  1. Has anyone seen The Last Airbender? I'm a big fan of the show (it's a family friendly affair that still manages to be really epic and smart most of the time and occasionally reaches heights that no one but Miyazaki himself can climb to), but the reviews do not fill me with confidence.
  2. The problem is that they're giant white spaces with the text www.sankukacomplex.com on it.
  3. I'm sorry, but making a foul IS cheating. That's why it's punished. That's why it's called a foul. You make a foul, you cheated, you get punished. End of story. What I'm saying it that the rules should be tightened to prevent people from purposefully cheating for a tactical advantage. Apparently the old garde of dutch supporters are terrified of this because of the last time.
  4. I dunno about the NHL thing because I've never watched Hockey, but for the basketball: Same thing. It's not within the rules of the game. It's the same as exploiting a glitch in a competitive video game. It's cheating, plain and simple. Just because it's been allowed and/or tolerated doesn't mean it's right. Germany winning again.
  5. It shouldn't be legitimate risk. There are rules AGAINST it for a reason. It should deter players from doing it.
  6. He may be right on what happened, he definitely isn't right on whether or not it was a good thing. "Clever and courageous" is what he said, and that just isn't true. It was an underhanded tactic that has no place in a civilized sport. As for Gyan failing the penalty, he shouldn't have been put into this situation in the first place. If anything, it goes to show how ineffective the rules are and that they need to be tightened because they allow for these kinds of things to happen. Deliberately making a foul to prevent a goal is simply cheating, no way around it, but if the consequences just aren't harsh enough to properly deter players from doing it, it just goes to show that something is wrong with the game.
  7. This is bull****. A penalty is called a penalty for a reason - it's a PUNISHMENT for doing something WRONG. The goal of the system is in place to prevent these things from happening, not to have players strategically abuse them. It is NOT within rights, otherwise it wouldn't be punished. I am so sick of players abusing the rules, that's just unsportsmanlike behavior. Not just this but also crap like deliberately falling down to try and coax a free kick out of the ref, which is something Suarez was also guilty of throughout his career. It's a jerk-move, it makes a mockery of football and as far as I'm concerned Uruguay should be disqualified, and at the least constant cheater Suarez should be banned from ever playing football in a league again. They may officially be the winner, but they came out as losers and have NOTHING to be proud of.
  8. Suarez gears himself for the Volleyball World Championship, obviously.
  9. With Suarez not playing next time, Holland should have an easier time. As long as they're not cheating Uruguay is not much of a threat.
  10. All I can say is FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU- Come on Holland!
  11. SUNBURN!!!!!!!! FFFFFUUUUUU-
  12. Watching Coraline again. Stop-motion animation is the only animation I don't actually do myself, so I should be biased against it, but I think this is probably one of the greatest animated films of all time. It's a shame people think Tim Burton did it, because Tim Burton doesn't come near being talented enough to do this.
  13. Not much to say about it, it's a few squares. Like to see more!
  14. Officially, neither, but BioWare's making an MMORPG that makes it quite unlikely.
  15. Watching Die Hard right now. I win.
  16. I'd e-mail Blizzard about that, at least. : /
  17. Haha, of course, The Asylum would! Right off the bat from their hit flick "Mega Shark Vs. Giant Octopus!!"
  18. I guess Holland's game got the job done, but it was pretty crappy. Actually, it was crappy for the first half, then fantastic for ten minutes into the second half, then complete ****e for the rest of it. I thought Japan actually played better than us.
  19. Hahahaha, oh man. International embarrassment for Mr. Jong-Il.
  20. no... NO... NNNNNOOOOOOO.... they got like EVERYONE wrong. Deadpool is not a combination of mutations, he's the merc with a mouth who got an extreme healing factor to deal with a cancer that'd kill him, but it also messed with his neurology to the point where he was basically insane. Sabertooth and Wolverine don't really have a filial connection between them, just a former working relationship that went bad because Sabertooth became feral. The guy's healing factor is stronger than Wolverines (and used for more comedy). I was really disappointed with the movie depiction of Deadpool. They took the Merc with a Mouth and took away his mouth. >_ But the movie was fun to watch, I think. Stupid, but fun.
  21. Lots of chances for England so far but the ball just won't go into the goal.
  22. I hate how he was finally working towards becoming a person he could be happy with being, and then he just got smote down. That just sucks. His efforts detailed in the "Killian is Dead" thread were so inspiring, it just seems so incredibly unfair.
  23. And now all "big" teams have, kinda. YMMV.
  24. That sucks man. I'm a big Eels fan, but I don't dare to put this song anymore when a friend of mine is around, because his mother died of cancer and it pretty much reduces him to a depressed mess. So I know you're going pretty soon, Radiation sore throat got your tongue. Magic markers tattoo you, and show it where to aim. And strangers break their promises, you won't feel any... You won't feel any pain. With my family, our longer car-trips have a tendency devolve into hour long renditions of "We All Stand Together", but other than that I don't think there's anything else that really defines my family, music wise, though.
