  1. Well that's not really fair. G0-T0 is useful, it's just that you get him a point in the game where most people use a team of Padawans instead, and his moment in the sun, M4-78, was cut.
  2. Influence=Good, Character Development Based Upon Level=Lazy Programmers. Obsidian created the Influence system in One year, in the three years Bioware had they could ahve created the Influence system, and made the party member's side-quests less formulaic and irritating.
  3. Everyone, point and laugh at the foolish fool who bought the X-box version!
  4. Yeah, Bioware doesn't seem to have much moral sense. I mean seriously, saying your going to kill Matrix for his bounty is darkside, but saying your going to rob the place isn't? Since when has it been light-sided for people to wander into apartments and steal everything not nailed down.
  5. I thought that Revan built the HK factory so that when the Jedi retreated to Telos after Dantooine was no longer safe, they'd have HK droids waiting at the doorstop.
  6. Yes, but your the guy's lawyer, whether or not he's Guilty it is your job to try to not get him convicted. Bioware really misplaces these LS/DS issues.
  7. HK or T3, those are sweet droids. I like G0-T0 as a character, but I really don't want to take him with me when I have all of these padawans, and the Remote was pretty much the same.
  8. Well the Sith could be using an underling's corpse, dressed up as him, in Sadow's absence. It seems like something the Sith would do.
  9. And Kreia isn't that happy with most Darkside acts anyway, she likes manipulation, whether is light-side, dark-side, or neutral doesn't matter to her. She mostly cares about indirectly getting the job done, she does this throughout the game. Hanharr going after Mira, Nihilus attacking Telos and indirectly Atris, and so on.
  10. "I find your lack of proper grammar disturbing." Seriously, what are you talking about? Yes, Kreia does tell you about Nihilus if you can get her to tell you about the Sith that are chasing you.
  11. But he couldn't be refering to the followers of Exar Kun? I mean it was forty years ago, and is mentioned by many of the party members.
  12. Okay, Nihlus is not the Exile to an extreme, if anything he is the polar opposite of the Exile. The Exile uses the 'leftover Force' that comes from others to feel the Force, as hinted at from the <fullname> crystal. Nihilus is completely dependant on the Force, as the Exile says, aftere he killed the galaxy he will wither and die. Nihlus and Sion are both examples f how far you can fall into the darkside, not away from the Force. Also, Kreia mentioned that the hunger technique is as old as the ancient Sith empire, the way the Exile feels the Force is something new and misunderstood.
  13. "Know that much may happen here, but above all do not forget this. You may trust in me, we cradle eachother's lives, and what threatens one of us, threatens us both. And if you find you cannot trust me, trust in your training, trust in yourself." -Kreia Best Kreia quote, perfectly describes Kreia's character in my opinion.
  14. Well he's been pretty bitter during K1, I don't think that his period in isolation after Katarr helped with that problem in anyway.
  15. Now, on the subject of Necrophilia, when I first saw Kreia I thought she was cute, in a disturbing, bitter, old woman, sort of way.
  16. Other people have said this too, but it doesn't make any sense to me. Why put the factory on telos when you dont have the pars required for HK-47 yet and when HK-47 is running, there is no option to return to the Czerka restoration zone. Plus there is a whole planet of droids that got cut from the game. It seems logical the Factory would be on M4-78(i think it is called) Maybe I missed some info... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> HK was to go to the Droid Factory when the Ravager attacked, they repolished the soundfiles to not mention the cut content where Bao and HK disapear during this ordeal.
  17. The final acess code on G0-T0's yacht said on it M4-78, G0-T0 was controlling M4 from a distance, as implied by T3, Bao, and company.
  18. Customization. The romance in K1 was cheesy and pissed me off, while the romance in K2 is incomplete so I can't really judge it yet.
  19. Zez-Kai Ell and Vash, hands-down. They were the understanding graywalkers of the High Jedi Council, and they were pretty nice too the Exile.
  20. Actually, you have the files needed to play the droid factory and M4-78, the PC version doesn't have those modules in it's files. Anyway, the Droid Factory is under that military base on Telos, and is where HK discovers and reprograms the HK-51s to follow him and their true purpose.
  21. What lvl would you recommend for starting atton as a jedi? I usually let him lvl to 10 then save rest for Jedi. He was ok as a jedi but I was not impressed. I disagree with no bad party member statement. Goto was useless. We already had two droids and a third was unneeded, imho. I'd love wookies if they didn't take 5 minutes to say "hello". bah <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As several people said before. G0-T0 is not useless, the problem is that you don't use him in the more dialouge related situations where he makes himself usefull.
  22. Basically, the Sith and Jedi both have it wrong. You don't acheive balance by becoming an emotionless drone, or by becoming a slave to your passions. You get it by being BALANCED, not an extreme, a gray. That's why Jolee and Kreia had the right idea.
  23. The only thing better are the items like robes and crystals, and the influence system I prefered Kotor 1 over all especially the story. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If K2 was worse in story than K1, then Obsidian must havbe not been paying much attention to what they were doing. I mean, most of the characters have MOTIVATION, something most of the K1 characters didn't have. Malak was just, "Let's blow up the galaxy, because were the EBIL SPACE NAZIS! I mean Sith." Carth was, "My commanding officer betrayed the Republic, so I won't trust you even though you have proven yourself multiple times you aren't a Sith spy!" Bastilla was another Padme, kick-ass at the beggining, a waste of base materials at the end. I really felt glad that I could kill her on the Star Forge. Mission, Zaalbar, T3, and Jolee are characters I never use if I have the choice. Juhani's accent made my ears bleed. Basing character development on the leveling up of the PC was one of the most horrible choices Bioware made, right along with all the situations were you get not chance to survive, and the fact that a Lightsaber's damage is strength based. The plot twist was, "OMFG YOU'RE LIKE, TOTALLY, REVAN!" Which is not only cheap, you also lose control of your character after the Leviathan, and the lightside and darkside acts just don't feel satisfactory to me, okay you send out Star Forge ships in every direction, but the Republic still stands in the sequel, and every peice of EU after KotOR so obviously you failed in crushing the it.
  24. Or like in my case, played K2 first and didn't know what Canderous sounded like.
