Strange thing about Baldur's Gate leveling out at around 8-9 is the mages have the ability to memorize level 9 spells and priests level 7. That's why us modders made level cap removers.

I'm a wussy. After my first play thru I had to use a cheat code to fast forward through that haunted house part. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The haunted house is one of the greatest parts in the game.Too bad it's short in my opinion, I could hang out there longer.

Must be I lucked out. I have 1.0B and hadn't had any game killing problems. I've played three games straight through without incident. I always install the latest patches because I trust that they fix problems not create them.
