  1. Believing that what you are doing is virtuous often times leads to utter ruin. Frankly, being passionate about something usually, though possibly not always, leads to tunnelvision, which blinds you about whats going around you. As for virtue, this isn't really so. This has more to do with pride and self-righteousness. These are two negative emotions that frequently inflict those who believe they are good. If you temper your virtue with humility you're not going to run into problems, or at least run into far fewer problems.
  2. Some words, here and there. Igen, Nem, Viz, etc. But I couldn't carry on a conversation in it.
  3. *Is technically Hungarian.* Least both my parents are.
  4. Have you heard of Time & Space Takes Mitsuda's(Chrono Trigger, Chrono Chross) work and remixes them. There's a sample at the link I provided. Mitsuda does some good work, but Sakuraba(Star Ocean) edges him out slightly for me. Zelda's music is also good as is Dragon Warrior's
  5. Actually it is an indication of emotion. Just that this emotion always seems to be anger and/or hate. And anger/hate/pride cloud judgement leading to less than sound decisions.
  6. OH I know what youre saying. But the argument evil can only be smart or should be smart is completely fallacious. Just look at the real world around us. I know that horrible real world. Just take a quick peek. There are plenty of very evil people that get caught because they also happen to be very stupid. So YES it is. In fact its almost impossible for chaotic stupid not to be evil. Chaotic=impulsive most likely selfish behaviour. Stupid=committing an act without regards for the consequences. So if they see a nice watch on display they are the ones more prone to take it. I agree. By all means make the main villain a Sidious type character. But Malak is evil chaotic stupid or not. So is Darth Bandon and he's even dumber. You make some really good point. But, I have to point out the evil that exists without fear of the consequences. That was my point earlier in this thread. If I could just quote Aeschylus from The Oresteia: "Man can not do good without fear of the consequences of doing evil. If the work of man's hand is not supervised by the Furies, that hand will stop at nothing. The man without fear of the law will easily kill, as if by nature, and the city without fear of the law is that killer's playground." This is the essence of hate. If you become devoid of the fear of the consequences and are only acting out of the act of defiance, this is evil in that you are not giving anything emotionally except hate. So this is not stupid. It is in fact passion. And through passion, you gain strength... "..And through passion you gain weakness." Well at least in the real world, and apparently in the Star Wars universe as well. I really can't think of any scenario where giving free reign to your passions would give you anything but a momentary advantage. Hence, its still pretty stupid.
  7. Not really. Not retro enough for Fallout. Fallout robots are all retro with antenae sticking out randomly and glass domes for heads, and rubber arms. That robot looks nothing like that.
  8. "Search your feelings. You know it to be true."
  9. [quote name='Bless
  10. How about a "Developer Room" ending? If anyone has played Chrono Trigger, you know what I am talking about.
  11. Let me guess, you're party members are a galactic patrolman, a legendary burglar(who is incidentally, the very first to bite the dust), a common salaryman, a mathematician, and a gifted but extremely autistic teenager, right?,
  12. Hades, you wouldn't by chance happen to be a subscriber to this magazine?
  13. You know what I think. There is this Sith Artifact you need to find. As you go to each planet you'll fight a Sith Lord, but when you go to collect the Artifact, this short alien will appear and say "Sorry, but your artifact is on another planet." This will happen until you reach the 7th planet, but instead of the short alien appearing, the Sith Artifact will be there.
  14. Are you asking if its Dec 6, 2005 rather than Dec 6, 2004? Is there a year listed on the site?
  15. How about Ewok Jedi? Jawa Jedi? Ewoks or Jawa, period?
  16. Sith Holocron? Probably was one lying around. There always is. Which is strange, I think. The Sith don't seemed to be geared toward artifice, nor particularly interested in sharing their knowledge.
  17. It was in the ~100 MB video. Mira joins your party. In the description it says she has these wrist mounted rocket launchers and will be able to use any rockets and grenades you come across.
  18. I think he learned of the Sith by browsing the Holonet. Maybe he also picked up "Sith For Dummies" off of Amazon. Maybe Palpatine's a very old Sith. Having transferred his essence from decaying body to a fresh one every now and then. If you go by EU, the Emperor had his own personal cloning facilities.
  19. You mean they're not being attacked by hissing rabbits?
  20. I don't know if anyone has played Romance Of The Three Kingdoms VIII, but in it your officer had the ability to become Oath Brother/Sister with other officers. You could also develop Sworn Enemies if opposing forces executed your family members or Oath Brother/Sisters. You could also develop rivalries with other officers. Now I don't know how helpful this was, but, there you go.
  21. How about a Nemesis? Not necessarily the main villain, but someone who holds a grudge against you, and tries to make certain you fail. Obviously, it won't be a party member, maybe an ex-party member, or perhaps someone you manage to anger early in the game like a crime boss.
  22. :thinks of the name for KOTOR 3: "How about Knights Of The Old Republic: Hendar's Revenge?"
  23. Woah. Are we talking about the same Jolee? Maybe its just because I was playing Lightside, but to me Jolee was just the coolest character ever. The guy has some pretty funny stories.
  24. So, are we able to visit a world made from Pie? Possibly with Pie statelites revolving around it? Do you mean Kreia? Thats the old gal in robes' name. When they refered to the 'white-haired chick', I think they were referring to the younger one. Hm...just going out with a hair-brained idea here, but could the 'white-haired chair' be a slightly older Bastila with a dye job?
