  1. Those puns suck.
  2. This is issue is known. Currently, it is best to load the game using the load game feature instead of the continue feature. Please check the "known issues" thread. Thanks for you input and I hope that helps!
  3. Maybe not all, but most of them. Half of the names in the hacked list already have nudes out there, that they them selves agreed to. Also to them it's not void of dignity, it's "art". Also lol, I love Anna Kendricks. Right, because right of personal portrayal becomes void if you have made use of it yourself? It's a crime, and it's appalling. I hate how crimes become marginalized by people saying "well, if you'd just defend yourself against it properly..." Victims of crimes are somehow made out to be the perpetrators. "Well, it's your own fault" is nonsense, it is the fault of the person committing the crime, whether you have taken steps to defend against it or not. As if, man. Can you imagine? "whoa, someone climbed through your window and beat you up? well, if you had just locked your window!"
  4. Last time, Keyrock was almost done with Steamworld Dig and BruceVC just started really enjoying Jade Empire. *waves hand* You can go about your business.
  5. Closed for length. This is the thread you are looking for.
  6. Aside from the obvious "you're a creep both for looking at it and for validating those creeps that uploaded it", leaked nudes are generally very unflattering... you're pretty much guaranteed to be a lame dude with no standards if you fap to that. So... yay for you guys I guess?
  7. I maintain that Johnny Depp's claims of having created the character of Jack Sparrow are completely made up as he is just a lamer pirate version of Val Kilmer's Doc Holiday.
  8. Support was ended on KotOR 2 because LucasArts refused to let Obsidian patch, if I recall correctly. This should not be a problem here. As a Unity engine game the game should be pretty modable, but I don't know what will and what won't. Sawyer explained most things should be relatively easy except for building new environments.
  9. I'm waiting for what their insurance has to say before I make any decisions. They'll probably get their own mechanic to inspect it and all.,
  10. I get how mechanics make their calculations, but it's just not feasible. My girlfriend has a cheapo Ford Ka, like this one: It could be maybe feasible if it was another type of fender, but this is a three piece, black plastic fender and bumper that you essentially pop together like lego and fasten with pegs like this: Each piece goes for about €18, and only two pieces need replacing, plus about €10 euros for enough pegs. My dad's a truck mechanic, so not exactly the same thing, but he told me installing one couldn't take more than half an hour. We didn't get it fixed yet and I'm glad because I'm pretty sure that mechanic that did the estimate was trying to scam the insurance people.
  11. My girlfriend had a minor fender bender yesterday, or so I thought. How the hell does a couple of scratches and a couple of broken plastic bits on a plastic bumper end up being an estimated €1000? At least we didn't cause it so their insurance should pay for it. Hope they do, otherwise there goes my "new computer" fund.
  12. Lexx, are you laying the foundations of becoming a cyborg?
  13. That's because nobody realizes they're doing it, Malc. Subconscious.
  14. Overly made up? They sound Welsh or Celtic, much more real world roots than fairy land Faerun?
  15. I noticed that too, especially because I had noticed the same thing about Pacific Rim.
  16. Sometimes it's not as simple as 'if they wanted to be in X job they would'. But don't take my word for it. Take this guy's. http://whatwouldkingleonidasdo.tumblr.com/post/54989171152/how-i-discovered-gender-discrimination Single experience can't be translated to statistical importance but that is a super interesting read. The tl;dr version for people who don't have time to read is: "I'm a dude named Kim. I never got invited to job interviews. Then I put "Mr" in front of my name on my resumé and now that doesn't happen anymore."
  17. Yeah, since this isn't StarCraft I'm pretty sure this is a bug and needs to be fixed. Funny though.
  18. This, this, a thousand times this. Thought I support gender equality, I would never identify myself a feminist because the hardcore feminists have simply ruined the meaning of that word. It instantly polarizes and demonizes, removes gender equality over gender superiority and ruins all possible intelligent discussion.
  19. To answer your question about how moddable PoE is: It's nature of being a Unity based game means it will probably be fairly easy to mod. Sawyer has explained that making new backgrounds might be pretty difficult but new companions, dialogues, quests, etc. would be fairly simple to implement. I would personally not be surprised if the first rudimentary romance mods will pop up within two months of release.
  20. Guys, one last time, cool it with the personal attacks. Also, if you want to discuss this specific issue in more depth I'd suggest you make a seperate thread - this has gone long past going off-topic from discussing developer impressions.
  21. Can you actually get a cease & desist for simply emulating a gameplay concept / genre? I mean, as long as they're not actually using assets from RCT or actually calling their game Rollercoaster Tycoon" or "Theme Park", a similar franchise, I don't see how they have anything to worry about. Even the "Shining Empire" guy apparently hasn't got in trouble yet for the obviously Shining Force influenced game. I do not know, I think that the art assets look almost exactly the same and the game mechanics look exactly the same. This is not so much influence or emulate as it is copy. I'm a bit iffy as I'm not into copyright law.
  22. I read something on this board recently about a female designer on Assassin's Creed? I definately agree that woman should be treated equally and there should be more of them in game development.. (or just the field of software engineering in general).. However.. I think it's kind of hypocrytical to say "The Contributions women make towards.." Why does gender matter.. isn't the point of equality to not judge achievements and performance based on gender.. I am being a little pedantic.. but.. is inequality only bad when its negative? I am gonna get misquoted and yelled at.. I don't think you are. You made your point logically. I'd say the entire point of inequality is that it's always a negative for someone, however.
