Who do you want to return for KOTOR 3?
OLD SKOOL WHEELMAN replied to Bokishi's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
But you can't have Juhani come back after you kill her so you can kill her again...or can you? Or they can just make KotNR, but it won't have that same pizzazzazzz in the name.... -

I read it and enjoyed the story, but that might have been partly the fact that I didn't buy it...

Indeed :D. Anyway, nothing wrong about polite villains that make you trust them. It at laast give us a good variation from the oh-so-many Sith whose first action will be to try and chop you in two with his/her lightsaber <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Exactly my point, and the villain could be established as such, or they could just be enigmatic. -

So then what new force powers would there be? Super Duper Awesome Bitchin' Force Storm? That actually sounds pretty cool.... Well, I have an idea. Why don't they just have you start as a new character, extract information from your previous games through a process like the did with Atton, and you have to find the Exile or Revan, and tell them about a discovery...as in something you discovered that was worth discovering... *ahem* Anyways, you find yourself in uncharted space, getting bombarded by a huge transport ship, fight some fighters or get captured by the ship...don't know where the story goes from there, but needless to say you probably end up on a tropical island singing a Tropical Song. -

To me, K2 seemed bigger than K1, but I think that the KotOR series should side in the quality view in the war of Quality vs. Quantity. I don't take to that example of grey being portrayed in Kotor. I think that some of those Sith in the game should be polite and unmenacing, but stab you in the face when the time is right, and some of the Jedi should be more arrogant without falling to the DS (more examples of how most people think of Vrook) The NPC's have usually been top-notch in KotOR, but the villains...some need to drop the crap and become alot more rounder in their personalitites. -
What did you enjoy more?
OLD SKOOL WHEELMAN replied to OLSC's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I actually enjoyed both in this game compared to K1, but I suppose I will always return to the light... -

Something different and unique. Yes. Pupose unclear? Maybe, so long as cliches are left covered and built upon. Mystery is usually a must with a good villain, but the enigmatic quality must reflect the villain, not be a part of him. His background and actions can be clouded, but they both should be combined into him, creating a memorable villain. As a SW game, it should go along with the SW theme, but I do have to agree with points like Jolee expresses...his quality should be kept in mind... As long as the gameplay is as fresh and memorable as the first time, I have no problem with this, meaning as long as the quests have moderate quality and are memorable so the casual gamer does not get confused. Yes, but everything included should at least complement some aspect of the SW universe, which I think you probably mean. This is the only point I disagree with you on. It should be unique, creatively genius, and a revolutionary experience of our era. -
I like Reel Big Fish more. Alot more. -OSW

Erm.... I doubt after the numerous times they have told us that the character is in his right mind that they would supposedly "pull" this.... -

I want them to include the tradition of Star Wars, as in the OE, and pretend like the prequels never happened. Also, inspire, don't copy. edit: nice force crush pic

It didn't matter to Revan because it didn't need to matter. Training is probably very important to the Jedi also, but if you have already done it once, why do it again when the galaxy is at stake? Also taking in the fact that you have already built a lightsaber, you can probably retrieve it, or build a new one, but since you were already a Jedi, and the Sith are sending assassins after you, I think they might need to rush it just a little bit.

I use my Xbox for playing.... I suppose I have now received a life, for I no longer care about this game as much as I used to. But that aside, I feel sorry for you pc'ers who have, as you claim, been lied to. However, I don't see the point of harboring the Xbox version until the Pc one is out, and for those of you concerned with spoilers, if KotOR related forums are your only bag, then I feel sorry for you. I suppose I should leave with stolen and used pints while I can. I will leave you with one word: Pansies. ....with myself.

I thought he was going to use his infinite mastery of the darkside to transfer his twisted mind and being to thousands of clones he made and take over the world and reduce our language so our views get smaller and smaller and run a global diet pill pyramid scheme, and create a whole new branch of Thought Police to rule mercilessly over our heads as we wage eternal war against Soviet Canada and Eurasia. -
