Pretty sure the Rosies were male. It was just a name for them, and they were always called "Mr. Bubbles". There were four versions, bouncers and rosies, each with their higher end form. I prefered the bouncers, since their drill and charge attacks were a lot more fun to fight than the Rosie, who simply had lots of armor and a gun.
