  1. The way I read it was that you had a net gain of 75cp, after a loss of 606cp to bandits. That's the only way to explain why I've got money in the thousands, as the loot I get hardly earn me much. However it still beggars the question why we should be losing this much with high keep security. Hmm...
  2. Yes, please allow us to lay more than 1 trap.
  3. I noticed too and promptly thanked to the gods that I'm not OCD
  4. Nintendo games had a benefit of being developed for a single platform - Nintendo only, this means resources are less tied up to QC/develop for a whole bunch of platforms. Also from what I have gathered and noticed, Nintendo's platforms and games are less complicated - which helps a lot. Their infamous QC obviously being the other big factor. That said, Obsidian need to up their ante on QC. But what we are seeing here (bug-wise) is par for the course for almost all large scale games ... you can play upon release, but beware the bugs!
  5. I thought the Kelsey BG2 mod featured really good voice-acting. This, however, is a really ill-thought idea. It would be great to eventually see some Kelsey-style mods for POE. Yeah, I should have qualified my statement with *most*
  6. I've played mods in with fan-made voiceovers. They really are not very good at all usually, and more likely to break immersion. There's a reason why voice-acting is quite a niche profession.
  7. I'm reminded of this song:
  8. Just remember that slicken will keep it occupied for a short while, but I think it is enough so that your group can kill it at range, preferably with a DR penetration weapon like the blunderbuss. But whatever the case is, always have an off-tank near Aloth to be on the safe side.
  9. If you have a cipher, use charm/confusion/paralyze powers on the phantoms and shades when they 'port over to Aloth. And spam them again when duration runs out. Or be proactive and get the Slicken spell for Aloth - spam it in front of the team before the shade/phantom teleports (I think the 'port range is pretty short). They are apparently not immune to slipping.
  10. 2e and 3e wizards/magic users were gods, not because they were dps cannons, but the fact that they were the swiss-army-knife class. It's their versatility to adapt to situations by memorizing the right spells made them powerful and therefore fun to play. The downside of course were their HP and the need to rest and memorize. In BG2 and TOB, with meta-spells like Spell Sequencers, Spell triggers and Contingency, you often find tanking (and sometimes melee classes) irrelevant, as magic users could fire off a combo of deadly spells within a very short period of time.
  11. It is better to learn. Keep your group small so that you won't get overwhelmed as you learn. Part of the joy of playing your team members is to see the synergy and teamwork in action. For example: My cipher spamming eyestrike on an enemy which allows the rogue to stab gleefully (and endlessly) at the blinded enemy with his sneak attack
  12. I'm still experimenting with the Stash restriction. But if I'm not mistaken, by restricting the Stash, you could still put items inside it but you could not access it to retrieve items unless you are in town/safe areas. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
  13. Hmm, if I'm not mistaken Eder will want to talk to you about the aftermath of killing Maerwald. Have you chatted with him yet?
