Does the "party" members that have to go without being unconscious include Ranger pets?

How do you know exactly what Act you're in? I seem to remember finding a way through my first play through but in my second game I don't see anything in the Journal saying what Act I am in. Is there some obvious way? Thanks!

What happens if you kill people, do you lose Rep with that city etc or do they not care about the backer NPCs?

Yeah I was in the same boat. I haven't truthfully been reading all the dialogue as much as I should be so I'm not sure exactly what is happening in the game but I see these yellow bared people and reached into their soul without knowing why. At least now I know why they are different lol.

Rather strange that no one mentioned the ancient Ultima 5. In that game you could rest anywhere but player also has an option to post a guard for "night time" so all characters get waken up when party get attacked. Same deal in Realms of Arkania when you rest on the road. You can post up to 3 people to take shifts and some stats affect whether you get jumped.

I've restarted steam, loaded up my game and made another Adventurer from BlackHound Inn and still no achievement. Do I need to start a new game for achievements to work!? I'm 20+ hrs into this game lol

Monster kills do award experience up to a point. Say the first time you encounter an ooze you get 100xp and beastiary will be partially filled about Oozes. Once you have killed the amount of Oozes needed to fill the beastiary completely they will never give you XP just for killing them. It's usually after like 5 or something.

Too bad the stretch goals didn't include Quality Assurance I joke of course. I have double clicked but I never noticed the passives. Bleh!

Look at some of the steam achievements. Beat the game with resting under 10 times. beat it by killing less than 175 creatures/NPCs, beat it with no members hitting 0 endurance etc...

My problem is positioning. Ii find a lot of times I try to focus fire let's say a mage in the back. So i send them all after the mage. My ranger and my priest stay back throwing skills. Once the mage is almost dead (or immediately after knocking him down with my fighter) I send my fighter to pick someone else up. Here pathing doesn't really seem to be working well for me. He just stands there unless i point and click him around the group of people to where I want him to go. Seems very odd but happens a lot in cramped spaces or where the fight is beside furniture. That explains a lot of messed up fights for me, the for the ones I cannot get through I sneak around them and keep exploring. It's exploring and quests that give majority of experience anyways. I come back once I have better equipment or skills/stats.

Something to do with enchanting

Make an Adventurer -> I made 3. No achievement awarded on steam profile or any pop up in game. Completed Act I -> Completed Act I. No achievement awarded on steam profile or any pop up in game. My steam profile does show 13.9 hrs last two weeks / 13.9 hrs on record So it is tracking game time

That's great, except I-- and I assume many others-- are already playing in english. Everything I have is already set to english in every capacity. It does not fix it. I wouldn't understand anything if I was not playing the English version of the game, so that is either nothing to do with it or only a part of the problem.

Well I hired and made two Adventurers yesterday from the inn and that achievement still does not appear on my profile in Steam so I'm going to say it is not working for me. =/ I'll have to spend another 500cp today and try it out I guess.

I had a lot of trouble in the beginning with just two people. I had to hire 2 more characters to help out (playing Normal)

I thought once it was built up a little bit there is an inn you sleep at. I haven't gotten that far yet though.

I see that the game is listed as having achievements but I cannot see a list of them and to the best of my knowledge I did not get a pop up in the game yet for anything (although maybe I just haven't done anything to get one yet). Are these up and working? Any way to see the list of them in Steam? Thanks guys,

Ah well, gives me time to eat breakfast, do some dishes, and head out and pick up a second Monitor and HDMI cable for streaming (or..trying to...still figuring it out heh). Busy morning, fun afternoon!

It all depends on the achievements for me.

I've seen commercials of Bloodborne and nooooo thank you. Not that the graphics are bad I suppose, just not my style of look.
