started a new Dragon Age game on this computer as a City Elf rogue with a big chip on her shoulder. Damn those humans.

Uninstalled everything, shut down, took one card out and keeping it out, took the primary card out and installed it again, boot up and reinstalled the software. Works just fine with one card now. It could have been a power and heating issue at the same time. The geniuses that designed these Antec 900 cases stuck the power supply at the bottom of the case. So if you have two cards installed you have a card blowing hot air at the power supply and the power supply is blowing hot air at the secondary card. I'll just use the one card in this machine and whenever I decide to get the next generation card I'll put it in this computer and put the 4890s in my other computer.

Dragon Age just finished the Dwarf quest. Debating which one to move to next. The mage tower has those damn puzzles, one thing I hate about RPGs are puzzles, they bore me. I'll probably do the Redcliffe quest next, that's mostly straight hack n slash.

Me and Leliana got together finally. Did the dwarf quest. That is an amazing area, the best in the game so far. Bioware is good at show casing dwarves and their homes even the ruins of a city.

Now I got my two 4890 graphic cards. Now when I play a game and after a few moments of playing the computer shuts down, waits a couple of seconds and reboots. Never had this problem until I installed those two cards. I have an Apevia 750 watt power supply, or so it claims. These cards require a 6 pin and 8 pin. It comes with an adapter in case you don't have an eight pin, which I don't which uses up two four pins. Now that is explained these cards in total use 4 four pin adapters and 2 six pins. I'm thinking its a power supply that can't handle it. Just about all of the other connections are being used for one thing or another like fans, DVD, etc. I just got done reading the reviews of this power supply and others have had problems with it. Epic fail. First I get a faulty 5870, then I can't get another one because they are out of stock, get 4890's and they're power hogs.

They can keep it. No way in hell am I spending 600 on a piece of technology that won't be worth that in 6 months. Nice of Newegg boosting the prices of the 5870's by ten dollars. I'll stick with the 4890's until prices drop into the 200's. DX11 is not a big deal since there are no games coming out that I want that use it.

My patience has ended. I ordered two 4890s yesterday. Screw the wait on 5870s.

I just started a second game, I wanted to try the rogue class. Female elf, rogue. After doing the beginning of the game, I can see why there would be a lot of dislike and hatred that elves have towards humans. When I played my first game as a mage I didn't really get that but playing the City Elf Origins I can see the distrust between the two races.
