  1. Do you have Visas in the party? If not, board the Ebon Hawk, and you will get the missing part.
  2. If you mean G-canon, or the movie canon, then no. If you mean C-canon, or the EU canon, which some people don't consider canon, then yes.
  3. The other ending was not removed from the game - it was removed from the shared universe the game is set in.
  4. Whether or not you accept the EU as canon or not (looks like most people to, if they know about the EU's existence) is a matter of personal preference, but technically, the KOTOR games are on the same level of canon as most of the EU: C-canon. Both.
  5. Adahn is not the Nameless One's name. MasterRevan, why do you hate Torment?
  6. Strange. Influence checks don't check alignment.
  7. Don't confuse the Expanded Universe - media sanctioned and licensed by Lucasfilm - with fan fiction. You can write this story, but as long as it's not licensed by Lucasfilm, it's not EU. Publishing an EU work is by no means a simple process, it involves checking for continuity errors with the Holocron database, not to mention that key decisions involving major characters need to be discussed on a high level, sometimes involving Lucas himself if it includes the characters he created (for example, Lucas disallowed killing Luke in NJO, so Chewbacca died instead; also he ordered to kill Anakin Solo instead of Jacen).Of course, the KOTOR era is not as strictly monitored as the post-(pre-, inter-)movie era, as it doesn't involve any movie characters.
  8. Excuse me, but it does. Unless you recognize the Star Wars universe as a multiverse of parallel universes, which it isn't.
  9. First of all, the word "alien" is not applicable in Star Wars. Second, the Sith species also appeared in Tales of the Jedi, long before NJO.
  10. Well, that ending doesn't exist in K2. Deal with it.
  11. Wait, what exactly do you agree with? I never meant anything like that.
  12. Obsidian ripping off JA? You must be kidding, there's nothing rip-offable there to begin with.
  13. I couldn't agree more.
  14. If you mean "Are you an angel?", then that line wasn't cut.
  15. Disciple is there regardless of Exile's gender.
  16. It's misspelled, the correct spelling is .
  17. I suppose we'll never know. I presume Obsidian delved into BioWare's text and built the story upon the references that were in K1, but usually went unnoticed. It's similar to retconning, although retcons are usually introduced in response to continuity contradictions. In this case, Obsidian turned Malachor V - the place of the last battle in the Mandalorian Wars, insignificant by itself - into a remnant of the ancient Sith, filled with the dark side. Similarly, they took that reference about the Sith and turned it into a reference to the Sith Empire in the Unknown Regions. Similarly, the introduction of Sauron and the One Ring into the world of The Hobbit (itself retconned to be Middle-earth from The Silmarillion) was based upon existing obscure references. Yes, and K2 didn't screw up the KOTOR universe. Like one droid said, "A common misconception, not supported by facts."
  18. The Mandalorian camp wasn't left intact. The zone is actually named "Mandalorian Ruins" in the game. The Mandalorians under Canderous may have rebuilt it between K1 and K2. As for why the Republic didn't watch Dxun... perhaps it was not that important. They wiped the Mandalorians at Malachor, destroyed the Mandalorian outposts on Dxun (although they missed many hidden caches), and had to use all available military in the Jedi Civil War.
  19. The Mandalorian Wars started on and were managed from Dxun (according to Exile, it was "the heart of the Mandalorian crusade"), but the Republic only invaded Dxun after the Jedi joined the war. I assume it was in the very end of the war, shortly before Malachor V.
  20. Or better...
  21. Yes, it's Vogga. Motta is the Hutt on Tatooine in KOTOR I.
  22. Well, I suppose it depends on the storyline. If there is no need for a turning point, I don't think the developers should force it into the story. Besides, the light and dark endings differ rather significantly in the fates of the planets you visited, your companions, and ultimately the Republic Outer Rim "relief" program. Yes, of course, it's all just text, you never see the consequences... but still. (And of course, Atris either lives or dies, and Malachor either explodes or remains intact.)
  23. An exploit to get unlimited influence with Kreia... http://forums.team-gizka.org/viewtopic.php...1e3d0240c762449
  24. Even if Bastila stopped using the Force, she still remained Force-sensitive. Sooner or later she would have been spotted by Nihilus.
  25. If you play a female character, Atton cracks one more line connected to a certain Skywalker...
